Property Ratings at Timberfalls Apartments
Been living here now over a year! The management is great! Shout out to Joe and Issac for having the best management! Property is clean, neighborhood is great! Only good things to say! And highly recommend!
I moved here in June. So far I really like my apartment and all its amenities. That being said the outside does need work. The lawn could be mowed more often too. However whenever anyone needs something or has questions. The property manager Joe is quick to help. From putting up blinds. To changing lightbulbs. To even fixing peoples cars. He shows up the same day you call him. He makes it worry free. In my opinion he could definitely use some help. He is always working and helping. You can’t ask for a better property manager. So that makes him one of the best reasons to live here. It’s also pet friendly with clean up stations around.
The new management is really amazing and did such a good job in renovating the units they are stunning!! Was a great choice to move here !!!
Timberfalls is such a beautiful place to live. I have been here for a year now and have seen the upgrades.Timberfalls is under new ownership & management and the same day they took over, the work started that same week. I am happy to say they really care about the place and the people. It is so beautiful during the fall season. All the beautiful colors of the leaves changing. I have great neighbors. People are polite. Even the mail lady that comes through is kind. I feel like this place will go higher than a five stars once the new owners get done with this place. Unimaginable serenity living here. I definitely give it a two thumbs up and 5-Stars. I am extremely happy here at Timberfalls.
I am amazed by these new owners coming in and taking over and fixing things up. I have been here at Timberfalls for two years now and it has never been at its best until we got new owner’s that actually care about there tenants and the property. This is a beautiful place on this quiet mountain. People are very polite. My grandchildren have made friends. I truly love it here mostly because I finally live in a place where our landlord cares. Very new & very exciting for me.
We weren't able to move into our unit for two weeks after our lease started due to electricity not working, a missing stove and replacing downstairs carpets not being complete. It was not cleaned from the previous tennants. Not that it wasn't professionally cleaned, it wasn't cleaned at. all. We had to buy our own carpet cleaning machine and have used it daily for months trying to get the smell of cat pee out of these carpets - even the new ones! The replaced carpets downstairs clearly weren't new carpets, they were either repurposed from another unit or had been sitting in storage somewhere for a long time because they were filthy. There was a hole in the upstairs bathroom floor that needed to be fixed AFTER we moved in. The fridge didn't have any shelves or drawers - still doesn't months later. Our central AC doesn't work - we had to buy window units. There were hookups for washers & dryers but we had to provide your own. We've had to spend thousands of dollars to make this unit livable. Then there's the grounds - there is garbage everywhere which no one ever picks up. The weeds & grass grow feet tall before they send in landscapers. There are no trash cans, only the dumpsters which are inconveniently located, so people just leave their food & drinks wrappers & bottles everwhere. There's trash immediately outside our unit which has been there since before we moved in and has yet to be cleaned (big hunks of plywood/broken window blinds/some sort of plastic containers under our deck/a painters bucket filled with trash/piles of old cigarette butts from previous tennants/old screens. The dumpsters are not gated in, so bears get into some of them and spread trash everwhere. The ones the bears can't get into, squirrels & other small animals make a mess of. You have to toss your garbage bags from far away because when you toss it in, so many animals come running out of them it's dangerous. And there's broken glass in the immediate vicinity of every dumpster. There's no groundskeeping crew that cleans up. There are dog waste stations, but they're overflowing and haven't been emptied once in the months we've been here. It's just gross. The units, the grounds..everything. Gross. The owners have zero consideratoin for the people living here. They don't give advanced notice before major work being done to the buildings.
This place is a dump , the apartments are falling apart , I live here now my apartment is basically falling apart and they don’t care , you could text them and email them all you want they never send people to fix the apartments this just been a waste of money and time for me
If I could select no stars I would. This place is a dump, not even worth living there if it were free. Broken heat in many apartments, broken air conditioning in many apartments. My fridge was broken/replaced with other broken fridges more than once. My hot water heater was broken when I moved in, it was running my electric constantly. Electric bill was over $500. Blakely Electric robs you for electric prices, it is about 2.5 times more expensive than using PPL for electric. My toilet did not flush for months and was unusable. The outward appearance of the complex is disgusting and falling apart. There is trash everywhere and disrespectful neighbors. There are good people living there, but the bad ones make living there like hell. The police are often there, sometimes weekly. They fix nothing and you will never get in contact with someone after you move in. I wouldn’t live there again if someone paid me to, it was miserable. The water was shut off multiple times, the gas has been shut off for people with gas stoves. They don’t pay their electric bills or any other utilities that are “included”.
In my opinion Timberfalls Apartments is one of if not the best places to live in the Upper Valley of Northeast PA/Scranton area. It is on a hill practically in the woods but far enough off the main road that the noise is minimal. Very quiet and extremely safe. Yet it is very near all of the retail , businesses, entertainment etc. It is very affordable when you consider everything is included except electric (very reasonable), phone and cable. They are all 2 and 3 bedroom townhouse apartments furnished with all appliances but washer and dryer( but space available) and also a laundry onsite. All of the maintenence is taken care of by facility. One phone call and they are there almost immediately to take care of issues. In the winter months they have the roads, driveways and walkways(don't even have to do that yourself )by 530 to 600am. Last and what I think is most important is they allow pets (for minimal additional fee per month) which I think is one of the best features of this facility. It is very hard to find places which take pets these days. I can say this practically everyone that lives here has a pet of some sort. For a lot of reasons I moved from taking care of a house to living here and it is the best thing that every happened to me.
