Save yourself while you still can. Wish the lease could be broken. Absolutely terrible. Management is a joke and never responds. Had to wait in the office for over an hour just to talk to one and still didn’t get anything resolved.

So my family and I moved in not too long ago, Courtney helped me with everything, she has been awesome since day 1. It’s pretty quiet for the most part, maintenance is pretty fast with maintenance requests. Parking isn’t bad either, which is a major plus. Like I said so far so good, I’ll update when we’re 6 months in.

I did an application online 3-4 weeks (December 10th 2021) ago online. I paid $150 and got denied without them calling my job for approval/verification after I uploaded everything needed for applying to the property. I called and spoke with a representative that works at the property and she was very rude and clueless about any questions or concerns I had about my application. I was told I was getting a refund of $75 but I haven’t received it yet. I tried calling to figure out what’s going on but I can’t get through everytime I call the number for the property. I called multiple times and get the voicemail, dial tone or someone answers and hangs up in my face. I won’t recommend anyone to do business with this property. Very rude and unprofessional. Bad customer service skills

I applied and submitted my application, payed $150 plus ...... they denied my application without me proving any other proof, they told me they would help me and expected a call.... they take your money but don’t want to help you out..... apartments look ok but not good staff

The review below can't possibly be true, unless you live under a rock. I have not met a person yet that does not have a problem with this complex. The office staff is clueless, the complex is unsafe, and not only do the owners continue to change the major issue of unfixed items in your apartment continues with each new owner. I have also lived in this complex for 6 months and continue to regret it each day, I originally though the posted reviews were from angry renters who themselves did not do what they were suppose to do, however I too have found myself with the same complaints and frustrations from leaking roofs, unfilled maintenance request, and theft due to easy access to the apartments.

Been here for 5 months already and this place is amazing, love the staff always helpful especially Lidio she’s awesome and always takes care of everyone. Great environment to live in. Highly recommended
We have lived here for two years and are moving due to safety concerns. Robbery is a constant threat, cars stolen or broken into there have been car jacking and a murder last December. The mailboxes were broken into and weren’t fixed for a month . All the crime info is available on HPDs website. Management has done nothing to help us. The front and side gates are constantly broken, the only cameras are on the leasing office leaving everything else vulnerable. I don’t let my wife walk our dog past 8 o’clock, very unsafe complex.
I have been patiently waiting for the Apartment Manger Brittney and the Regional Manager Eva to get back to me about getting out of my lease after I was robbed TWICE, had MULTIPLE BREAK IN ATTEMPTS, and have been WATCHED BY CRIMINALS AROUND THE COMPLEX!!! What did the apartment do? They sent someone to "fix" my broken door which is now WORSE THAN BEFORE. I sent TWO emails giving them the information they asked, called multiple times, have been extremely NICE and understanding, and STILL have not heard back from ANYONE!!!!!!!! EVIL APARTMENT MANAGEMENT!! Was told to "pay rent anyway" while they get back to me and I just found out theyre charging me a month to month fee of $500 more than my regular rent when Im trying to LEAVE AFTER BEING ROBBED!!!! Oh, and my LEASE IS UP, ANYWAY BUT THEY WILL STILL NOT LET ME LEAVE. They don't care about their tenants, there is no courtesy officer or cameras on the complex, so if you get robbed or broken into you're out of luck. They are impossible to get ahold of, and corporate will not contact you back if you try to go above them. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! DONT DO IT. You will regret having to deal with EVIL, HEARTLESS PEOPLE.
I'm currently in year 2 living here. And my air has been out for 4 days! In Houston summer heat that's extreme temperatures. I've called the emergency line 5 times and spoken to the office on 3 different occasions, as well as submitted a ticket online! I still have no air!!!!!!!
I've been a resident for 11 years, have gone through several managers and two new owners. The resent owners did a lot of upgrades to the property and I love the renovation they're doing to the apartments as tenants move out. I was I could have my apartment update... but I'm thanks to the manager Brittany for painting my kitchen & entrance way. Thornbury is a great place to live, we have a wonderful manger, the office staff is very professional, and maintenance response time is fast. Keep up the good work!!!!!
The new Management sucks employees take bribe. There is no management structure every time you go to see manager either he or she is on vacation or a new manager is there. Had to rate 1 because there is no 0 or negative review.The management when signing a lease asks everyone to put a review a positive review online once you rate and review them it's over then. One of the other way for them to ignore you is by flagging your review or telling you that your email address is not in their database and you are not a resident. Will not recommend this apartmnts stay away unless you like suffering.
Well, we are on our third lease now. Life at Thornbury is very satisfactory no regrets with renewing my current lease. Yes, rent has gone up with the new owners and that's how business is. Compared to other properties in the area, I'm very satisfied. Yes, parking is congested and how many vehicles are in a one BR? No problem with maintenance issues and priorities come first. If you had problems on ur move in date??? Please check the apartment completely before you sign your lease I SURE DID. Big problems here are: "gates" they work fine and are maintained well, till that careless resident/visitor bangs them up and they don't work properly. Please wait till they open "completely". Drivers forget to realize that they live in a apartment community and some just speed through the property. Issues or problems, sure they exist and if you don't get management (Brittney D) involved. You will be unhappy living here. Since Ms. Brittney has taken over as property Manager the service has been a A . She even answers the phone, previous Mgrs did not. The money is spent on the front office amenities. It all looks good in the beginning but then you sign and they've got you. Make sure you only sign for 6 mths. That way when you figure it out, you won't be stuck for a year or longer. Ask how parking is after 8pm and compare it with how it actually is. Some of the reviews are typed by the leasing office staff. All units don't have granite counter tops but you will pay the same. Property is over priced. The parking at night will really trip you out!
I love my apartments. The view out my window is amazing. The service I get once I call for help on anything wether it be the dishwasher or the furnace I love it all thornbury heaven ??????????
I am really pleased with how the apartments look, very spacious. From apartments that I have lived before this are really nice, and surely bigger. The pool is nice, and the garden as well. After the construction, they have remodeled the apartments,and now look more luxury than before. In terms of acomodations, space, and looks this apartment are a perfect match for anyone who would like a big place. It even has bigger rooms than a 2 floor luxury house would.
The main building is designer beautiful. The apartment complex is in a great location, convenient to area eateries, shopping, gyms, etc. The price is a little high but the good has to out weigh the bad, right? Wrong. I have been here a month and wish I never signed that lease. The apartment was not ready on our move in day, our a/c was not working properly for the first 3 weeks, the maintenance crew has not been out to fix any of the things we reported wrong on our move in sheet. The lack of communication amongst the office personnel, the tenants and other property staff is non existent. Judging by what other tenants say in passing, this has been going on for awhile. I wish someone would have wrote an honest review of this place BEFORE I signed the lease. Needless to say, I will not be renewing when the year is up.
Beautiful apartment and it's affordable! I love the woodgrain floors and open floor plan. The fitness center is open 24 hours and it's well kept. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to live in the area.
It's a nice complex, not too far from restaurants and malls and downtown. There are some renovations going on to improve the property so hopefully it will continue to maintain a great status.
I have been living in Thornbury apartments for 4 years going on 5 and I have seen much improvement within the last year!! New management has completely renovated everything from the front office and "clubhouse" to the exterior of the apartment buildings and now working on the interior. They have added a pool table in the clubhouse and grills outside at the main pool making this a fun summer time hangout spot for me and my family. They have completed re-painted all of the buildings. My building used to be a weird dark sand color and they have now painted it a nice dark forest green. They have brought in landscapers to build beautiful scenery around the property. I look forward to inviting people to my apartment and sharing the beauty of the property. Definitely recommend this apartment complex!!! Only bad thing so far is that parking is not so good while the people working on the exterior of the buildings are here.

I just began my rental with this property. I am very familiar with the area, so it all boiled down to who offered the most bang for my buck. Well clearly Thornbury won that. It's a very nice property, awesome service from the people in the leasing center... Maintenance department could probably use a couple extra bodies and the pools could be better maintained but all in all I am definitely enjoying this, as well as my family.
