Since its founding in 1777, San Jose has grown into the tenth-largest city in the country and the third largest in the state of California. Many tech companies call South Jose home, attracting an abundance of professionals and an energetic workforce from all over the nation. Slightly less expensive than San Francisco, which lies just one hour north by car, South San Jose has become home to a diverse community who appreciate more affordable rent while still living in a big city. South San Jose is located just east of Los Gatos and is about three miles south of downtown. However, this district does not sacrifice natural beauty for city life with its many parks, walking trails, and bike paths like Santa Teresa County Park.

Property Ratings at The Woods
I recently visited the woods to inquire about available units. Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience. Upon entering the leasing office, I noticed a bed bug on one of the chairs. When I brought this to the staff's attention, they insinuated that I might have brought the bed bug in, which was both offensive and unprofessional. Additionally, they acted as though the presence of bed bugs was not a significant issue. This isn't my first negative experience with this complex. I moved in last December, and the apartment was infested with roaches. I had already moved all my belongings in, which turned out to be a major waste of my time. I had to pack everything up again and move out after just two days due to the infestation. The management never offered me another apartment. When I tried to secure another unit just days later I was told that it had already been rented out, even though I was ready to put down a deposit. Overall, these experiences have made me very concerned about the cleanliness and management of this property. I would advise others to be extremely cautious when considering this complex. Bed bugs is a serious issue.
Don’t move into this place. They said parking is not an issue . But low and behold after they got you to move “ there’s a parking issue!”. I designated carport per apartment and you are allowed 2 more permitted cars. Find open parking is a nightmare. I’m having to circle the whole complex’s for 2 hours to find one and it’s a a. Ike ride to your own apartment. Don’t move in because they lied to get your money.
Gave 1 star, since there is no option below 1 star. As mentioned by others, finding parking is impossible here, loudy neighborhood, there is always communication gap within their management. All these guys care about is the rent. It has happened many times that they had shutdown the water without any prior notice, and too for hours. Many times there was no hot water. And when we tried to call maintenance we used to get standard answer always saying that we are looking into it, we don't know how much time it will take to fix the problem. We have to postpone move out plan due to covid. When we moved out after 1.5 years, these guys kept the entire deposit of $850 and they are asking to pay an extra amount $250. We lived in 1 bedroom apartment which is ~660 sq ft without any damage. The reason mentioned by these guys is the cooking odor in the apartment, which is practically not possible since we moved a week before handing over the keys. As per these guys the cost of cleaning and paint is $1100 for 1 bedroom apartment ???? seriously !!!! Very bad move out experience, we will never recommend this apartment to anyone.

Dear Happy A, I appreciate the chance to respond to your review regarding move out costs. We spoke with you at length and reviewed photos of the apartment which showed additional cleaning was necessary. There were three different inspections of your apartment with three different people and they all noted the existing cooking odor which had, over the length of your residency, permeated the walls and cabinets. This condition can only be eliminated by first priming and then painting the entire apartment which is expensive. I’m sorry that you were unsatisfied with the resolution of our discussions regarding the move out charges. I wish you the best in your new living situation.
I lived at this complex for only 1 year and was extremely disappointed with my experience. For the most part, I was overall satisfied with my time there. My issue with the woods came after I left. After clearing out my apartment, I decided to give it a deep cleansing. Unfortunately for me, after opting out of being present for the final inspection, I was hit with a major cleaning bill. I was charged the full amount of my deposit and had around $150 added on top of that to be paid. I have never had a complex charge me such a ridiculous amount. I didn’t have the time to put a fight in for my deposit and I think that they banked on that. I don’t believe I’m the only one who’s been through this with them either. Avoid this place.

Dear Steven G., Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. However, we are a bit puzzled about the situation you referred to. We would love it if you would reach out to the office team so we can review your case. Hope to talk to you soon.
In the beginning to find a victim, everything is perfect, then the problems begin and if I had been here before renting I would have been better off. my first disappointment was when i had my car towed, when i had just moved some motherless neighbor called security who promptly called the trailer to take my car, (my car had the bar code and was in a free area I went to the condominium to ask what could be done and was directed to the place that had made the trailer, there I paid $ 1000 to remove the car, that money would have to give the other day to pay the place of my wedding, I went to the condominium and they said it was my responsibility, not convinced, has broken the glass of my car and the condominium once again said that it was my responsibility to stop at that location (location within the condominium), if this has not convinced you of the barge you will enter, my apartment appeared rats know what was done installed a playground for rat because never got it, I had to provide with money my result, except that the office is totally inefficient and silent regarding the maintenance in that case mouse called, emailed and was never answered. Now if you delay the rent they call the lawyer and make you pay, so be careful at the office. To finish what led to my abandonment of this place, my dog ??when someone passes him barks, because unfortunately he does not sing, so little can speak a stupid neighbor was complain that they were barking (inside our yard) and several times put little letter at our door. now if that hasn't changed your mind welcome to the woods
Property Manager at The Woods, Responded To This Review
Dear Former Resident, Thank you for letting me respond to your review. I truly am sorry for the cost you experienced for towing/storing your car, but this occurred because you were not parked in a free area but in another resident’s reserved space and they requested the tow. Once a car has been legally towed, there is nothing the office can do. I agree that there is nothing worse than having a mouse (or rat) enter your apartment, but as we discussed with you, leaving your slider open so your dog can go in and out is part of the problem. We are always willing to have vector control service the apartments and we can have them come out as often as needed; a resident just needs to alert us to make the appointment. Finally, while I know it is annoying to receive complaints from neighbors about a barking dog, this is a reality of living in a group setting; everyone needs to be mindful of maintaining the peace of the community as a whole. I do wish you the best in your new living situation.
We lived for two year in Foxwood village. Kept our place clean and careful. We were shocked to get a huge amount of charge while moving out. We lost the security amount and a huge amount in addition to that. They wrote a letter saying that they are scratches on the laminate in the entrance. We wonder which scratch as we had a huge carpet on that to protect that space for two years . I remember wiping those panels with Lysol just before moving out and did not any scratch on that. They did not provide any proof such as photos of the damage they are claiming. When I spoke to my friend who moved out before me, they informed me they also had similar experience . I lived in many paces in my life I never had such a terrible loss of money and peace of mind.
Property Manager at The Woods, Responded To This Review
Dear Resident, Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Deposits and move-out fees are always a tough issue as we are required to return the apartment to its original condition when a resident moves out. Sometimes this requires priming, painting, cleaning, or carpet replacement which is done by outside contractors. These costs are shared according to the length of occupancy. Respectfully, I viewed the photos taken during the move-out inspection and did see the reason that painting, general cleaning, and carpet cleaning were necessary. The charges for the scratches on the laminate entry flooring were less than $65; the photos do show them. Photographs of the condition of the apartment can be reviewed with our staff at your request. I wish you the best in your new community.
I have lived in this apartment for 7 years in various houses. For sure they put breaking charges for around 1800 to 2500dollars at the time of vacating the house, even though the house condition is good and without odor. Rent might look like cheap but they will dishonestly charge you for breaking charges. Avoid going to this apartment.
These people are cheaters. They charge you unnecessarily for every thing when you move out. They make sure that you wont get your deposit back by charging you for literally nothing. Worst apartments in bay area. It happened with me as well as two other friends who earlier stayed here. Better don't rent this place. Worst management ever
I will not recommend this apartment. These people are trained liars. You should be careful about maintaining team. When you call them and if you are not home . They will send you notices with unnecessary charges (lies) and you will be distressed with the entire cooked up story. We called them for kitchen sink clogging and they came and repaired. We were not home. We got a letter stating that we have to pay additional charge within 72 hours for rice in the sink. Culturally, it’s a highly negative thing to throw rice in sink for us. They told we threw rice that’s why this penalty. We are wondering then what is the purpose of food disposer. And how can they fine for this . This is totally unfair. I happened to happened to speak to my neighbors, same problem happens and they never got a charge even after cleaning the clog for multiple times. Why are they lying and taking charges whenever they want. The office staff is extremely rude. Please don’t move here if you want peace of mind and leaking your hard earned money through CHEATING.
Either the office staff lied to avoid conflict or they were consistently misinformed. Here are just a few examples: -Moving In: Just before signing my lease the leasing agent confirmed that my parking spot would be located immediately outside of my apartment unit. After signing the lease I am told that my parking space is well over 100ft from my unit, there are 6 other parking spaces closer to my unit that I could not have (including the one originally pointed out to me), and that my parking space is sandwiched in between a garage and a dumpster. My vehicle was broken into 3 times and was stolen once in the 3 years I was there. Weekly I was cleaning used diapers and half eaten cheeseburgers off of my windshield. -Security: After my car was stolen I was told I had to pay a $50 fee for another parking pass. Resident Relations confirmed that if I parked in the lot without a pass, then I would be towed. My neighbors had several vehicles that they parked in front of my garage, blocking my access, multiple times a week, and none of them had parking passes. One time I called to have a car towed and a maintenance staff member told my neighbor that I called in and complained and even knocked on my door and us confront each other. These instances occurred frequently over a year and a vehicle was never towed. Moving Out: I received a job offer from a company out of state and I called in to Resident Relations to discuss my options because my new employer needed me to move 2 months before the end of my lease. I was told to bring the offer letter in with me and submit it along with my 30 day notice to vacate and I would only be subject to a $500 fee, but I wouldn't owe any additional months. Upon turning in my keys, I confirmed with Resident Relations that I was current on my payments and I was told I would receive the bill for the $500 lease break fee in the mail. 3 weeks later, I received a bill in the mail indicating that I owed an additional month of rent. When I called into Resident Relations, I was told my request to break the lease was not approved and I had 1 week to pay the full month's rent. When I asked why I wasn't informed of this until after I moved out of the state I was told "There is nothing I can do" The Woods looks beautiful on the outside with spacious and well designed units, but the office staff are either trained liars or incompetent to a level that can cost you literally thousands of dollars.
While I have not lived in the Woods myself, I have had multiple friends live there, in different apartments, for two years now. There is never any guest parking, and I was towed after 10 minutes of being parked for a $500 fee. This has happened to two others who I have heard of specifically, but I constantly see tow trucks. They are clearly tow-friendly with no reverence for their tenants' livelihoods. The Woods is a jungle, it is gigantic and you can never find the apartment you are trying to get to. You will never be able to order pizza or call an uber because they will not find you. You also cannot play loud music or the cops will be called on you. The security leaves early on weekend nights, and my friends' key cards never seem to work so they end up having to drunkenly walk from the gate all the way through the jungle that is the Woods back to their apartment. DO NOT LIVE HERE. This place sucks. Do yourself a favor and find another apartment complex.
I live at The Woods Apartment Complex. My vehicle was parked INSIDE of my designated carport at the apartment complex. In the morning I go out and see my truck is missing. I tried calling the front office and no one is available until 9am. I later find out my vehicle got towed from INSIDE my carport because someone stole my barcode sticker from my vehicle thus no barcode was visible. (Which has been happening A LOT here). There have been a lot of thefts here lately and a lot of peoples barcode stickers have gotten stolen. Security is never around and I have often contacted the security telephone voicemail line to complain about the problems around the area and they do not react. I wrote an e-mail to the main manager and he finally called me back to tell me to get a new pass. I asked what about all the other issues I have expressed in that email and why do they allow the tow trucking company to go into my personal enclosed car port and take my vehicle. He said they sent an email out to people saying any vehicle must have a visible tag no matter where they are on the property. I told him I never received this email thus it was not acknowledged and accepted and why was there not a letter sent out to everyone just like the ones they post on peoples door when they want to come in and inspect our apartments or that our rates are going up. He said it must have gone to my junk mail. I have been here for 6 years despite of all the security concerns throughout the property. I have been respectful of the place and for others only for things like this to happen and be brushed off by the front office. Everyone around us has left after 6 months of living here yet we have been here for 6 years and get little respect or help. I do not feel having my vehicle taken from inside of my carport was justified. This place is terrible. Guess it is time to finally leave this place.
I've tried twice to contact this place for a tour and the leasing agent has been rude both times. Her lack of customer service has scared me off from even considering this place. If she's treating us poorly now, I can only imagine how bad it would be living here. Management should consider finding a new leasing agent.
Had there been a negative star option, i would have given. Old place, cheaply built place heavy price for the what you get. most importantly forget your deposit and will have to pay from your pocket while vacating. I saw the similar reviews but thought I will keep clean to avoid the final vacating charges, but trust me what ever you do these guys will suck your blood
The woods is a rip off. You pay them so much for rent to not even have parking. The staff is rude. The place is very cheaply made. And then when you move out they way over charge and even use a UV light to scam you out of even more money. Never rent here. I hope this helps someone avoid a head ache like mine. We left the place perfectly clean and they claimed we owed over 3,000 in damages. There's no way when we had it professionally cleaned before we moved out. Also they claim everything is brand new at move in and a complete loss at move out even if you only live there 6-12 months. What a waste of money and a waste of time.
Please do not move into this apartment complex all the money you pay in rent does not go into this apartment complex first let’s start with amenities the gym is a couple of treadmills and elliptical machines and no weights. When you use the amenities, securities are asking you for your residential I.D.’s that you are required to carry everywhere, or you are seen as a trespasser. The security guards are never doing their job they sit in the security booth, and they are asleep almost all the times, and they did not make me feel safe living here. I’ve had to go out and spend money on home security services because I do not trust the securities and homeless people continue to rob peoples house and securities nor management have any idea. Homeless people are allowed on the premises and people that don’t live here walk around smoking weed and are selling drugs to other residents. When you go to talk the customer service representative to get work orders
Every appliance and everything here is cheap. They get damaged very easily wouldn't last long. Finally the resident have to pay for everything. Everyone is attracted here by the so-called reasonable rent they advertise and the outer looks. Once you start living here you can see the true color. And everytime someone decides to move-out they charge them with huge amounts so that they can remodel the whole apartment "everytime" on your expense(with silly reasons).
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE Couple of issues with the place: 1. Very very old units, 2.Frequent thefts 3. Insects and roaches problem 4.Having an air-condition in the unit is a joke, doesnt works and the maintenance says it works fine. Above all, you say you are going to vacate , you are dead, a hefty bill comes up. You wont believe they charged me for the decoration sticker ( just a smal 1cm 1cm sticker) i mistakenly havent removed while vacating. FORGET YOUR DEPOSIT AND WILL HAVE TO PAY FROM YOUR POCKET BEWARE OF THE CHEAP RENT SCAM

When you go to talk the customer service representative to get work orders in your apartment, she talks to you like you bothering her. If you live on the first floor, don’t think that your patio will ever be clean because the gardening workers constantly throw dirt on your patio. When I brought it up to management at least three to four times they looked at me like they wanted to laugh. Based on where my apartment is at its loud all the time the walls are thin, and I could hear my neighbors kids all the time, and I can never concentrate on working on school assignment or work. I can also hear my neighbor having rough sex and domestic violence with her husband. The apartment blocks you from getting full wifi. The cable company told me these apartments are so old they have tubes from the first floor to the second floor that you have to run a landline and even then you are not guaranteed full wifi. So right now I’m paying extra money to receive descent internet in this apartment. We are being asked to leave because I got a dog to help me with my PTSD they only allow service but I only need a dog as a companion with that being said, I don’t think this complex supports veterans with disabilities. I also never understood why they have all the handicapped parking in front of the leasing office when there are about 400 apartments in this complex. Please do not waste your money do your research and get something better.
We lived in this community for 10 months. At first we were excited by touring this community. After moving in, things were not good as expected. Our unit was close to capitol express way. It was noisy all through the day. At night our sleep got disturbed because of the noise almost every day. We had an horrible experience during summer. It was super hot. AC is available only in living room and insulation was not good. as soon as we turn off AC, it was like in oven. Parking was terrible. our Neighbour was not courteous in parking. My car got damaged once because of neighbour parking style. When we reported to them, they simply said they cant do any thing. Last but not least, when we moved out of this community, they stole all the security deposit and on top of it they asked us to pay additional $125 for cleaning charges. They took $950 as security deposit for 2BHK. I would give 0 start for this community. But there is no option for 0. I would highly discourage moving into this community.
This is the worst apartment we ever lived in so far. They did not return any security deposits and asked for another $280 even we cleaned the apartment so well. The pictures they sent to us show no evidence of damage or dirty spots. They have already charged a whole apartment cleaning but they double counted everything! Basically they renovated the whole apartment using our security deposits. After the initial negotiation, they returned $50 instead of asking for more money, say that "there's discrepancy in the initial inspection." But there's more discrepancies and they refused to discuss with us nor to show appropriate evidence. Their staff's attitude is so rude. This is the most ridiculous leasing office we have ever been dealing with.

the perfect living enviorment, it is literally like a miniature village. A selection of parks and grassy fields, same with swimming pools and gyms, bus stop is right across the street from The Woods. Great protection with the friendly security that secure the apartments day and night. We also have our community garden and have community bbq's and celebrations in the lounge room. The beautiful tall trees and flowers are remarkably greatly taken care off, beautiful scenario, it indeed feels like I live ain the woods.
My wife and I have a 3rd floor 1 bed/bath apartment. It's 750 sq. ft. and it was quite a downsize from our house in Tennessee. It's been a nice place so far. My wife was initially troubled because some of the reviews we read on other sites weren't too favorable, but our unit came with a covered tandem parking spot right in our building. We don't get too much noise from the surrounding things (airport, train, etc.) and we can let the cool air in through our windows most of the day. We enjoy using the pool that is close to us on hot days as well. The bad things are that the basketball, tennis, and volleyball courts that they advertised are really only one thing. They have places to put up the nets, but the basketball court is not very big (only 1 hoop), and it's usually in use all the time. There is only a small wall AC in the living room that doesn't do well to cool the whole place when it gets hot. There isn't any light source in the bedroom or living room, and no fans mounted either for when they're needed. We managed to work around those, but they still detract from the value in our opinions. Overall though, it's still a good place.
Living in the Foxwood Apartments in The Woods Apartments complex is very nice. I live in a one bedroom with w/d and garage. Pricing is a little high but reasonable for now. They have security here at the gate and you need a code to get in. But theft still happens when you don secure your place. The grounds keepers are always on top of landscape and maintenance are pretty good as well. Over all a nice place to live.
In a city life where there's no time for family friends bbqs the woods is a place where neighbors come together to have fun. The staff is friendly. You feel safe and our apartment feels like home, not just a place to live but a place to come home to. The rooms have plenty of space n the view are spectacular.
We have lived here for two years and have found that for the amount of space you get, it is priced really well (especially compared to CA Bay Area rates going up the peninsula). We have a one bedroom and have enough space to have added our baby to the family last October without moving. The kitchen has more than enough space for storage. There are enough pools and fitness rooms so that it is never too crowded. There are playgrounds built into complex, and the grounds are beautifully kept. It is also near enough to the 87 and 85 so that, even though it is South San Jose, you can get downtown in ten minutes. The neighborhoods surrounding the area are lovely and quiet, and there is a Safeway 2 minutes away. Based on other apartment complexes that do not boast anywhere near the same amount of space and upkeep, it is the best I've seen price-wise. The one improvement is that sometimes the maintenance staff is slow to get to requests.
To start off this is a great place to live. It's gated and they require either your Woods ID or a special barcode to access. It has 24 hr. security/ locksmith, and the staff is friendly. Maintenance is easily accessible if you call early enough in the day they will make it out that same day to fix the issue in the unit. It's quiet and family oriented. The property is well kept, it has plenty of laundry washers and dryers (some apartments come in unit), it has a pool/ sauna in every "Village", and it's located in a convenient location! But with any apartment complex it also has it's downfalls. The train passes by the back side of the complex and the planes that pass by are abnormally loud, if your windows are open then you better turn up the tv because it gets a little loud. Parking is very limited, you get one space and then one guest spot. The guest spot is first come first serve which makes it very difficult to find parking when you get home late, good luck past 7pm. The most frustrating part of this is there are a good amount of people that either don't seem to have jobs or don't leave the apt. very often because they will keep their car parked in that same guest spot for days or weeks at a time and management doesn't do anything about it. You can rent a garage once one becomes available for an extra fee. Last I knew they were $75 per month in addition to the ridiculous amount you are already paying for rent each month. I am aware that rent is going up in the San Jose area and this price is within that bracket but they sure don't try and make it easy for a young family starting off trying to make ends meet. If you have company over be sure to get them a guest parking pass because if their car is on the property after 11pm without it, their car will be towed. For the most part this complex is pretty safe but my husbands car has been broken into 3 yes 3 times! Each time the theif took a significant amount of items, some were valuable but most were not valuable. It almost seemed like they just broke into his car for the sake of breaking in. I have seen a few racoons on the property. Once I saw two at one time, one was near the trash area and the other was climbing a tree.. It was a tad bit frightening being that my small daughter was running around outside at that time. My husband and I have been living here for two years and we would consider renewing our lease if the rent didn't go up $150 each year. I hope this was helpful, happy hunting!
Over priced for the qualify of the apartments. The materials used are cheap and break easy. The security is not good, they over look a lot of important factors such as non resident visitors that are loud in the middle of the night. The pools are nice they have 6 pools throughout the complex. You cannot pay your rent online before the 1st which is inconvinient because some of us want to get it out of the way and they will not allow it.
Great family friendly apartment complex with multiple pools, gyms and playgrounds. The different playgrounds are actually catered to different kid's age groups. Pool areas include splash pools for babies and kids. Very responsive and nice management - we have been living here for 5 years and love it. The apartments are gated and have on-site security which is an added plus. The grounds are always very well taken care of. The only slight disadvantage is the parking for guests. it sometimes can take a while to find a spot.
My Wife, our 3 year old Son and I have lived at The Woods since March 2015 and so far it has been great!!! Our Apartment sits right in front of 1 of the 6 pools that the Woods provides, but even on the busiest days you don't hear all the yelling and screaming of the pool goers when your in the apartment. Seems like the Apartments, at least in Edenwood, are very well insulated. Only reason I am giving 4 stars rather than 5 is because in the first month we were there we had a plumbing problem and it flooded the area around our washer and dryer, but they responded very quickly and everything was put back to normal in a couple days.
They have round the clock security in this amazing gated community. There are six pools and they have great workout locations. There is also a community room where you can get together with your neighbors and watch movies and games. This is the best apartment complex I have lived in.
The complex is nicely maintained and great playgrounds for kids. The apartment itself is old and run down.
So the complex is pretty nice the landscaping is actually very nice however the apartments are on the older side and my a/c doesn't work very well it cools half of the living room at best when I complained they did nothing about it's maintenance leaves something to be desired
Lose yourself in the Woods. Pick a pool, any pool, dive in and let the day drift by.
Nice place to live in, very clean, maintenance people always at your service, nice pools and gyms...parking sucks because its hard to find one near your apt but if you get home before 5pm your good.
The Woods is a beautiful gated community with a nice atmosphere and beautiful pools. Jessica and Yohki were very helpful in finding the perfect place for my needs and budget. Many of the units have washer/dryer in the unit and garages. The square footage is adequate and the there are different rate plans depending on the amenities. Give them a call and find your new home!
I wanted a home close to work with security, nice neighbors, clean environment and mostly feeling safe. I have found the perfect place where families can enjoy the pool area, recreation rooms, gyms and mostly apartment sponsored activities for the tenants. This environment is a nice place to come home to and mostly kept up complex. My experience has been great and wished I moved here years ago. Love my new home!
Apartment is ok in terms of security, but when it comes to inside the house, things are not good.Cockroaches are more. Window nets are not installed properly. Garage is small enough to accomodate a sedan but not a mini van which is tough to get van inside. In the stove, electric coils are not even, hence placing cooking-vessel on top of that is not seating correctly. Even if you have garage, additional parking is extra cost(for the apartment i stayed in edenwood).Maintenance call attending ratio is poor.If we book for any maintenance service , it will be fixed not immediately however it is a priority issue(like problem in electric stove) etc. Handing over the apartment to the new person, i donot think they clean and fix the apartment 100%. On top of it rent is very high, and keeps increasing fast. Schools are rated five.(elementary and middle school)
The grounds are somewhat well maintained, however that is the only nice thing to say. No matter how nice an outward appearance is, that cannot overcome the terrible attitudes of The Woods poorly trained office staff. The manager is friendly but she her staff is rude and blatantly disrespectful to tenants. I have only interacted with them three times, and each left me wondering why I moved here. The leasing manager, Ralph appoached me in the dark one evening and terrified me because I was petting a cat. He was verablly hostile and angry. After talking to several long-term tenants, this behavior is not uncommon by staff. I cannot wait to leave. If you like incompentancy and rudeness, this is the place for you!!!!
I really enjoy living here. The one complaint is parking. They give you one covered reserved spot per unit. Mine is a three bedroom so we only have one still. The other cars is a free for all. After around 6pm parking is a nightmare you could be driving around for 30 mins stalking people until they leave and you have a spot, and the spot could be all the way across the whole complex. Also some of the spots say reserved painted on them so beware your car will get towed! Other than that it has been chill living here. Some noise at night but it is bearable.
Beware! Rent else where!!!! They will find every chance possible to charge you for rent fees. They not only took our deposit after she cleaned the cheap low quality apartment from head to toe but charged her close to $1400. It seems perfect at first and after you sign you'll see the reality of it all.
I rented from them for a year and received only $137 of $850 of my deposit back, $500 of which was for replacement of new regular cheap carpeting-in a one bedroom apartment. Cleaned the entire apartment, the cabinets were as clean as when i got the apartment, vacuumed the carpet, but didn't steam clean it. The entrance of the home had spots from coming in and out which I just removed with a steam cleaner 4 months prior to my move out. Eventually by the end of my move out date more spots came back. When I left the apartment I cleaned every cabinet and door in bathroom and kitchen. The rest of the apartment had no spots as I had a baby and took off my shoes. As the entrance was the busiest, spots reappeared there regularly. Usually they cleanthe apartment after move out and charge regardless, so I thought they would at least bother to stem clean the carpets and just charge me for the cleaning the carpets. Instead they charged me for replacing the entire carpet. If you think they will return you any deposit for regular wear (no tear) of a carpet by the entrance which could have been steamed cleaned, say good bye to you money. They are known to do this to residents, just read their Yelp reviews. I am not the first one.
Had been in the woods for the last 6 yrs. Full of greenery all around. With pools, gym, play area. Maintenance services are really good. Just wish the school district was better.
