Timber Creek

I lived at Timber Creek AKA "The Zoo" for over a year and it was a complete nightmare. I was moved in with an ex-convict and a 40 year old man with schizophrenia and a chihuahua. The dog barked every night at 2am and one of the roommates would let homeless people spend the night in the living room. If you have a college kid or are of college age, DON'T LIVE HERE.

I recently moved into Timber Creek and I was so excited to move in! Timber Creek is all and more, if it's hot and you want to take a swim or if socks are all you have that's clean, you can do quick laundry or if you want to just relax on your patio and enjoy Chico. All these options are available to you , at an affordable price! Timber Creek definitely makes the transition to Chico , an easy one !

This is currently my second year living at timber creek and I love it! The apartments are a good size for college students transitioning from home or dorm life. Sometimes there are problems because the apartments are so old but the staff here does an excellent job helping is out with any complications. There is a pool and spa that my roommates and I absolutely love going too. They also provide computers and a study room for college students which I think is fantastic. Living here has been the best!

Overall I do like my apartment, my room is a good size with a good amount of closet space, the ability to fit a full sized bed with a good sized desk and dresser comfortably and still have room left over. The living room area can fit quite a bit as well. The kitchen however is a bit tight considering these apartments are meant to house four people. There really isn't enough cabinet space, especially if you have roommates that like to cook a lot. The refrigerator is pretty small as well, our food is very packed in, but we make it work. The apartment also has two bathrooms that are reasonably sized, one is bigger than the other but unless you need a lot of bathroom space they are just fine. Some really awesome things about living in the complex here is that it is walking distance to CSU, Chico, it has a good sized pool and a small workout room with some equipment. One last thing about living in these apartments is that they can be noisy due to all the partying going on around and inside the apartments as well as from the train that goes by, so if you can sleep with a lot of noise around, you should be fine. If you want a less noisy apartment I would suggest getting a place on the outside of the complex, but if you want to be around the party scene, you should get a place inside the complex and by the pool area.

I love living at Timber Creek Apartments. The people in the leasing office are always willing to help you with whatever problems you may have. Maintenance keeps the place clean and in good shape. Work orders get attended to in a timely matter and they check in to make sure everything is working great. Also, they have a ton of activities to get people involved and excited to live at their apartments, such as, the volley ball tournament, pie eating contest, Pimp-Your-Patio and Muffin Monday's.

Timber Creek is an excellent place to live. I have lived here for a little over a month and am really enjoying all of the great resources Timber Creek has to offer. There is a nice pool in the activity center along with pool and a full laundry mat. It's also only a 5 minute drive to Chico State if you are looking to attend a university. Overall this is a great place to live.

Timber Creeks is a very friendly environment, and great place to live. The people who work here are very generous and understanding. They make time for you right away and provide great and friendly service, helps ease the transition on moving in. The people who live here are equally as friendly and are social. The location of the apartments is ideal to the town, and very close to just about everything.

Timber Creek apartments is an excellent place to live at. It has a great maintenance team, convenient laundromat inside the complex, a clean pool, and security at night to feel assured you're safe where you are. The staff here is very friendly and helpful, there is tons of activities to do around the complex. If you're looking for somewhere to move in for the year look no further!

I cannot get over the sense of community that exists here at Timber Creek apts. Not only is management well accommodating to new residents, but they are proactive in maintenance, and security. I feel my transition, as a student coming to study at Chico, was easily done by choosing this apt. complex. And it can't get any better than free muffin Mondays. :)

Hi, my name is Cassi and I am currently a 4th year student athlete attending Chico state. Three of my four years living in Chico have been spent with Timber Creek, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Throughout the time I have been living in Timber Creek it has evolved into more then just an apartment for me, it has become my home. The living space within my apartment is perfect, the staff that run the grounds are comforting, and with their efforts I truly feel like I am apart of the Timber Creek community. Whether it be the volleyball tournaments, free breakfast Friday's, or just the well upkeep of the complex in general, Timber Creek has yet to disappoint me. Regardless of the atmosphere you are looking for, you will get what you are looking for here. Like I said earlier, I wouldn't have had my experience at this place any different. It truly has been a pleasure living here.

Timber creek is a spacious living environment full of fun recreational activities from pool and hot tub, workout facility, sand volleyball court, and much more. With such inexpensive accommodations and a 5 minute bike ride from school, makes it a ideal and heavily daughter after living quarters for local college students in Chico California.

This apartment complex is the best there is. From fast maintenance service, free coffee and breakfast or some form of meal every day, an on- site laundry room and more. There is also an array of convenience stores in the immediate area. Only being a few block from campus Timber Creek is the ideal location to live as a college student. The community is like a big family village, neighbors are always nice and welcoming in addition you are guaranteed to have an amazing time here.

When first movig into timber creek appts. I was concerned about living on my own away from home, but from the family oriented staff at timber creek has helped me grow as an individual learning who I truly am am learning the life's lessons of growing up doing something greater with my life. I wouldn't have chosen any other place and suggests other to come here and join the big family.

My apartment was clean and nice when we first moved in. The neighbors and staff are so friendly and helpful. Maintenance does a very job keeping the complex clean.

Timber Creek is a great place to live for many reasons. The staff in the office is extremely helpful and the maintenance staff is always ready to help out with any request. The pool and volleyball court is a great amenity with a lot of security both in the gates and staff.

Timber Creek has been a great place to live. The front office is very helpful and always plan awesome events to attend. They also serve breakfast some mornings which is a plus. I love the environment and that it is so close to CSU Chico. The rent is perfect for a college student. Overall I've had a great experience with Timber Creek apartments.

The apartment complex has all the amenities that give the perfect home vibe. The maintenance is spot on yet effortless. The apartment complex also provides doughnuts and coffee for throwback on Fridays. It is a convenient locality with all local facilities and services being within a walking distance.

When I decided to move into Timbers Creek, I as scared but the move in was the best thing that happened. I got to meet new friends, and also helped me focus on my life with right balance of down time fun and school.

This is a great complex with a lot of great people to meet! Living here at close proximity to campus is great too! I love that I decided to live here!

Timber creek has been great! Lots of social activities, reasonably priced, and close to chico state.They have on site laundry, a fitness center and a pool! A big thing for me is that they allow pets! A down side is that they don't have individual leasing. So worth it though!

Super chill apartment. Leasing office is always super helpful and willing to work with you when you have questions or concerns. It's close to campus and the people are friendly and everyone wants to be friends. It is also a gated apartment so that always makes me feel safe. The security guards are only there to protect us and make sure nothing bad is happening. COME LIVE AT THE ZOO!!

I am a first time freshman at Chico State and I am from SoCal (LA). The reason why I wanted an apartment is because I wanted to feel a little more independent and the dorms are way too small. Not only am I new to this whole college thing but I am also new to buying an apartment. I am ALSO 8 hours away from my family and friends so I am alone:( BUT Timber Creek Staff is BEYOND helpful!!!! They helped me find THE PERFECT roommates and they called me everyday until I found my roommates !!!! They make me feel at home. They have FREE breakfast some days (ie. tomorrow we are having big breakfast friday) The pancakes are DELICIOUS and they also have fun events for residents. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO EVERYONE. It is not far from Chico State. Also if something is broken, one call and they are there (24hr service!!) They have an exercise room, computer room (AND YOU CAN PRINT FOR FREE), POOL & Jacuzzi, Laundry room, Lounge room, and we have AC in our apartments (necessary in chico!!) I know timber creek has a reputation of being the "party apartments" but it is NOT that bad. Of course students party on weekends(no matter where you are in Chico, If you walk outside you will see a group of adult-teens headed to a party) .I am still able to study and get A's in my classes. NOT ONLY THAT , BUT I HATE BUGS AND I HAVE NOT SEEN ANY BUGS/ROACHES/SPIDERS/RATS ETC !!! I LOVE TIMBER CREEK !!!!!!!!!!!! I will literally write a whole essay about why I love it here.They are very helpful, loving and supportive. Also it is east to make friends.This is what college life should be like and I want to stay here all 4 years. - Marqia.

For under $400 a month, there's not much to complain about. It's notorious for it's college environment and a good place to be on the weekends. Granted it's not the best for weekend studies, but people are usually respectful. The staff is always super helpful and maintenance is on point. The pool and spa are well kept and the gym is super nice to have. A lot of the washing and drying machines are down, a lot of the time so you'd have to find your way around that. As far as the apartments go, they're roomier than I had expected. The bathrooms and kitchen have decent cupboard space. The closets are a little small, but the shelves and compartments are super convenient. Overall, living here is a truly unique experience in and of its own!

I have lived here at Timber Creek for a year now and I am very proud to call this my home for this year as well. Timber Creek's location is great, being that I am a Chico State student so it is only a 10 minute walk to school everyday. Also, Timber Creek management and workers are very professional and willing to help whenever it is needed. Would highly recommend for anyone who is a Chico resident and is looking for an apartment.

Timber Creek is a great complex for college students. The atmosphere is always active the pool is always going off. It's conveniently located to, just a short walk to campus and downtown. Timber Creek is great for the social types!

I couldn't have found a better place than timber creek! It's convenient for me and school! The bus stop isn't far for me to walk! They made it practically easy for me to get to school on time ! The living conditions are amazing! They give us great services at reasonable prices for college kids! They owners are nice and they are kind to us all! I love it here!

The community is great, our staff members are all helpful and really nice. I love the services here. We have the best service and help to be offered. It's creative how the complex was designed and it's beautiful. We love it here. I feel safe, happy, comfortable and at home. The best part is, is that there is a brightness here to be appreciated and enjoyed. It's a place where you can feel happy. Hot tub, Volley Ball Court, Pool, and a Gym with a Recreation Room: makes it practically the best place I ever lived. It's a luxury, and a dream come true, and it's worth it to experience a life worth living here at Timber Creek Apartments, Chico, Ca. I love this.

I have been living in this apartment for a month now and I am very satisfied. It came with little to no issues and when I come across a minor problem, timber creek is happy to assist me and fix the problem right away. The apartments are very decent size considering I live with three other people and a dog. The rent is at a really decent price as well for all the apartments have to offer. My favorite part is the fact that their is two bathrooms. With four girls in one house it is indeed a necessity. Timber creek is not to far from down town and it is walking distance to the grocery store, convenient stores, and a lot of cute restaurants. I love that timber creek is so involved with the renters. They offer volley ball contests, at our volley ball court of course, and fun activities like that. Also they give free breakfast on Fridays which is very nice considering we are all college students and have little to no time for breakfast with our busy schedules. The apartments also have a pool/jacuzzi , and a work out room which is take full advantage of. The staff make sure to keep the place clean by making rounds once a day to make sure everything is up to timber creeks standards. Over all this is a cool place to live. The apartments are complete and cozy and I love it here! I felt right at home since I moved here and I am so glad I chose timber creek to live for the next year

Timber Creek Apartments is THE place to live at, everyone is super friendly and there are always fun events the staff holds to unite the whole complex! The office staff are very helpful and not to mention, there's also a beautiful activity center and a volleyball court. It's a great environment to be surrounded in.

So far this apartment has done an amazing job. The staff are very friendly and are on top of everything. The maintenance is also fast and respond to any problem quickly. Also muffin Mondays are bomb as well as the breakfast Fridays. A list of things you can do on free time. The apartment itself is big and has been remolded for example new kitchen top, and repainted the balcony. So yea it is pretty fun and not as loud as rumor has it.

Timber Creek is truly the best space in Chico for students to live after transitioning from dorms. The community aura is powerful and inclusive, attracting even the shyest of them out to the pool, fitness center, volleyball court, or even community breakfasts with daily coffee! People here at Timber Creek know how to have a good time and will make sure everyone else does as well!

This apartment is a great starter place for young college students. I really love the location it is pretty close to school and the amenities are great. The only problem is the noise but it isnt always bad. Overall its a good place to live and the people are very friendly, I would recommend it to anyone in college!

Timber Creek apartments provide a lovely environment for Chico state students. They supply us with helpful resources, such as- computer/printing room, gym, activity center, etc. Overall, I truly enjoy being a part of this beautiful community. :)

I have lived in this complex for around 4 months now, I haven't had any problems with the neighborhood, the security patrol is a real comfort for me, I don't have to worry about anything bad happening around my place or my car. Inside the apartment I have only had a couple things when I first moved in, just some loose screws on a door hinge and a door knob. I wrote a work order out and they responded within 2 hours that same day and fixed it! The management is super awesome and nice, also very understanding. As a bonus they have coffee for you everyday in the office as well as muffin Monday and Breakfast Fridays! Very good especially if you're running low on time before class. The complex is also extremely close to Chico State Campus, about a 3 minute bike ride including traffic.

My apartment at timber creek has all the amenities you look for as a college student. AC in the living room, dish washer works great and the rooms are enough space for any students needs. The pool and beach volley ball court are clutch. The laundry room is never full.I would live here all four years.

I absolutely love Timber Creek Apartments. The leasing office is so informative, cooperative, and friendly. The security team is very helpful, and seems to be out to make sure the residents of Timber Creek are safe, taken care of, and happy. The maintenance team is so quick, and efficient and they are never more than 48 hours behind a work order! I live with 3 of my closest friends, and after living with them at Craig Student Living last year, I can honestly say that the best place for us thus far has been Timber Creek Apartments. We spend so much time outside at the volleyball courts, swimming pool, or sitting outside our apartment at the bench! The environment within the gates is so friendly, welcoming, and enjoyable. Everyone waves at each other, and invites everyone over for dinner, hanging out, a movie, etc. Our apartment is filled with so much happiness, love, and comfort...and a big part of that is because of how amazing Timber Creek Apartments are. Our apartment was clean when we moved in this summer, and nothing has gone wrong since the start of our lease date. It is wonderful being assured that no matter what happens during our stay in this apartment complex that we will be looked after, taken care of, respected, and treated with kindness is such a relief! We absolutely love it here, and would never hesitate to renew our lease! We will always consider this apartment at Timber Creek home, even years from now!

The Timber Creek Apartments have to be some of the safest apartments in Chico. Even though a majority of the residents are college students I never worry about my things being stolen thanks to the surrounding gates and the security guards. This apartment complex is a great place to live with lots of fun events for the residents with well kept grounds and polite staff. The apartments are well maintained and modern with an attentive repair staff. Look no further for a safe but fun apartment complex to call home.

This complex is perfect for any college student who is just moving to Chico area. You will quickly get to know your neighbors and the friendly community around you. Right in front of my apartment there is a huge pool and a large Jacuzzi that you can enjoy. There is usually always security around watching for suspicious activity so it does make you feel safe. What I think could be improved are the locks on the walking gates. A lot of the gates that require a key are difficult to open. Other than that Timber Creek also known as the Zoo is a fun community of college kids who all can hangout in their own community and feel safe at home.

How are you living, if you aren't actually living? The Timber Creek Apartments is a phenomenal place to live if you are going to school, or even working a 9-5 job. A community inside a community I like to say. Aside from the volleyball games on the weekends to chill our minds or water polo in the pool, or heating it up in the hot tub, Timber Creek makes sure you are living. It's a life changing experience when you have people rooting for you and you don't even know it. They provide more than the average apartment complex does. From having muffin Mondays to the study group sessions in the computer lab or working out in the gym or even thinking about am I safe? Timber Creek has it all.

My roommates and I moved into Timber Creek at the end of July and are so in love with it here! When we first moved in everything was so clean and nothing needed to be fixed. The security here is amazing, they walked over and introduced themselves our first night and always make us feel safe. It's a very social environment and everyone in leasing is always there to answer all of our questions! The rent is a very reasonable price for all of the amenities Timber Creek offers. It's located very close to Chico State and right next too a Butte College bus stop. Overall amazing and such a fun, safe environment!

Ive been living here for a couple of months now, and let me tell you I made the right choice by deciding to live here, its not to far from csh chico and the apartments are cute and spacious. The people that live in these apartment are really friendly and its really easy to make friends here. The best part of living here is that everything is nice and clean. Everything is not to far like the swimming pool , the gym, volleyball court, the laundry room and the activity room are all in the middle. The leasing office is really nice on Mondays they offer the tenants free muffins and coffee and on Fridays we get like breakfast. So if your looking for a place to live this is the place for you, come out and check it out. I promise you will love it.
