Property Ratings at Timber Creek 80
If you have company over, yes parking may be first come first serve. However that rule does not apply for guest! They need to have a designated guest parking OR make people with multiple cars park at least one in their garage. Snow removal could be better, but again they never put out when they will be coming so no one can move cars and when they do they move to a plowed spot. They have in lease agreement that all cars must be registered but there has been one sitting with no tags since JUNE. We're coming up to August. The apartment is great inside, don't expect anything better than an older style washer and dryer, that are not energy efficient. Up side no water bills. But you'll make up for that payment with electric bills. Most units only have one AC wall unit and to cool house down you'll need about 10 fans to push the cool air through in summer months. Overall I love it here. But can we fix the parking issue ??
The only negative thing I have to say is that it’s hard to find space to park your vehicle in the lot when you come home at the end of the day. The lot will usually be filled up with unregistered guest vehicles and we often find that we have to park somewhere else inconvenient or on the grass. It’s frustrating as a two vehicle family because we use the provided garage space for one vehicle and rely on the parking lot for the other. Most tenants don’t use the garages for parking their vehicles so there aren’t a lot of spaces left to park in in the first place.
The apartment seemed new when I first moved in. They updated light fixtures and new carpet everywhere, as they do every time before someone moves in. Even offered to install a ceiling fan in the bedroom of my choice before I moved in. Maintenance staff has very quick turn around. I stopped into the property office to request a few minor things and since someone from the maintenance staff was there at the same time, they came right over and took care of those things immediately. The grounds are nice and they take great care of them daily.
Having a small dog (18 pound American Eskimo 9.5 years old) I found it difficult to find an apartment in my area that allowed not just pets, but small dogs. Working with my landlord Laura, and the maitanence guy, Art, I found a great experience at Timber Creek and rate it 5 stars. Here is why: Responsive maitanence man. Art USA one of a kind guy and genuinely wants to ensure all tenants have ANY issues dealt with immediately. He strives to ensure all tenants have a pleasant experience and is just an all around great guy to deal with. Laura, the manager of the complexes (and there are a lot) is just another lovely gal. She responds to emails and phone calls right away, making sure to go above and beyond as a manager. It is great that AHMC properties has an easy to pay rent website, with minimal issues with their website. The option for Auto Pay is great for tenants. The campus is beautiful. There is a courtyard for the dogs and kids to play (including dog waste bags station and a dog park-like atmosphere), the campus is large to accomodate 1-3 bedroom apartments. I love my 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath that has been recently updated with new carpet, flooring and some fixtures. There is ample storage space and room to bring your own stand-alone cabinets. The garage fits one car and enough room for light storage. Snow removal and lawn care are done within reason. Parking spaces are abundant and patio/balcony space could be larger. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend!!!! Thanks for a great experience!
The apartments are ok on the inside. Deffinatly could use some updating on the amenities. Old washer/ dryer. Lots of kids so lots of screaming being herd through the walls. Very hot inside, and electric bills are unusually higher then anyother place we have lived in the past. Hot water heater runs out of hot water easily, cannot run laundry and take a shower at the same time. The Main office guy is nice, have a hard time contacting him. Snow removal is not the best, and when they do, you are required to find somewhere else to park your car- but street parking is not allowed. Inside is nice and spacious carpets are clean. Having the disposal is very nice, and rooms are decent sized. Bathrooms are also decent sized. This is a place to live fror now . The neighborhood is nice and quiet, neighbors are not always quiet
We moved here from the inner part of Wausau and it is just so nice here. The staff is great! They keep everything looking nice and take care of anything that you need inside of your apartment. Couldn't be happier.
