Apratment was older but clean and functional. The management was exceptional to work with when we had medical issues come up and needed to relocate from the 3rd floor apartment.

There is a constant turnover of staff, pool closed more than open, dog park deteriorating, windows broken and won't open, not enough handicap parking spaces.

Management is constantly turning over. Current management is aggressive to tenants and will try to keep you at property as long as possible.

apartments are old but has a great community and office staff. been here 13 years and it hasn't changed much. the new manager actually gets things done.

Moved in recently, found them on here and Sabrina was quick to respond and got me in for a tour the same day. Everything was easy and simple and well explained. I’d recommend checking them out they got good prices for ankeny and down to earth staff in the office.

We moved in a few months ago, the girls in the office really stepped there game up into getting me approved, since then they got new mantancice and a new manager and man I tell you they are on top of EVERYTHING. FAST & PERSONABLE!!!

Apartment is nice, grounds are beautiful, its quiet but close to everything you need. staff is nice and they really take the time to get to know you and they actually care about you, unlike other places. also the place is affordable for Ankeny.

MY son is going to DMACC this fall and its perfect for him only 5 Min drive to school and its near EVERYTHING he needs!! The prosses was simple and Sabrina made it easy and stress free got us keys in less then a week! AWESOME!!! I would highly recommend renting here its perfect for starter family's or singles! the pool is HUGE and the apartments are big!

Me and my house spouse (lol) moved in here recently and can I just say, LOVE IT!!! Its the perfect amount of space! But seriously, this place rules and the walls have the right amount of insulation to keep the demons out
My sister and I moved to these apartments as college students and have had a great experience. The location is ideal! Everything you could possibly need to get is within five miles. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the maintenance crew is always prompt to respond to maintenance requests. The apartment itself is about average, but the set up is very convenient and my sister and I love having a big bathroom. However, our dishwasher is old and does not clean the dishes so we have to hand wash them. The only thing we have really been disappointed with is that the people living above us are pretty loud. Other than that, we have really enjoyed our time at Timberland and the price is very reasonable too. These apartments are not over the top or very modern, but they are well kept and a great place to start out as a young professional.
