Property Ratings at Tivoli Park
Overpriced for these paper thin mold filled apts. "Not" Luxury in any way, shape or form. Its like you stepped back into 1984. Old appliances, Old fixtures. Wild animals running around. Look Elsewhere
This was the absolute worst place I have ever stayed at. Our a/c went out like 5 times before they completely fixed it and after we kept telling them that something was wrong they finally listened and ordered the correct part after being without a/c for almost a week we had had it and when it was time to renew we left and it was the best decision ever. And the office is a whole story itself the woman are rude and they never answer the phone and you would think that they’re busy but they’re not at all. Please if you can look for somewhere else to stay the price maybe nice but trust me your sanity for living there will not. If I could 0 stars I would.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. From everyone I know complaining about cockroaches to the ground is never being maintained. And the women of the office are by far the rudest people they could’ve found. You can find a place better for cheaper and not have to deal with any of this.
I have been a resident at Tivoli for almost three years now and have been dealing with roaches and the lingering smell of cigarette smoke in my unit for the entire three years. Even though I have never smoked and like to think that I am a pretty clean person. It is difficult to leave a negative review because all the staff (from the maintenance, leasing agents, to the back office staff) are incredibly kind, efficient, knowledgeable and very responsive, but I cannot give a complex more that one star that is roach infested and smells of cigarette smoke.
Tivoli is the absolute worst place to rent from. Your packages, mail, cars, motorcycles will either be stolen or vandalized. We get emails almost every other day about the vehicle and motorcycle theft. We also get emails regarding people stealing our mail and packages by our front doors. Tivoli management does absolutely nothing to prevent it. They have no real security patrolling the parking lots all hours of the night, no gated entrances, no ID checks when people drive in and out the complex, and worst of all...no working cameras. Do not be fooled by the cameras displayed near the entrance. They do not work. The walls are extremely thin, the apartment structure on the interior and exterior are extremely poor and falling apart. They also have a huge problem with termites, roaches, and black mold. Management does not care about their residents. Every single negative review you have read about Tivoli is 100% true. Please do not rent from this place. Take your money elsewhere.
Been here for 2 years got my car stolen and broken into. They dont care about you or your items as long as you pay them. Also NO DAY CARE ! The day care is in the complex but tivoli does not own or have any say. Dont be fooled its not worth the move in. WORST COMPLEX IN THE WORLD !!! BE WARNED DON'T DO IT !!!! STAY AWAY !!!! RUN FAST !!!!
I don’t even know where to start, I couldn’t be any happier to have chosen this place to start a family. Our property manager Bella is amazing, words cannot describe her devotion. She is literally a phone call away, super attending to our needs making sure that we are setting in okay. Our townhome is beautifully renovated from top to bottom. I couldn’t be any more happier with my decision. And I thank Bella for all her help. I’m not someone to write a review but I had too. Our experience has been magnificent. And I strongly recommend this place.
Finally we have a manager here who is getting things done. Bella has been wonderful, she responds immediately to any text. She really cares about the residents and the property. I will be staying as long as Bella is running this complex.
Run far away from this place it’s a disaster I’m currently living with mold because they don’t come to fix anything I also have leaks... They have a security guard at night but yet the cars get broken into it’s a disaster
I wish I could give it negative stars. The maintenance team never fixes apartment issues properly. There’s NO PARKING! Very thin walls you can hear everything from your neighbors. Leaks and mold in my apartment and no help from the maintenance team for months, and now after 2 years of living in this crappy place they want to try and fix things when we’re in the process of moving out.
We had the best 4 year stay in this community, this place is best in every aspect.Well maintained apartments and community, best rental division, friendly and nice residents around and commendable resident services people.Special mention to Matt from resident services to make our stay so comfortable, for smallest things his service was top notch. This community is all about beautiful green trees, lakes and close to beach. Also best in terms of secure and safe for families.I still remember in the event of hurricane IRMA in 2018, Tivoli was the fastest to recover in cleaning up as compared to my friends living in different communities in other area.Thank you Tivoli for making our stay memorable.Again special thanks to Matt and resident services.I will definitely recommend this place to all.
For the past two weeks we been telling the office regarding the building 615 has no lights as soon it starts getting dark outside, which make all the people living in this building using their phone light and flash light to get to their apartment. Now with the time change an hour backwards it’s the only building in the whole community that doesn’t have light around 5:30 Hoping someone will do anything this time.
So much vehicle theft. 21 reports of cars being broken into since July. Nothing has been done. Maintenance is terrible, if you need a new appliance (because the washers/fridges they have are from the 90’s) you have to BEG for them. When you get a replacement one it is exactly that... a replacement one from a scratch & dent store. Staff is HORRIBLY rude. There is no security. There is a “safety vehicle” that stays parked all day. Spend the extra money & keep your family away from this nightmare.
We've been without ac for 3 days now in 95 - 100 degree weather. They refuse to do anything about ac problems on the weekend claiming that they can only repair it during business hours. Not to mention the crime and cheap appliances.... it's not worth renting. I wish I had rented somewhere else rather than here.
Beware!!! I’ve lived here 2 years. The apt is fine enough. Nothing fancy, but perfectly fine. When I’ve had problems with something, maintenance has usually been pretty responsive about getting it fixed. HOWEVER...safety is a huge issue here. There have been frequent car break ins. Just this past weekend, 21 cars had their windows smashed and a woman was help up at gunpoint. Mgmt’s response to our concerns about safety was to tell us that they had cameras and a car patrolling the neighborhood. When we mentioned that it was an extremely large community, that clearly 1 car wasn’t enough, there needed to be better lighting, SOMETHING more needed to be done to ensure the safety of the tenants, we were told if we weren’t happy, we could move. WE WILL BE!!! There are many other communities. I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.
First, let ne say most of the good reviews on here are from Employees. or staff of Tivoli. 1. NO PArking. Very little parking in the evening. There are people here who have 4 or 5 cars and let their relatives stay here for weeks and months. No fun trying to find a parking spot at 10pm at night and having to walk a block to my OWN APT! 2. its beginning to look like a Ghetto here. Unscrupulous people have moved in and you will NOT feel safe. 3. Dog Poop everywhere. Don't walk around bare foot! (you have been warned) 4. Maint guys seem nice BUT the office drags their feet to get anything done. Took 2 Weeks to fix AC problem (In JULY=HOT) 5. Office staff RUDE 6. Apts are constructed of Wood.. (not concrete) You can here your neighbors ALL day and ALL night. (good luck trying to Sleep) 7. Do NOT move here
I called the desk about openings and possibly a tour, said they have no models so you cant see what you are moving into unless you buy it. then on top of that i asked about dog restrictions since on their page it says none and the second I said Dalmatian the lady immediately wanted to hang up and stop helping me. GET BETTER PEOPLE TO WORK FOR YOUR COMPLEX!!!
Saw several bad reviews and was a little worried about moving in here. But Im so glad I did. My apartment (in The Springs) is really nice and spacious and has a lot of closet space. The a/c and heat work really well. Anytime Ive ever had any issue with anything, I've called mgmt and they have sent someone over to fix it immediately. The community itself is also kept clean and in good order. There are always maintenance workers all over the place keeping the place nice. The community is racially diverse, and everyone is really nice and friendly. I have NEVER seen people on drugs walking around, as one review said. I am a 53 year old white woman and I walk my little dog at all hours of the day and night and feel 100% safe. The only negatives i can say...Id really like it if they put a few nicer chairs by the pools. The (very) few that are there are really crappy. It would also be REALLY nice if they manned the 2 guard houses at the entrances. They have been empty since I moved in. But overall, its very nice and not too expensive.
Mercedes is amazing and the property managers are great to work with. When I wanted to be transferred from my 1/1 to a 2/2, they made sure that I got just the right apartment model. I couldn't ask for a more helpful staff or better experience. You can't go wrong moving into Tivoli Park!
This place is AWFUL! Tennis courts are non-functional, nets are falling apart. Entire complex is outdated, needs upgraded paint exterior/interior, needs upgraded stainless steal appliances, very outdated appliances & poor quality that hardly work. Countertops are some sort of hard plastic that mimics granite, cabinets are old and look like simething from 70's. Paint half done, caulking half done, alot of unfinished work. Benches & picnic tables old & falling apart, duck poop EVERYWHERE, in stairwell & grounds. Bug problems have been reported. Pools/jacuzzi always dirty & unusable, Clubhouse requires $75 yearly fee for each year you lease. Pitiful unresponsive, rude management!!!!
The stars and comments speak wonders should be shut down. RATS, ROACHES, SPIDERS, TERMITES, they have no control over anything call for a maintenance issue ( wait 2 months later) issue still not fixed, need a new washer (good luck) they try and get out of it rather then give you a new washer (even if its been 4 years) with 8 complaints on it. Staff Front desk Manager
This place is appalling, the people who work there could not care less if you came or left they unworthy of ANY business, if your looking for a crack house, for your place to get broken into, cars to get damaged this is the place, the police you see them everyday. Tivoli makes rules up and does not enfoce them. The manager is only in it for the money he's a vulgar man who does not care about his staff, he brings you in his open open office to humiliate you in front of the staff and other people there at the time, he has no manners. I'm so glad we moved. The best decision I made in 2016
I promise you these people will steal your money like they did to me. The girls in the office are extremely rude and impossible to work with. Take my word for it and find somewhere else to live.
HORRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE, STAFF IS RUDE, GROUNDS ARE DIRTY, APARTMENTS ARE FALLING APART WITH OLD WALLS AND ROACHS CRAWLING THROUGH.... HORRIBLE PLACE DO NOT MOVE HERE... RATS EVERYWHERE!!!!
On November 17th my husband and I were down in the Deerfield Beach looking for apartments because we were re-locating from Port Saint Lucie, Tivoli Park was one of the complexes on our list so we stopped in to get some information and tour the grounds and take a look at one of the apartments. When we arrived we right away the grounds looked dumpy but we ignored it and went into the office. We were not greeted well at all, the reception we got was very cold and nasty; the "office" was a dump, we were quite offended when the staff would not even talk to us or give us any information except a carbon copy of a list of rents and were told that we could not see an apartment because they did not show them they only rented them. Who rents an apartment sight unseen???? Stay away from this place....bad news!
DO NOT MOVE HERE! They charged my rent twice one month then charged me $45 for canceling the second payment which they incorrectly charged. It took 3days of calling and emailing for them to finally remove the charge. That week I decided I would not renew. I wrote my notice to vacate had it notarized and kept a copy after I turned it in just to be safe since they gave me so many issues. When I moved out they kept my deposit saying I never provided my notice to vacate. I called, sent emails, and dropped off copies of the notarized notice to vacate and the document saying they withheld my deposit. After two weeks of calling they finally answer and tell me that they don't consider that proof.....after they lost the original. Management is absolutely terrible. They will steal your money however they can!
Everything that glitters is NOT gold !!! I beg you not to be fooled by the appearance, this community is ran by a bunch of lien inconsiderate careless cowards who would much rather you terminate your lease then to hear anything you have to say in regards to their property. The property manager and staff is overly rude and the regional manager has a careless attitude , his answer to everything is "you get what you pay for," but that is no excuse for why the kitchen stove should be a time machine, OLD AS DIRT. I have only been here 2 weeks and this is BY FAR the worst rental experience I have ever had in all of my 5 years, the residents are even pathetic, someone filed a false complaint on us during the first week!!! how unwelcoming. Live here at your own risk but there are other suitable complexes nearby for roughly the same price. (: this place is rated 1.9 by google and most of their reviews are highly up to date. good luck.
DONT BE FOOLED BY THE LOW PRICES...YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. THEY SAY APARTMENTS ARE UPDATED BUT A FRESH COAT OF PAINT AND SOME NEW CABINETS DONT DISTRACT FROM THE OUTDATED APPLIANCES, MOLDY A/C AND UNSAFE LIVING CONDITIONS. NOT TO MENTION THE MANAGEMENT ARE A BUNCH OF DICTATORS. THEY BASICALLY BARK ORDERS VIA MEMOS TAPED TO YOUR DOOR GIVING YOU 24 HOURS NOTICE TO COMPLY OR ELSE THEY EVICT YOU OR TRASH YOUR BELONGINGS. NEVER HAVE I DEALT WITH SUCH AN UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE BUT THEY DONT CARE BECAUSE THEY KNOW SOMEONE WILL TAKE YOUR PLACE DUE TO THE PRICING
Do NOT apply here. This place is ran by scam artists. They double and triple book apartments they say they have for rent. They lie to you and are impossible to communicate with!!!!!!
I went to Tivoli park for a tour and automatically loved it. They have great floor plans and no breed restrictions on dogs. I have a pittbull jack russell mix and this made me the happiest. They have so many great amenities from pools to fitness center and even a daycare. The only thing I didn't like was you only get 1 assigned parking spot and if you want 2 it's an extra $25 on your rent. But other than than awesome place to stay I think. And I would most def recommend others.
Tivoli Park is an amazing environment to move into . Very clean and spacious , gym is very efficient ,rooms are a great size ,very up to date kitchen . The staff is very friendly and helpful. this was my first time apartment hunting and i set my eyes on this special apartment due to the lovely community. the pool is absolutely gorgeous, very clean beautiful scenery. rent is also very affordable.
We have been here for about 4 years now. The reason we moved was because our old apartment was raising our rent by $300 and this place was $200 less than the current rent so we would be saving $500 a month. It has the same paint, carpet and applances and only a mile farther way from work. The bedrooms are a nice size as are the closets. The kitchen is a little small and oddly shaped but manageable. Some of the apartments have been renovated with new cabinets, countertops, and flooring. Since being here we have needed our washer, dryer and a/c fixed multiple times. We have received a replacement water heater, fridge, kitchen faucet, and dishwasher. We have also had 3 leaks in our ceiling and one from a window. The manitanance team has improved since we first moved in. They do a better job so less visits are needed to fix the problem and they are quicker about getting out to fix the problem. There is plenty of parking which was problem at our last place, but they have started to charge a yearly fee for it just this year. This is a dog friendly place and there are quite a few around. Most people are pretty good about picking up after their pets but not all. There are signs posted about getting pet privlages revoked if you are caught not cleaning up but I have never seen anyone out checking up on the pet owners to enforce this. We are located right near the elementary school so the kids can walk. We have never had a problem with noise from them. We have had at least 3 bicycles stolen so I don't recommend locking them up outside. If you do know that even bar locks through the frame and wheel doesn't stop thieves. We keep our bikes inside now but it is inconvient taking them up and down the stairs. We have never really had a problem with pests. We see a roach maybe once every 4 to 6 months but I don't think that is bad at all. We have never seen or heard a rodent, unlike our previous place. Overall, for the price, it's not bad enough for us to actively try to find a new place to live. It's close to work, the neighbors are nice enough, and my family and I are safe without having to choose between rent and food. There are things I would like to see like newer appliances and upgraded bathrooms but nothing that makes me want to run away and never look back.
When I was was looking for an apartment close to my job in Boca Raton, I knew I would have to pay through the nose. Then I found Tivoli Park. The outside is very nice, there was even a daycare on site. Once we got the key to the apartment I realized why the price tag was so low. The appliances are old as dirt, the kitchen cabinets are awful and in need of an upgrade. Though they replaced the tile upon our move in, there were roaches in the kitchen that required 2 Pest control visits. The vents in the bathroom somehow is connected to my neighbors and every morning I open my bathroom door to the smell of cigarette smoke. I don't smoke, never did, nor does my boyfriend, and it smells awful. In the past year I've spent over $100 on different air fresheners trying to get rid of the scent because it flows through the house. I have two children, my youngest is 1 years old and was constantly getting upper respiratory infections. Turns out their was mold in her bedroom from the water leaking into the wall from the ancient AC unit. The mold was so bad mushrooms grew out of the baseboard. I will say this however, no matter how bad, the maintenance is really good about replying to request and getting things fixed (even though it should be replaced.) For example, the stove has been fixed twice, 2 kitchen cabinet hinges replaced, two bathrooms renovated with new toilets, tubs, tile and faucet, and 5 walls redone b/c of mold. So just like I said, you get what you pay for.
Having read some really negative reviews, I was a little hesitant to make the move. But the price was right and I thought I could make do until something better came along. Long story, short - I've now been a tenant here for almost four years. The staff are always professional and responsive, my neighbors are friendly, and the complex is very centrally located.
