Bordering the university’s main campus, Baseline Sub is home to the University of Colorado Boulder East Campus. The university dominated the northeastern corner of the neighborhood, giving the area a youthful, park-like vibe. Staying true to Boulder culture of sustainability, Baseline Sub has several parks, bike corridors, and while trails that weave through the Boulder Flatirons are less than 15 minutes away. There are multiple large shopping plazas, restaurants, and breweries directly north of Baseline Sub, so residents have plenty of amenities close to home. For more variety, especially with nightlife and entertainment, many residents head to University Hill and Downtown Boulder, which are both about two miles away. Although Boulder is known to have upscale properties, there are more affordable options available as well. When searching for your next rental, you’ll find houses, apartments, condos, and townhomes.

Property Ratings at Timber Ridge Apartments
I’ve lived here for a year and never had a serious problem, and all minor problems were quickly solved (<24 hours) by maintenance (heater malfunction and water pressure). The apartment maintains heat well, making winters a breeze. My only complaint is the price of laundry, sitting at $1.75 for washing and same for drying. Overall, the pros strongly outweigh the cons, and this is a great place to lease a single.
OVEN; From the very beginning, the oven smoked everytime I used it, and the smoke alarm would go off, despite the oven being clean. I finally bought a toaster oven so i didn't have to use it. They charged me for smoke damage, and they did not send a picture of that, and they would have repainted anyways. CARPET; There were pee stains in the carpet when I moved in and they refused to change the carpet. And, yes, you guessed it, they charged me for carpet, and the picture they sent had the carpet rolled up showing the stains on back side. PACKAGES;The clubhouse closes at 5:00 on weekdays and not open at all on weekends, so I hope you don't get home from work later than that, (like I do) and need your packages, because you are out of luck. MICE!; I put in 3 requests for an exterminator, he came once and set traps and NEVER came back. ICE REMOVAL, Please be very careful as the ice removal is terrible and dangerous. One step onto the asphalt at 5:30am on my way to work, and slipped on the very thick ice. Even the EMT's were slipping as they had to come save me. FOUNDATION: there were cracks everywhere. Maintenance would try to fix them, a few days later they would come back. There was also a spot in the living room where you could feel the cement slope.
Property Manager at Timber Ridge Apartments, Responded To This Review
Hello. Due to the nature of your claims, we feel it would be best if we spoke with you about these matters directly. Please give us a call when you have a moment and we hope to speak with you soon!
It's a low price for Boulder, but it's also what you get. Basically student housing, can be nosey and a little inconsiderate, but a good complex. Maintenance and management are very accessible and extremely helpful.
