Property Ratings at Tindeco Wharf Apartments
Tindeco provides some of the largest 2 BRs apartments in Baltimore for a reasonable price to live right on the water. Lived here for 3 years and only moved out due to moving out of Baltimore. Loved the large living room with very high ceilings and being able to step outside and walk along promenade with my dogs. Everyone at the front desk was welcoming and friendly. Also, despite being on a busy street and being a large complex, didn’t have any noise issues. The complex is outdated, appliances and finishings look old and cheap. The hallways could really use new paint and carpeting to up the “curb appeal.” The large interior courtyard seems like a wasted space, would benefit a lot from communal grill. If you have dogs, want space, and want to live by the water, tindeco is an ideal place. If you are looking for more, then you may be disappointed. Overall, would recommend for young professionals.
Some layouts are great but they try to push you into ones you don’t want. The people in the leasing office are creepy. Everyone who lives there is moving out and has bad things to say. Halls are dim and smell, and have poop and pee spots. It really seems like this place has not been updated since the 1980s. There are sliding glass doors separating the upstairs and downstairs? Yucky messy paint jobs and cheap carpet, tacky colored countertops. I don’t know why they have their rent up so high because I am not paying it!

This is the worst place I’ve ever lived- it is expensive for what you get: an outdated building with no updates. It has cost me money to live here because they have destroyed my belongings. I can’t wait to move out. They raised the rent significantly after the first year, even though my windows and door have never closed properly (my gas/electric bill for a studio is over $200), hot water lasts 10 mins (never hot enough to take a bath) and it went out multiple times the first year, washers big enough to wash one towel at a time, bugs constantly coming up through the drain, slow/broken elevators and you can’t take the stairs, dogs leaving a mess in the hallways, and maintenance entering your unit for whatever whenever and you’ll know it because they also leave a mess. Everyone in the leasing office is useless and unpleasant.

I’m sorry you are not happy living in your Tindeco Wharf studio. Our 861 sf studios are among the largest in the city! I’d like to resolve your maintenance concerns for you, if you could give me a call at 410-675-6664 so I can get more details. You might also consider calling BGE for your excessive BGE bill, there may be a problem with your meter.
Old d building, everything always breaks and maintenance is SO SLOW and usually makes it worse. Most unhelpful managers ever. Terribly overpriced. So many better options out there.

We lived on the 3rd floor for 3 years and loved the huge loft layout. Front desk staff was always great and their 24/7 which was a nice feature, older building but maintenance was always quick with fixing any issues.
I lived in Tindeco Wharf for several years before my recent move to Washington. The loft apartments are gorgeous, largely open-plan, and have huge windows, with those on the east and south side looking out onto the water. The location on Boston Street is ideal for Canton, Fells, Harbor East, and downtown. The office and maintenance staff are great - they have always gotten back to me quickly and do good work. And the parking lots have plenty of space. You can hear your neighbors if they are loud, but not at 'normal activity levels'; it's pretty similar to other apartments. Having just moved to a different apartment across the US, I am missing Tindeco more.
Loft apartment with abundant storage. Fantastic location and love the floor plan. Also extremely pleased with the staff and response to any request.
I love living at Tindeco Apartments. I live in a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, 1 den loft apartment. It is so spacious and the floor to ceiling windows let in so much light. The maintenance and front desk staff are always courteous and very helpful. The hallways are always clean and the other residents are nice and respectful. The waterfront location is great. I definitely recommend living here.
Great location and loft style apartments are cool. Only downside is walls are very thin so we can hear our neighbor play mysic some times.
