Fun, vibrant, trendy -- Downtown Eugene is all of that, plus it's a college town. The University of Oregon sits along the Willamette River in Downtown, adding a youthful vibe to the many shops, restaurants, and pubs that line the downtown streets. Downtown Eugene is very walkable, with wide sidewalks along tree-lined streets. It is the location of the Lane County Farmers Market, the Saturday Market, the Hult Center for the Performing Arts, and the historic WOW Hall Community Center of the Performing Arts.
In addition to the University of Oregon, Downtown Eugene is home to a large number of tech companies -- so much so that the neighborhood holds an annual "Tech Tour" to highlight the companies. Downtown Eugene is a terrific place to live.

Property Ratings at Titan Court
This place is a legitimate oven. A heat stroke magnet, absolutely unlivable during the summer or any heatwave. Not to mention there was a break-in during my stay. An unknown man was walking around the halls and the staff had to tell everyone to stay in their rooms. The wifi also randomly disconnects, making taking online exams a coin flip.

Thank you for your comments and concerns, Zach. We want to apologize for any trouble you've experienced with the rising temperatures and WiFi. As a property that is very open about not having central A/C installed on property, each year around this time our staff communicates ways to combat the heat including portable A/C units, fans, window circulation, and more. If you're looking for a solution, please come by and discuss the matter with our team. The Wifi has been increased for the last few months dramatically because it was being maxed out - however, we increased the available bandwidth that now produces enough to supply high-speed internet to all of Titan Court. Should you be experiencing drops, we can connect you with the provider to troubleshoot.
The summer months have been so incredibly hot and the building amplifies that heat making my room a living oven. WIFI is alright for an hour or two a day around 5-7 am but is almost unusable after those hours due to how many people use it and how poor the WIFI is, this makes completing schoolwork an absolute pain especially with online classes. My roommates have ranged from serial cigarette smokers to very gross individuals that don't clean up the poop they left on the toilet and leave any hairs shaved on the floor counter and sink. I have filed multiple complaints and nothing was done until months later when I requested out of my lease due to the gross situation. I do not recommend this building.

Thank you for your comments and concerns, "Sjsh". We want to apologize for any trouble you've experienced with the rising temperatures and WiFi. Ultimately, the main objective of company review responses on platforms like this is to provide a space for reconciliation and help - this is a difficult practice to continue in the face of anonymous reviewers. Living in Titan Court, I feel safe. The building itself is extremely secure. The staff does an amazing job at making everyone feel welcome and at home. They are very helpful when answering your questions, especially when it’s your first time living on your own! The building is very convieniently located next to the bus station. I personally have enjoyed living here a lot:)
Consider if this is your son or daughter's first from home roommate living experience. You don't get to choose who your roommates are and don't know if they are slobs. I they are not clean then in one year you can walk into a situation where no one has vacuumed or mopped or cleaned much in a year. The place will be trashed. Management is also very unresponsive. They don't return calls and bill you without sending notice and only post signs in the complex. Also, when kids move out they don't do a through check on their stuff is moved out. Only check rooms. Kitchen was full of everyone's pots, pans, cups, dishes, utensils, bowls, food both dry and frozen and in refrigerator! Really don't do their job properly at the end of the year. Beware you will get additional charges to move that stuff out and again none of this is communicated to residence.
Titan Court will move students with less than a week notice, even during finals week ... True Story! They will pair students with criminals because they don't check backgrounds, at least not very well. They will hold students responsible for their roommates damage or misdeeds. In the words of the manager "residents are responsible for their apartment, no matter who does the damage." Students will be exposed from every drug from pot to heroine. True Story!
Living here has been great since the tour! They have awesome CA's who are college age to give you the tour. You can ask them questions about the area or room and they know everything! First off, it's a student only apartment which makes me feel really safe. The kitchen comes with all necessary equipment and has lots of cupboard space for utensils. The stove and oven heat up so fast so cooking food is easy! The living room has a huge window and perfectly sized TV for shows or movies! There are two bathrooms in the four person room which is perfect (I've never needed the bathroom at the exact same time as the other girl). The rooms are an awesome size with a window that comes with the bed, dresser, desk, nightstand and ceiling fan! So far it's been really quiet and I haven't had any noise problems either. I really recommend Titan Court if you're going to Lane CC, U of O or NCU!
