Thank you for your review of Timber Ridge Apartments!
Do Not move in here. They will try to rip you off. There is no communication. Voice mails and emails are not returned. Grounds and common areas are not kept up. If you live here, document everything! Read all of the Lease because they will tell you things that differ from the Lease. They keep your security deposit for months after move out. Even after a court judgement we still had to fight to get our money.

Thank you, Kathy, for your honest feedback. Your review is concerning to us. I'll have the property manager follow up with you with a phone call.
My family and I have been living at Timber Ridge apartments for over 3 and a half years now. Things started out well under old management and have steadily declined since Sterling Group took over. We are currently going into our 4th week without a washing machine and no end in sight. We were given a stop gap measure of using another unit in our building for laundry. That unit was filled without any notice being given to us which lead to my wife unfortunately entering another tenant's home without knocking. No communication. Despite the fact that after 5 phone calls and a visit to the office I was able to find out that the new unit is on site, there is still no estimate for when this will be remedied. On the visit to the office I was told we would receive an email about when to expect this situation to be resolved, this was two days ago and still no email. I was finally able to get a hold of someone in the office today after calling 4 times. Gabe showed such callousness and disregard for me when I asked for a basic understanding of why there has been such poor communication in regards to this specific issue and issues in the past. He expects their previous terrible handling of an appliance issue to be forgotten when we are dealing with an issue much worse. He then raised his voice and told me I was being rude. He equated it to someone who abusing the waitstaff at a restaurant. No accountability on his end for how terribly they've handled any of our appliance issues. I am still awaiting an email from him with the corporate customer service line (I doubt I'll receive that). If you want to be respected by those in charge of managing the community you live you'll need to look else where.

Thank you so much for leaving us an honest review at Timber Ridge Apartments. Unfortunately, I am unable to see any of your contact information, please call us at (833) 674-1689.
Current tenant here wishing we would have never signed the lease. Communication is NON existent. There have been 15 entries into our apartment for “repairs” and we have no idea what is actually going on. We have been left without hot water or heat in december for over a day and recently discovered mold in our kitchen. all tenants i talk to around here feel the same! We wrote a letter discussing all these issues and there still is 0 communication. Try to find somewhere else!!!!
This place sucks. Maintenance requests feel like they leave the printer and go right into the shredder. Have had exposed electrical leads in our lights from the wrong bulbs being installed by maintenance leading to all the kitchen lights to burn out. This issue has been developing for about 6 weeks with no help. Our heat promptly stopped working just after an inspection for leaks and filter quality (questioning if it was even properly inspected). Have seen maintenance staff horsing around which doesn't make it seem like they have much of a back log of work. Communication is awful. We're treated like children with wallets. The full focus here seems to be renovating the place with new stuff inflated rent and new naïve tenants. If I was thinking of moving here I would give this place a year to try and get the ducks in a row. I'd recommend instead of replying to my review, to take that energy and work on addressing the issues I mentioned.
We just moved in a month ago and already are excited to leave. Maintenance requests go weeks without being answered (and even emergencies like no hot water have unacceptable response times). Pool closes multiple times/ week for "maintenance". My packages have already gotten stolen and even after buying an additional home security system, we still do not feel safe in our apartment (locks are not secure, shady activity in the parking lot, windows broken). I have personally cleaned, vacuumed, and shampooed the carpets in the hallway because they are so digusting. We have lived in many apartment complexes before this and many of the basic expectations we had for an apartment are missing from Timber Ridge.
The rent is too high for a place with such dirty common areas. The hall carpets are disgusting and smell horrible. There isn’t enough parking for residents. The trash dumpsters are constantly over flowing with trash.

They have a wonderful staff that is great on communication. I have been living there for a few years and I’ve had zero issues. Best place I’ve ever lived!

When I moved here in 2016, it was supposed to be a stepping stone for me to use to save for a home. But I have ended up staying here and it’s been almost 4 years. I love everything about Timber Ridge. I love my loft apartment, I love my location, I love the office staff, I love the pool during the summer time, the workout room is small but just right for me, the community is safe, any maintenance issues I’ve ever had are fixed same day. I cannot day enough positive about TR Wyoming.

Thanks for the great review. It made our day here at Timber Ridge- it's great comments like yours that help set us apart from the rest. We're thrilled to have you after all these years and appreciate you being a loyal resident. Don't hesitate to let us know if there's anything we can do for you! Happy living!
Apartments themselves are dated and everything is 'functional'. That's the nicest thing I can say, really. Rent is comparable to other places nearby, but still not worth what you're paying for. The place was livable for a few years, but once we ran into an issue with fleas, the staff was impotent to remove them. We had fleas infesting our building before we gave up and moved. The apartment complex 'paid to have them treated', but they were back after several weeks resulting in another very expensive vet bill and terrible living conditions until we found another place to live. On top of that they wanted to charge us $1400 to break our lease and escape the pests. The staff is friendly and great though.

Thank you for your review. We are thrilled that you found our staff friendly and great, and are sincerely sad to see you leave Timber Ridge. We wish you the best in your house! I'm sorry you're unhappy with the treatment of the fleas you've recently found in your apartment. We were first made aware of the isolated problem in mid-October, and your apartment was professionally treated just days later. Today was the first we've heard of the problem since and will of course have it treated professionally again. It's been a pleasure working with you over your residency at Timber Ridge. All the best!
I have lived at Timber Ridge for 2 years this August. Kara and Larry are wonderful and very accommodating. They are always willing to help! I love the pool and fitness center. My kids and I are counting down the days until the pool opens!!! We spend a lot of summer days there. They keep it clean and well-maintained. It is also in close proximity to restaurants and gas stations...convenient! Thank you for all you do!!
We loved living at Timber Ridge and would have stayed had we not bought a house. The complex was quite and clean. We had a garden style apartment, which was nice and shaded. We got everything on our wish list for an affordable price. Loved the central air, washer dryer, and garage. Kara and the office staff are professional and always helpful. All of our maintenance requests were tended to quickly. This was by far my husband and I's favorite place we have lived. I would recommend Timber Ridge to anyone that is looking for a home without owning a house!!
I have been here for a couple weeks. I moved here in order to be closer to my job which I had been commuting more than an hour to get to each day. There were some complications when I first came (when I came to get my keys, they told me that I couldn't move in yet, because my carpet was being replaced), but they apologized for the inconvenience and gave me my first weekend here free to make up for it. The apartment itself is very quiet. You can't hear others in their apartments. You get a garage at no charge, and the pet rent is more reasonable than many other places. I've had a few maintenance issues, but they are quick to send someone. For all issues, I received assistance within 24 hours. The neighbors seem friendly and there appear to be many who have been here for a long time. The location is also great. I've never lived somewhere with so much to do so close by. I'm excited to start the next phase of my life here.
We have only been here a month and love it. They are super laid back and maintenance gets things done in a timely manner. We love the spacious apartments. Our friends are looking to move here next year!!!!
Quiet, cozy community with sizable apartments. Minutes from both major highways, downtown GR, and Rivertown Crossings Mall. Extremely pet friendly. The office manager Kara is extraordinarily caring and helpful. Definitely worth checking out if you need to live near downtown but prefer some seclusion.
Timber ridge is great! The office and maintenance staff are always very professional and helpful. My family has been living here for three years now and it's a great community. They really try to foster a sense of community for the residents so it's not just a place to live but a place to call home. Only negatives I've had are the cost of rent (standard for this area though) and some neighbors that don't seem to get the idea of an apartment and like to run through the halls at 1am. Thankfully the walls are pretty thick so a lot of noise from other apartments is deadened, it's just hallway noise to worry about.
I have lived at Timber Ridge Apartments for the past two years, and they have been fantastic. I haven't had a single complaint. If we needed maintenance's help, they were quite quick to respond as they are available 24/7. Each apartment has a washer and dryer within the unit as well as a garage, which has been fantastic, especially in the harsher months of Winter! The staff at Timber Ridge has always been friendly and helpful. Each week or month they try to do a different community event at the office or in the club house area. They make every event family friendly. Oh, and, have I mentioned they have a pool....? :)
