Horrible despicable place to live. They do not care about residents safety. Toilets overflow , dishwasher leaks, everything is broken all the time . Mold grows in your apartment. Maintenance is a joke ! Do NOT waste your time or precious hard earned money on this useless slum.

I was moving across country in 2017 and had to quickly search for apartments online. I must’ve called 30 places and The Commons was one of the only ones to call back and speak with me. They were so helpful and informative I was able to do the entire moving process all while still in Florida. (I had family friends in Vegas who went and looked at the property for me) The moving in process was quick and convenient and mostly online so when I officially arrived in Las Vegas all I had to do was pick up the keys. I loved my one year here. Quiet neighbors, quick and fast maintenance whenever anything went wrong, friendly leasing staff, beautiful club house, very cute pool. Not to mention the Roman tub was my everything and I must’ve taken a bath every night. I traveled quite frequently for work so I decided to rent a room instead of my own lease but I would gladly move back into The Commons again. Never had a negative thing to say with my time there.

n January 2021 I will have been here 15 years. My apartment has become my home and has become a part of me. The apartment is in a very convenient location. Close enough to get to anywhere in the Las Vegas Community you may want to go. I have always felt safe and know that any problem will be quickly resolved. The maintenance staff is always quick to respond. I have seen many staff changes throughout the years. If you go and say hi to Zazil, Blair, Judy, or Renee - I guarantee any one of them will put a smile on your face. I am 71 years old, retired and very happy with my residence at the Commons.

I am a new tenant just recently moved into the commeons June 19,2020 I am very happy with my apartment it's beautiful. What I am really taking back about is the professionalism of the staff. Rene and Judy has been excellent with helping me with moving into my apartment. They've gotten my family members Apartments. I've earned $800 towards my rent for the following month due to referrals so they keep their word on the $400 referral. I think Judy and Renee are the best. The new Renovation are the bomb. My building is.very quiet. I've noticed that several of my neighbors have dogs but they all clean up behind their dogs. That was my main concern living somewhere where there wasn't dog poop everywhere.

By far the worst apartment and property management to deal with. Maintenance does not care that your apartment is flooding due to old dishwasher, cockroaches crawling in every day from a cracked balcony door, or bathroom faucet leaking water all day. Since there was no hope of fixing the living conditions I paid the penalty to move out before my lease was even half way through. Not only was the maintenance an issue but even months after I moved out from this place the apartment has still affected me. This place has a “tech package” included in the rent and when I was moving out the leasing office told me to leave the internet modem and cable box in the room. However, 9 months after I officially moved out I get a call from credit collector supported by Cox because I never returned my rented equipment. Not only did this apartment cause me random $400 expense this month, it has negatively affected my credit score. Cox says they tried multiple times to reach me through The Commons apartment which they failed to relay the message to me. Why do they even bother asking for forwarding address upon leaving if they do not relay on such important message for 9 months to me. When I brought up this issue to the manager Tiffany, all she really said to me is that there’s nothing to be done. Or her exact words were “it’s not like we can make the equipment and give it to you.” Obviously, that is true but she could have at least owned up to the mistake of her staff and offered some sort of apology.
I would like to start off that I have never missed a payment, made a late payment, nor do I bug the front office team unless it is absolutely necessary. Red flag number 1 was when my husband and I first moved into our apartment 2 years ago, we smelled gas from the stove, called maintenance immediately, they came in and stated they fixed the part and that we did have a small gas leak. The next day we still noticed the smell, they told us sometimes the smell lingers. I took it upon myself to call Southwest Gas to have them come check it out and they said we needed a whole new stove which the office team argued about. We did get a new stove but it was a much older model, thankfully no more gas leak. We should not have renewed the lease after that point because a gas leak is a HUGE deal and they brushed it off as if it were nothing. They have raised the rent over $100 the past year for our 1bed 1bath, we cannot get any renovations or new appliances without paying an additional $$$ increase in rent, we pay extra for a poolside apartment but there is no water in it 11 months out of the year. More recently, the above apartment had a water heater leak which resulted in our outside storage space caving in and growing mold (which I have pictures of). My husband and I are the one's who called the office to inform them, they fixed the upstairs right away yet took a week to redo the drywall in our apartment and who knows what is still underneath the drywall. We come home after a long day of work, it is 90 something degrees, and find that our outlets and A/C unit are not working after the drywall people left. It has been an hour since I went to the office to let them know of the issue, and nobody is here to take a look. This facility is a disappointment, but lesson learned. We WILL NOT be renewing our lease this year and we WILL NOT refer this facility to anyone. I hope major changes are made because for the price of a 1bed 1bath you could buy a 3bed 3bath home. The "renovations" here are a facade.
I am writing to inform The Commons Apartments maintenance at my apartment unit has been unsatisfactory. Cannot maintain a safe, clean, and hospitable environment for living, I had to ask to release me from my lease before this becomes a legal matter. There are many problems with the apartment unit, including the cleanliness of the AC air ducts, vents, hoses. Remove or change the AC wall tapes. Does not follow NV Energy requirements. I HAD request NV energy Inspection 07/2016. The past broken dishwasher and kitchen pipe leaks, cabinets are in bad structural shape,.These problems are major issues for me, as I had to clean up water in my apartment whenever the broken pipe in the kitchen. These problems are not only aesthetically displeasing, they also may cause health and safety problems for residents, myself. In June and July my billing cycle It reflect a significant increase. High electricity used due not appropriate, in time AC maintenance. I have notified management several times about these issues. As a tenant, I have a right to a safe and well-maintained living apartment unit. If cannot resolve these issues in the next months, I ask to be released early from my 15 month lease. So I can seek out a better living situation. Until now NO response from Manager. Reviewing the Nevada State Health & Safety Code NEIGHBORS !!!
Since becoming "The Commons" formerly known as "Camden Commons" this apartment complex is a disgusting dump. The new management is absolutely terrible and has let this place deteriorate within a matter of two months. The front gate that is supposed to be closed at 6 pm nightly has been broken open for two weeks, allowing anyone to come in at any time including solicitors. Kitchen sink backups are addressed by removing outside clean out covers and allowing sewage to pour down walkways and saturate dirt and grass areas. The dog run is covered almost entirely with dog waste that has not been cleaned up for three weeks. Tenants normally do a decent job of picking up their animal's waste but maintenance has not refilled the dog waste bag station in three weeks. The garbage in the mail room is constantly overflowing with trash covering the floor. Old appliances and appliance parts are left overnight or longer in walkways. Maintenance does not follow any appointment schedule for work orders or notify you of their intent to enter the apartment. For an apartments complex that allows pets, no notice of entry can lead to runaway pets. Under prior management this was a great clean community but currently all previous standards do not exist. Do not rent here.
I've lived here since for nearly two years now. Great location since I currently don't have a car. Makes it easy for me to go to where I need to get basic groceries, the bank, the library, etc. The ladies who work at the office are always kind. I enjoy my neighbors. The bathtubs are HUGE and wonderful! Only bad things are each time I renew the rent goes up, they require renters insurance, you pay for the water/sewer/trash, and the maintenence haven't always fixed things on the first try.
Have have very good experience with the staff. If I need to put a work order in they usually get to it the same day. they will work with me if I have issues making rent on time. the pool areas are cleaned and well maintained. they have occasional renter appreciation days with food and prizes. Close to public transportation and shopping areas and restaurants.
We moved to Las Vegas from Alaska and our new home away from home is paradise. My neighbors are very friendly and the staff is amazing.
We moved here from the East Coast, and have been with Camden Commons since January 2015. We have a 2 bedroom and the price is very, very reasonable. Great big Roman bath tub in the master bedroom! We have no complaints so far! The office staff is attentive and courteous, and the maintenance people address your complaints almost always in the same day. The office hosts resident appreciation events and things for the children during holidays, which is a nice touch. The pools are clean and the common room is always spotless. We have no issues with our neighbors (save for an episode of relentless dog barking that was addressed immediately), and everyone is very friendly. There is an issue with people not cleaning up after that dogs. That's a constant issue, but the office has gotten tougher about it. We are actually looking at other camden properties to go to when it's time for us to go back East. We are very happy with them!
First of all, I'm lucky enough to be in Henderson as opposed to being in Las Vegas by the strip. We have a gated community, parking right outside our place,we are snuggled in the back of the complex, therefore no foot traffic walking by us. We have our own landing entrance, don't have to share with anyone causing awkward moments. 2 pools open 24 hrs, fitness room open 24 hrs, tennis courts, huge clubhouse, dog park, plenty of guest parking and the most friendly staff. They make you feel like family, even if they don't remember your unit number. I've recommended co workers to move in here on 2 occasions. And that's just the outside. I have a pool table in my living room, and my dining room is my makeshift living room. It's cozy, but it's only my husband and I. We have a spare room for visitors and friends and a home office. Thank you for allowing me to brag about my space. Andrea
They are very family oriented and knowing their renters on a personal level which is makes living in these apartments very safe, and friendly environment.
