Love that they are pet friendly place. Apartments are spacious. Maintenance always fixed things fast. The office staff was always friendly and greeted you will a smile. Will miss living there. Would rent again from here if in need of another apartment.

Good things, great location, not bad price, personnel is friendly and nice. Bad things common areas are a disaster there is trash and dog waste everywhere. The apartments are old and worn. Only the display ones are fixed to look nice. The intercom in our apartment doesn’t work if we or anyone we know press it we don’t Know they are there. Nor can we let them in. Worst part is that it seemed like it was wired to someone else Inter come as we where getting buzzed at midnight. They have a laundry room. The apartments with washer and dryer are rare and booked already in advance. And the comunal dryers don’t work that will had to spend extra money drying my clothes. Every winter mold gets on your window area as they are all single pane. I have to use bleach all the time. About the dog poop have gone to management to complain and they just ignore the problem and say they know about it. It’s just sad.

Apartments are spacious, with a layout that makes it feel like a home not an apartment. Very welcoming of pets and children. Management is very personable and was very quick with even the smallest repairs. The Parking lots aren’t assigned spots but we never had any issues with being close enough to the door. I’ve lived here on and off for about 3 years now, 2 separate apartments and don’t have any complaints

Any concerns regarding the appartment, they will address it right away. You don’t need to worry about making a follow up. I had problem with blinds, cabinet and facucet. They fixed it right away! Manager’s office staff are awesome! Maintenance people are the best!

Timber Cove are the best apartments in Decatur! No where else are you going to find the amenities they offer. Cable included in my rent is 1 of my favorites. Each building has a laundry room or you can pay a little extra to have your own in your apt. They're always making improvements. Like 1 day I came home and they had replaced all of my ceiling lights with brighter, energy efficient bulbs free of cost. Plus, I really like that at least once a month the office has a fun activity or even a quick breakfast & coffee day. Also, we're right next door to Scovill Zoo. When I babysat for my cousin I'd take her kids over to play on the playground!

The apartment we live in a two bedroom apartment and it is great! There is plenty of room for us and our feline friend. It's also great when we have guest over because the living room is spacious. During the summer months the AC is Awesome as well as during the winter months the Heat is amazing! There's so many great amenities and all the staff members are very friendly! -K.Harbaugh

We have lived here for a year now and have already signed on for another year! The staff members are friendly, super helpful, and very responsive. We haven't had any major issues or concerns. Our neighbors are respectful and quiet. It's a great place with many amenities for a young couple or individual just starting out living on their own. Timber Cove Apartments is a prefect place to raise a family. From the nature aspect that surrounds this peaceful complex, to the convenient placement to local shops and stores, you will fall in love with the community that makes this place what it is. The office has many amenities to carter to what you need. Computers, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a warm and friendly staff to help with whatever you need. When you take a walk around the area you will discover how much this apartment complex loves animals. I can't tell you how many dogs I have seen since I have moved here last summer. The residents are super polite and helpful. One of my neighbors is always willing to help carry bags in for me if my hands are full after i get back from the store. Another has helped let me back into the building when i forgot my key. The apartments themselves are spacious and clean. The views from the windows will be a major selling point if you get an apartment in the back along the lake. Nature surrounds and engulfs this place and it makes people forget that they are in the middle of IL. There is a pool and grilling area for BBQ'S during the summer. Maintenance is always friendly and get the job done whenever you ask, when you ask. During the holidays, the office always throw parties for the residents of Timber Cove. From a Halloween bash to a Christmas fest, you will never be bored. Overall, I am very impressed and I plan on living here for a long time.

My boyfriend and I have lived here with our dog for a little over 3 months and we really like it. We both were not very familiar with the Decatur area when we moved, but when when we came to view apartments this was by far our first choice. The apartment itself has a great layout and new carpet was installed prior to us moving in. We have had a couple issues with out front door and then some water in the bedroom, but both problems were resolved very quickly and to our satisfaction. The dog park could be bigger, but it is nice to have a place to let the dog off the leash as she's still a puppy and needs somewhere to run. They also have ample grass for walking as well as receptacles with bag and bins for waste. New washers and dryers were installed last month and they work great. Front office and maintenance workers are so nice and eager to help. The whole complex is tucked away in a neighborhood right by the lake, it's very quiet and feels very safe. We love it here!

We have lived at Timber Cove for approximately 6 months and we love it here. The staff is very friendly. The maintenance Team is Wonderful. Everything here is great are apartment is wonderful. Are neighbors are very friendly and nice from day one. We love living at Timber Cove !!!

Very nice place to live. I have been here for about 6 months and have enjoyed most of the time. They just updated the washers and dryers and it is usually fairly quiet which is nice.

We have lived here for a few months now and LOVE it. Brittany is always super friendly when we come in or call the office. Crystal showed us the apartments and she was very knowledgeable - she has been working and managing the property for over 10 years. It's nice to know that it's real people managing our complex and not just some "corporate" outfit that just looks at you as a check number. The entire maintenance staff is really friendly and responsive. I had a problem with some closet doors the day after we moved in and it was repaired in a couple hours and we have had NO ISSUES since then. We love it here and can't wait for our friends to move in this fall.

So far so good with Timber Cove Apartments. From the moment we walked in we was greeted by Britney and Crystal. We looked at nice and beautiful apartments and a wonderful property and staff. The property is very secure and maintained and everyday you can tell they care about their residents and property. From preventive maintenance to pest control. They worked with us on are needs and wants and they made sure are apartment was up to are standards. And they gave us a wonderful deal and price for are apartment. Timber Cove is Wonderful.

This apartment complex is good for those who want some amenities, but also need affordability. The staff here are lovely and always happy to help. Pets are allowed with a deposit! There is a pool, a community garden and they have community events every so often. There is also a fitness center on site, but it's only open during office hours.

I moved in here with my wife back in October 2014 and I would not move anywhere else. I would recommend this apartment to anyone. These apartments are clean with central air and cable is included. We have a swimming pool and we are located right on the lake. It is so quiet here and the building is all security but you really do not need that here. No drugs or violence goes on at all in this area and we also live right next door to the zoo. That was our dream come true since we are animal lovers and on Thursdays the zoo offers a free day. We are both disabled and live on a very limited income but living here is ideal for us. I recommend these apartment for anyone who loves to live on the lake and wants to take advantage of free swimming where you live. There is also a grilling area with tables for you and your families to have a good time.

Timber Cove is a great place for people just starting out, all appliances are free and the only bill we are paying for is electric.
