Tidewater at Salisbury Apartments

I have never encountered a more effective, efficient or truly caring management company. Ever since they assumed management here, they have met our every need and gone above and beyond to accommodate the ADA needs of my wife, whose now resumed recovery is completely the result of their generosity. I could not possibly recommend them more highly to anyone, based on our experience

Love it here at Tidewater. My apartment is bright and spacious, even for a one bedroom. Lovely views of the marsh. Great neighbors. Love the pool in summer. Very dog friendly. Great location near the beach. Overall a good place to live. New management seems dedicated to improving things. Cons: Landscaping has gone downhill. The grounds used to be beautiful. Now disappointing and does not look like a place of high caliber. Also need someone to walk the property daily and pick up cigarette butts, discarded bottles and other trash that a few “bad apple” residents leave around that is such an insult and degrades the living experience for those of us paying top dollar to live in what’s supposed to be an upscale property. Management needs to do more to either keep the buildings clean or ensure ppl don’t trash it. Other con: rent jumps over $100/month each year. But for that amount of money, make this an experience worth the price increase.

It's nice & clean & it is so close to the ocean!! We can walk all around and enjoy the morning breeze. The swimming pool should be bigger, but you can always go to the ocean.

Nice and quiet. Everybody's pleasant. Pet friendly. My childs schoolbus stops in property, not on main road, very safe, and comforting for a parent. Everybody's always willing to help, even in the littlest ways. Im thankful everyday that i chose tidewater for my family's residence

Enjoy living here. Quiet place with nice neighbors. Added security with Salisbury PD next door. Easy commute to beach and great amenities on site.

For the most part, living here has been very enjoyable! A great community with many amenities. I have loved looking out on the marsh and being so close to the ocean!

I have been living at Tidewater for many years. All of the staff are very friendly and take care of any issues that arise very quickly. The grounds are beautiful with all the flowers.

Tidewater is very clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and do a great job with keeping the grounds and buildings in excellent condition.

I cannot say enough how fortunate I feel to be living here. The entire experience has been fantastic. I toured the property about 6 months ago, the units go so fast when they become available, and was finally able to secure a unit with an amazing view. Tyler was super helpful throughout the application process, and Matt was so welcoming upon my arrival and made sure I remembered where everything was. This morning, I grabbed a latte and had my toes in the sand within 15 minutes of leaving my apartment!

Love the community, pool and gym. Maintenance is great and quick. Staff in the office is quick to problem solve. Only issue is traffic but that’s to be expected by the beach.

Tidewater is a beautiful place to live. The staff works very hard to make sure the inside and outside is clean, safe and quiet. Location is great 5 minute walk to the beach, 10 minute ride to Newburyport. If you don't have your own transportation there is a bus the runs hourly and stops all over Newburyport.

This is my six year at Tidewater. Life goes on with the usual amount of care by the kind staff here. However, certain things have gone by the rules wayside. Street lights still out, so called security gate still broken, dead or dying trees still in the ground and the one rule that was originally enforced, no belongings stashed in our parking spaces. It’s beginning to go down hill.

Tidewater is a great place to live, in a good community, great location with plenty to do. You can bike trails nearby, walk to the beach and explore the reservation or nearby sanctuary on plum island. We have a nice music and restaurant scene being in between Newburyport and Hampton. The on site maintenance team is great. We have amenities to enjoy living here is great.

We just moved in Friday/Saturday, but so far everything has been great! We found a few things wrong with the apartment within the first couple of days and expressed our concerns to the guys who work in the office. They have been so kind and have put fixes in place right away! I’m so glad to be back in Salisbury and hope that we continue to love it here! So far though it’s definitely 5 stars!!

Very welcoming community and very excited to be here full time in just 2 weeks :) We are so excited to be in such a great location and are looking forward to our first summer here!

Overall, it has been good experience with some exceptions regarding tenants who do not adhere to community rules and guidelines. This especially concerns walking dogs, barking dogs, tenants loitering smoking cigarettes having loud conversations late at night and in the early morning hours right outside the building.

Lovely location across the street from the ocean, friendly neighbors, attentive staff, covered parking, in home washer/dryer…a nice place to call home .

Can't beat being this close to the beach! And the staff here are second to none. People mostly keep to themselves but those that don't are always so friendly

Quiet, well managed, friendly neighbors. Happy to be here. It’d be nice if more attention to the landscaping was provided. It’s good that management is accessible and provides some resident activities.

It's a nice, quiet apartment. The view is unique. I don't like the pool because is too small for too many residents. Walking to the beach is one of the best pros for Tidewater.

Tidewater is conveniently located to everything I need. The cigarette butts around the property seem to be popping up all over the place.

Two observations; Every community has its issues, and living with many people can be challenging...however, please STOP touting this property as SMOKE-FREE. Smoking here is rampant and uncontrolled. The buildings reek of smoke and marijuana, there are cigarette butts all over the property, and as soon as the office closes, it's a free for all with people smoking in the parking lots, the garages and on their balconies. There is one resident here who has been openly smoking for the 6 YEARS I have been here, so the smoke free claim is a falsehood and your company just doesn't care. Each year we spend time signing countless pages of promises when we renew our leases, yet nothing is ever enforced. It would be nice if the barest of attention were paid to some simple to rectify details of the property. The trash on the grounds and numerous burnt out lights make this once pristine property look neglected. When I first moved here it was like staying at a resort hotel. Now? Not even close.

I would recommend this complex because it is so close to the beach and the porch is amazing during the summer.

There are many wonderful things about Tidewater --underground parking, washer and dryer in the unit, some wonderful neighbors, living across the street from the ocean.

This is our 6th year here...we love it. Timely maintenance repairs, timely and excellent cleaning crew, grounds kept nice even with many dogs living here, nice neighbors, very nice staff.

Everyone is wonderful there. I met Rick walking his dog when I was walking mine and he introduced himself. I think that's his name! Anyway he was super nice as is everybody at this community. I love living here. Neighbors are amazing.
