The Gulfport-Biloxi Metro is a stunning location on the Mississippi Gulf. The two distinct cities that make up the metropolitan area encompass three different counties: Hancock, Stone, and Harrison. While Gulfport and Biloxi are two separate cities, many locals consider the metro one area.
Gulfport composes the larger portion of the metro and is the second most populated city in the state of Mississippi. The city is a desirable coastal oasis, offering residents a laid-back atmosphere with plenty to do in terms of eating, entertainment, and outdoor activity. Gulfport locals enjoy the perks of paradise, including oceanfront views and white sand, as well as more practical benefits, such as easy access to I-10 for work commutes.
Ocean Springs is a popular location for Gulfport newcomers that offers walkable residential streets, plenty of quality eateries, and a rich culture of creativity. Other popular Gulfport neighborhoods include Long Beach and the Orange Grove.

Loved the floorplans, they have wonderful amenities. The dog park is so cute!! The office ladies seemed really sweet. I am looking forward to moving in!
Pretty good experience at Timber at the Bay! Management is great, and maintenance is quick and fixed almost everything.
Kim and Alicia were very helpful and kind. I went to 15 different apt communities during my trip to Biloxi and these 2 ladies by far were the most hospitable and helpful. They even invited me to their resident event. No other apartment staff made me feel so welcomed.
It’s a great place to live. Any issue that I have had has been resolved in a timely manner and with consideration for me as a resident.

Went for a tour and Kimberly was our guide. She’s been at this property for 5 days and is super knowledgeable. If she didn’t have an answer to one of my questions she got someone to get them answered for us! The property was quiet and clean. The model apartment was quaint and fits all of our needs! Super thankful for Kimberly and Timber at the bay properties!

Of the dozen or so apartments we visited today, Timber at the Bay was the only apartment that had people on site who were ready to give us a unit tour. Alicia enthusiastically lead us through the downpour to see not one but TWO different units. I'm beyond pleased with how polite and informed she was. This was perhaps the best first impression of a leasing office I've had in all my time renting.

What a sweet shout out to our hardworking team! Thanks for the recognition. We'll definitely keep up the five-star service.
My bf has lived here for 2 years now. After 4 months of living here there was sooooooo many roaches literally you could not do anything without seeing roaches. They were all in our microwave and even dishwasher. I always kept the house clean bc we have two babies. Idk where the roaches came from but after it getting so bad and it was about month 10 of living there the pest control men came ONE time after he and his mom complained about it several times. And when they did come my daughter was laying in her crib he didn’t care he kept spraying literally by her crib all under her crib. She was only 3/4 months. Before he even started spraying I said I’ll get her we’re about to leave he ignored me and kept spraying he sprayed her teddy bear and shoes that were by the door. He literally only sprayed the bed room we had to beg him to come back and spray the rest of the apartment. There are also cracks by the front door where big and rats could come through we had to move. It’s disgusting there. The neighbors do not care about their dogs not being on leashes! The dumpsters get over full so much I think it’s bc the apartments next doors get full and they bring there stuff to that one. I’m not sure. But honestly not worth the price that it’s up for. Honestly it’s not. There’s so much more wrong with the apartment but I hope you guess get the picture by now. Good luck if you do decide to stay there. I hope that this year they fix a lot of there problems and get on track. Blessings.
You will regret it. There is a revolving door of managers and maintenance which leads to a lot of miscommunication and issues with tenants. There is dog poop EVERYWHERE. Hidden fees and did I mention management sucks! Corporate sucks more! The apartments are small with little storage. Spend a bit more and go elsewhere!
The managers are HORRIBLE! It takes forever to get something fixed. They only care about the property their office is on and they barely manage that one. The workers are by far the most INCOMPETENT people and they usually quit after about a month. Go elsewhere!
Ever since Legacy bought this complex it has gone downhill. Management is a revolving door. Rent goes up every year, with absolutely no improvement to the property whatsoever. They find all kinds of excuses to charge extra fees. You get charged a fee if you don't pay your rent online through their website. Work requests take forever! It took a year to fix my AC! I had to beg for a window unit. While the laundry room that is almost always empty has had one all summer! Machines in the same laundry room are often broken, but they don't take responsibility for that either, as you have to call a separate company whenever there is a problem. Ever since they removed the dumpster from the southwest corner of the property there is garbage everywhere, while the remaining dumpsters are often overflowing. But don't get caught leaving your garbage on the balcony/patio, that's a $50 fee. Yet we now have to pay for garbage pick-up. The court yard and south side of the parking lot flood every time it rains. Management dictates the terms of your renter's insurance so they can take shortcuts with their own, charging $50 every month you don't comply. Despite their referral program I would not wish this place on my enemy! I can't wait till my lease is up, I WILL NOT be renewing!!!!
Terrible ma mangement. I had a contracted hired by the "manager" to fix a maintence request and was given the run around. To make matters worse the people would barge into my home while I would be in the shower or getting ready. My husband is deployed and safety is an issue that manamegment doesn't seem to give a care about. Once I told management she sided with her contractor. 4 staff changes and these people are the worst especially both "property" managers. Disgusted living here.
The apartments you see from Pass Rd. (at 710 where the office is) look beautiful from the outside...except all the algae or mold on the vinyl. You go to the office and look to get one of these apartments and they stick you in the property next door instead. My experience is with these ones (the yellow buildings found at 820). Management has changed 4 times since I lived here and rent has gone up twice. If you have a maintenance issue, expect them to get right to you but then make garbage excuses about how nothing is wrong. The property has termites, roaches, wasps, and ants--get used to that. The women currently in the office have an extremely bad attitude once you move in. These apartments were built in the 80s. Since then, a few air conditioners have been replaced, but mine has not. In an upstairs unit you can expect to pay $250 a month for power from April-October if you run your a/c at a modest 78 degrees. I called Mississippi Power to see if it was a mistake the first time. I asked the a/c repair men that frequented the property for awhile and they said they told the management all the air conditioners needed to be replaced, but were told just to fill them with Freon. Despite what some [seemingly-planted] reviews say, this is not a quiet area. You are right off Pass Road so there are sirens all morning and night. Neighbors blast rap music with booming bass in their cars as late as 2 am! There are frequently domestic disputes going on in the parking lot and police are called monthly at least. The walls are VERY THIN, and you can hear everything your neighbors are saying as if they were in the room with you. My car has been broken into at least twice. There are lots of homeless men in the area and shady characters that do not live in the complex but hang out anyway. Parents do not watch their little kids and they play outside screaming for no reason whatsoever. The apartments are decent sized. The closets are great. The balcony is plenty big for a couple chairs and a table. I have never run out of hot water while taking a shower. The cons, by far, outweigh the pros of these apartments. If I could go back and warn myself, I would never have moved here. Leaving as soon as my current lease ends.
For the first half of my lease, I loved my place and never had any concerns. The second half became a constant battle with bugs, from termites to cockroaches. The owners claimed they had handled the issues, but obviously not. Beautiful apartments, but not well kept. Also, went through several management changes while I was living onsite.
Love the school district. Pets welcome very spacious. Looks quiet & peaceful
My wife and I recently moved to Gulfport, MS into the Legacy of Gulf Pointe Apartments and have been loving every minute. The staff is really friendly. If anything breaks or needs repair they will fix it within hours. You can tell that they really put a lot of effort in making these apartments the best. We have very nice carpet in the living room and bedrooms. Our kitchen and bathrooms have floating vinyl wood floors. It is a very quiet area and only a mile from the beach. The rent is really affordable. We are paying almost $200 less than the horrible apartment we were living in Ridgeland, MS
I've only been here around 7 months, but I do like what I've seen. Trouble calls are taken care of quickly. The neighborhood is nice and the apartments are nice to. Though as a contractor I do notice the little things during the construction that could have been better. I feel like the crew that did the finish work cut some corners. But over all the place is great and hassle free.
I have been waiting on Ms. Mary to contact me back. When every I call she always tells me that she is faxing my information and she will get back to me at the end of the day, This last time she told me that is going on two weeks now. I am looking else where now.

Good Afternoon, I apologize for the waiting you've endured at Legacy at Gulf Pointe. Are you sure this is the correct community you are trying to get in contact with? We don't have a Ms. Mary on staff at this community. We'd love to help you in any way we can if you'd like to get in contact with Rhea our Community Manager. Thanks so much!
