Uptown Houston comprises the area east of Interstate 610 between I-10 and I-69, a large swath of the city that blends the relaxed pace of the suburbs with urban glitz and energy. One of the area’s most famous attractions is the stunning Galleria, the largest shopping mall in Texas, which employs thousands in its high-end boutiques. Nearby, a thriving dining and entertainment district supplies the neighborhood with an eclectic variety of off-hours attractions. The sprawling Memorial Park sits right across the highway, and locals love to stroll through the Houston Arboretum and hit the links of the Memorial Park Golf Course.
The local housing market ranges from single-family homes to high-rise condominiums, with many surprisingly affordable apartments in the mix as well; while the section closest to Interstate 610 and the Galleria tends to be more urbanized, most of the neighborhood is suburban in nature.

Property Ratings at Three Fountains One
Rodent problems! A/C problems! Insect problems! Mold problems! Doesn’t matter how clean you are. The rodent and insect problem will still be an issue.
The customer service is horrible at the front office when it comes to having troubles in you apartment. The Property Manager told me i get what i paid for wich is true but coming from her isnt a very good impression on us customers. They take weeks to fix an issue leaving you sometimes without a restroom for a week!
Love Three Fountains One Apartments. They were built with quality and space! Large rooms and walk in closets. Lots more square footage for your money than some of the surrounding newer apartments. Less bells and whistles as far as amenities go but they make up for it with location, price and size! Walking distance to HEB, shopping and restaurants galore! The manager has been there for many years. I like having a familiar face to work with when I have to call for a maintenance request or question. I give it 5 stars for price, size, and customer service.
While the staff for the most part is pleasant, there is still a lot to be desired. Since the complex is pretty old (dating back to the 70s at least), the amenities are almost non existent. The pools are basic, there's no security other than the gate that's broken 50% of the time, and lacks all the cool fixings and nuances which makes an apartment feel like home (e.g pretty interiors, curb appeal, permission to paint the walls, etc.). What I do like about this complex is the size of the units for the price. To be dead smack in the Galleria area, surrounded by luxury apartments, you get a lot of square feet for a fraction of the price of what your neighbors offer. (But you get what you pay for.) There is definitely a roach and other pest problem throughout all buildings, which will go unattended. I feel the "exterminator" just comes around to spray water and leave a note that says "Pest Control was here." Other than that it's quiet and a just ok place to live if you're wanting to be in a nice area for a reasonable price.
A family owned complex that is nearly 50 years old, but adequately maintained.
Serious risk and safety hazards throughout the facility. Bad water, bad air conditioning and deferred maintenance throughout. Mold and mildew in ventilation. I could go on and on but I hope you get the picture from just these few items.
