Property Ratings at Timbercreek Apartments
They charge a $300 non-refundable fee each year to renew your lease. Our rent increased over $200 in two years. Our unit hasn't had a single upgrade since we moved in. These apartments don't come with any amenities (no dishwasher, no washer/dryer, no central air/heat, no ice maker, no garbage disposal, no microwave, you don't even get a full size stove in some units). The units are small, old and drafty. There is literally a gap around our wall mounted a/c unit where you can see clear through to the outside. The walls are so thin we can hear our neighbors' whole conversations and we've had issues with mold. Our water has been shut off 6 times since we moved in for various reasons, many times without warning. The crime inside the complex has gone up since we first moved in. There was a shooting in the parking lot a few months back, in broad daylight, then two vehicles were set on fire a few weeks after that and just the other morning someone tried to break into my car and shattered my car window! There are better places to live in Greensboro with more reasonable prices and better accommodations.
i think ppl mistake the gboro location for the Charlotte one, I currently live in the gboro one for 12mths now nice place, clean, great location, quite neighborhood, no major problems with my unit if so they fixed it! I do recommend moving here specially if you from out of town I'm from ny and i feel safe.

Run, I had mold in my apartment and they accused me of putting something down my toliet and had somebody to videotape me going to my apartment. We been going to court and they been lying on me in court. I am still going to fight because they made my life a living hell
Office is very much uninvolved; they are selectively responsive to things. I was shown an apartment with a full stove, yet we moved into one with a half size stove. For the year I lived here, I had to call the police on 5 separate occasions for domestic violence and drug use by the neighbors. The walls are paper thin. Clearly, anyone can live here as long as you make payments. There is dog poop in every grassy patch as no one feels it needs to be cleaned up and the office doesn’t seem to care to enforce picking it up. The air conditioning unit was old and molded when we moved in. We were told we have to clean the filter ourselves and though it still wasn’t working, no one was ever sent to fix it. I had strange men beat on the door early in the morning every so often to spray for bugs and never received notice or warning beforehand. I was never communicated with though they in fact had my phone and email as I was alerted to changes in rent, changes in the facilities, etc. The laundry room is disgusting, and half of the machines do not work. They have had “out of order” stickers on them for the entire year I have been here. When summer came, the pool opened three weeks late with just posted little notes on mailboxes for notices. When it came time to leave, they decided they would charge us for an extra month since we didn’t give them enough notice. They never reached out to us with this information. We were sent offers of the new lease and no information on what our options were for leaving. Very sneaky and ridiculous of them to try and get more money as we leave. I will be sharing my review on every site I possibly can. I have never had such a bad experience with housing. They have had my email and phone number this entire time, but I have never once received any kind of update, information, newsletter, etc. It is clearly not properly managed. Overall, not worth the price they have posted. Small, cheaply renovated and built, this is not an ideal place to live.
My apartment is very roomy and spacious and located in wonderful area close to my job very comfortable in a safe neighborhood
