Appleton is a charming, green city located about 30 miles southwest of Green Bay. It straddles the Fox River at the north end of Lake Winnebago. In addition to a rolling, lush landscape with mature trees and river views, Appleton is a college town -- home to Lawrence University, a private liberal arts college founded in 1847. You'll find plenty of student traffic on College Avenue, which houses Lawrence University. However, more students live nearer to the University of Wisconsin in Menasha, to the south of Appleton city limits. Poor Management
Prices and everything is a good deal, which is why I sought to them, but I never received any response via email or phone calls.

Great Location. Questionable Maintenance Practices.
Quiet, wooded area near the Fox River Mall with a bus stop at the end of the street. The rent is pretty reasonable, but the apartments are outdated and a bit run down. Emergency repairs tend to be taken seriously, but anything other than a fire or flood might be ignored for weeks, months, or even years. My bathroom ceiling has damage from a flood upstairs that hasn't been repaired in over a year. And there has been an ongoing problem with rodents in recent years. I had to set traps myself to deal with them a year or two back, and now I'm seeing droppings on my stove and other locations once again. Being autistic, I'm particular about keeping my apartment clean, and things like this really disgust me. I also feel that if someone is paying rent, they shouldn't be expected to do maintenance themselves in order to have acceptable living conditions. My impression is that a lot of effort is put into making apartments ready for new tenants but existing tenants are a low priority. Even those like me who have lived here since 2001. I'm keeping my eyes open for a better apartment and will likely move at the first opportunity.

It is a top priority for us to look further into any outstanding maintenance issues you have and work together to fix them. We set high standards for our Maintenance Team and apologize that they have not met your expectations. We have shared your review with our onsite Property Director, and she will have a member of our Maintenance Team contact you immediately to address any further repairs needed on your bathroom ceiling. We are also working closely with our pest control provider to resolve any future rodent issues. We appreciate your residency, since 2001, and hope that after we’ve had a chance to resolve the issues that you will choose to continue to live here at Timmers Lane. BAD ROAD SERVICE DURING WINTER
Decent place but the road (S Lynndale Dr) to the apartment and the parking lot does not get plowed during snow days/nights until the next day or so. If there is a snow storm, you WILL get stuck and not make it to home. Maybe it's the area but it would be a lot better if the city or landlord get's at least the road plowed during snow days so residents can make it home. It already sucks having to drive in the snow, sucks even more not being able to make it home.

Very nice place to live.
Well cared for, clean and quiet place. Repairs done quickly, and employees are very polite. I have been living here almost a year. No complaints.
