Timber Ridge Apartments is nice place to move in to being new to Texas. The Staff is great and very friendly AND they love dogs. Sorrell was the super awesome and very helpful when I came in to inquire about an apartment. I had questions being that I have never rented an apartment before and she was able answered all of them for me plus give me some place to go being new to Abilene. Thank you for the all the Help!

Anytime I have ever had a problem they have always been on top of it. The office management is very friendly and attentive and so are the maintenance people.

My husband and I have lived here for over a year and just re-signed our lease, when we moved in this place was kind of a disaster..the building was falling apart and some stuff wasn’t working but over the last year the wonderful office ladies and maintenance team have gone above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and have also done A LOT of beautiful improvements to the property. I moved here from SD very afraid of something new and Timber Ridge gave us a home and friends and I am forever grateful that this was my first home in Texas

Place is horrible. Apartment was dirty when we moved in and they charged us ALOT when we moved out to clean it. Air conditioner only worked part of the time. The rent/fees went up every month and never went back down. Made us pay with a credit card then charged us their CC fees which is normally part of a companies overhead. Would NOT recommend this facility or company. On a scale of 1 - 5 I would rate a -5.

Timber Ridge is awful, we had cockroaches all the time in the summer. We talked to the manager of the complex about it and they kept saying pest control will take care of. The pest guy sprayed multiple times and the cockroaches were still always around. The water was always shut off and back on constantly. They constantly had plumbing issues and pipes failing. The pool was closed multiple times in the summer due to having excessive algae and other issues. If you were to just drive through the facility you would see Gutters falling off shingles everywhere siding missing and falling off. The building are absolutely awful. Do not move here.

We lived in a 3 bedroom and loved having washer dryer connections, the pool and basketball court. Nice neighbors and office staff helped out when needed. Thanks Timber Ridge!!

I have lived here for just over a full month now. I signed a lease for this apartment while i was deployed in Afghanistan and if i would have known i would have had 8 maintenance reports to make in this time i would have gone somewhere else. The reports are split by 4 reports for my A/C, 2 are for their washer and dryers ( because not every unit has just the hook ups like their floor plans say online.) Then i had two minor bathroom issues. Due to my A/C not being able to keep my third floor unit cool, it runs continually. So i either have to basically turn off my A/C so i don't waste electricity or let it run and waste electricity. My first bill for living here in the first 2 weeks was 96 dollars. After discovering the issue my next full bill is listed to be approximately $180, i have brought it down from $280....If i could post pictures of all of the reports i made i would. As someone who works overnight the A/C issue is tremendous problem, i get anywhere between 3 and six hours of sleep due to my apartment making it to warm for me to sleep on work days. If I wasn't planning on getting out of the military in November and trying to save money I would be making moves to start leaving this establishment legally by the end of july. A/C is necessity in texas during the summer and they cant get it right, therefore i have a right to terminate my lease. The dryer thing is also annoying, although i signed the lease and agreed to have them, i asked if they could be moved before i signed. I was told they could not move them, sense it is on the third floor. My argument was that the floor plan says it had washer and dryer hookups and that i already have my own set. I figured i would just deal with them and maybe sell or just store my set. However, their dryer switches just keep falling apart. Everything would work good if the start switch wouldn't have to get repaired and if they fixed the switch in a timely manner. My second start switch break on the dryer happend on June 14th and it is now July 1st and they have not fixed it. I will be working with management soon to move them out or at least let me plug mine in soon if they cannot fix their issue.

While the staff is wonderful, and the accommodations are lovely, the company (BH Management) refuses to pay to properly fix anything wrong with the buildings. The dryer vents to outside are filled with lint (which also poses a fire hazard), and my biggest issue is the fact that I've been living here for 4 months and I haven't gone more than a week or 2 with proper working air conditioning. Especially with it being mid summer with the heat up at 105 lately, and my husband being military, all we ask is for working A/C. The maintenance staff are friendly, but are annoyed at how much we ask to have our a/c looked at. The company needs to invest in new units for comfortable living.
I just rented this apartment. There are so many perks. There is a dog park (so dog friendly), swimming pool, small rec center and more. My apartment is a good price with 2 beds and 1 1/2 baths. They even paint an accent wall for you. That is so neat. You can choose from 6 colors. There is a small porch that is screened in. Also, a wood burning fireplace. I am new to the complex but feel it will be a great place to live. Oh, and it is close to the mall, restaurants, everything. I may never move.
