The largest city in North Dakota, Fargo rests on the North Dakota-Minnesota border and the western banks of the Red River. However, Fargo residents affectionately refer to their location as “North of Normal.”
You might find that Fargo is a bit different when you stop by the Fargo-Moorhead Visitor Center and see the woodchipper from the movie Fargo. Maybe it’ll be when you start spotting members of the colorful herd of bison painted by various artists scattered all around town, and rightfully decide to go on a scavenger hunt to find them all. Perhaps you’ll find it unique that Wurst Bier Hall serves a rattlesnake rabbit bratwurst and indulge your curiosity. You’ll notice that North of Normal is a pretty interesting place to be.
There’s no shortage of things to do in Fargo. Plains Art Museum and Rourke Art Gallery and Museum offer residents and visitors endless opportunities to admire art with all kinds of rotating exhibits.

Property Ratings at Thunder Creek
Apartments are a little dated, but they are fine, nothing special. You have to pay for laundry which goes for $3.50 if you wash and dry, and I would do two laods a week making it $7 a week or $28 a month, ouch. The staff were extremely frustrating. First we were given the wrong garage keys and then when we parked in the garage, they towed my car! Then they said we would get a new garage, but only, after 1 month of frustration and an angry email to management, did they finally fix the garage in order for us to use it.
Thunder creek is a good building. The neighborhood is decent for the location. The apartment I live in is a decent size. The amenities are ok. The laundry room machine use an app which has its pros and cons. I like that I don't have to have quarters but if your app isn't working and don't have a card you can't do laundry. If there are issues with the part of the machine that you scan you have to contact the company who has the machine not the office. The grounds are maintained well for the most part in the summer, the winter is another story. The sidewall and entry ways don't get done in the timely matter. I have not had to many issues with any neighbors. Every once in awhile kids will run down the hall or somebody will be blasting music but it doesn't go on for a long time and it's during the day.

For the most part, Thunder Creek is a great place to live. Very quiet neighbors and we feel safe. Only concerns would have to do with snow removal, residents parking in spots that aren’t theirs, etc. But the location and the apartment itself makes it worth it. I also like that our laundry facilities have never been broken (that I know of). Aside from reasons listed before (that have been addressed) we are very satisfied.

Thunder Creek is an awesome place to live! It has updated appliances, friendly, neighbors, and it is very close to NDSU!
A decent place that you can call it home with affordable rent that will include the amenities provided by other expensive counterpart. The management is very helpful and friendly in terms of understanding the concerns and resolving any issues. They genuinely care to call this place your home as well.
This is excellent apartment for college students looking to save money on rent but having a place you enjoy coming home to.
Great options for students! Fantastic location at a good price.
I absolutely would never recommend renting through Goldmark as their staff are unprofessional and management is impossible to make contact with.
I actively tell people not to rent with Goldmark because management is impossible to reach and staff are unprofessional
Fantastic location and a well-kept building. Their very friendly staff were available at our convenience and quickly answered any question we had. The move in process was quick and easy without dealing with many other companies.
Neat place to move-in. The management are welcoming and nice.
The management is so welcoming and friendly. The house is offered in a super neat condition.
In college? Want a place by NDSU? Want decently low rent? This is the place for you. It wont blow you away but hey, you cant afford that anyways! Thunder Creek will give you a place to stumble back to on Saturdays and is overall a solid place to rest your head as a broke college student.
Exactly as advertised. Friendly staff, clean environment. When my roommate and I first got here we both got a very hopeful feeling
This is a great living option for college students! Great price and great location.
The rent is doable and it's fairly close to campus, plus the units are fairly roomy. I really enjoyed my experience.
Easy move in, spacious apartment, great neighbors.
So far, so good. It is a nice property managed by timely and attentive staff!
A great apartment for college students, clean building, large floor plans
Good place to live for a good price!
anything that has broken has been fixed very timely, with willing workers! it is a great location from NDSU, and reasonable rent!
Thunder Creek is a nice place to live!
Thunder Creek is a great place to live. It is so affordable and has so many so great amenities available to residents. Located in a convenient location, Thunder Creek residents can have easy access around the FM-Area
Thunder creek is a high quality place to live for an affordable rent. The maintenance staff is quick and helpful. I would recommend.
Its a good place for the money. Nothing fancy but its college housing which makes the price even more appealing.
Thunder Creek is a great apartment complex and is well maintained by staff. I had no problems with move in and application for apartment. Overall I am very satisfied with the complex.
Clean, affordable, practical place to live. Close to NDSU main campus, friendly staff, great amenities, it's the obvious and best choice when hunting for an apartment.
Thunder Creek is one of many great rental options in the FM area. Many aspects of finding the right apartment are purely subjective and I will comment that it is great for the price. Objectively, the management staff is kind, responsive, and easy to work with. Sometimes follow-up updates on work orders are slow. 4/5
Thunder Creek is a great place to live. The apartments are well maintained, and whenever something needs work, it is fixed as soon as possible. The overall apartment complex is kept up to date and smells wonderful. As a first apartment for me, I highly recommend staying at Thunder Creek.
Living in this building was better before it was owned by Goldmark. The office people always seem uninterested or simply annoyed when a problem or concern arises.
Thunder Creek is a reputable apartment that I'm happy to call home and I value it highly for the ease of access to basic things such as the campus gym and grocery store. It is a must that you either enjoy or dont mind the sound of the train rolling by each day, personally it puts me to sleep. With a sound property management team and quality layout of the apartment, I'm confident I will continue to enjoy the rest of my time here as much as I have already.
Thunder Creek is a great community. The apartments are very nice and come with many amenities. The residents are friendly, and the staff is great as well.
Staff are friendly and fast. Apartments are not overpriced and in good location.
Thunder Creek has been a great apartment complex to live in. It updated and contemporary yet, still affordable. I like that it is close to campus but still in a good neighborhood. The management so far has been great to work with! Would highly recommend this apartment.
Thunder Creek Apartments is a great complex located close to the nearby college campus and the interstate. it is well maintained and the staff are very helpful. I'm glad we decided to to move here.
