I made an appointment about two weeks ago to view an available studio in Greenlake this evening. I called the office twice today to confirm my appointment and to ask for additional instructions such as where/who to meet. My calls were never returned, but I showed up to my appointment on time anyway. Nobody was there to greet me and show me the studio. I tried calling several more times while waiting in front of the building but no one answered the phone. I waited there for about 15 minutes before I left. I love the location and the pictures make the studio seem nice, but I feel that Pladhus was highly unprofessional. I don't know if this is any indication of what it's like to interact with management as a tenant, but if it is then it's probably for the best that no one showed up.
It is a totally unpleasant experience living in Pladhus. The first day I was in the Pladhus apartment, my $150 suitcase were taken by someone else inside the apartment even though it needs a security code to enter. On this Black Friday, I ordered a Dyson V8 Absolute. The packages were opened by someone else and the items inside were gone, left empty boxes for me again (which was reported by one of my neighbors). If you need a security code to enter in, then you can image who may take my suitcase and packages. If it was done by people from outside the apartment, I did have concerns about the security situation. And in the almost one year, they don't have any action plan such as setting up a security camera.
If you're a fan of Tiny Houses and want to give it a try before committing, then try Pladhus Apodments in Seattles Roosevelt/Greenlake neighborhood. New with modern features, Pladhus is close to both public transportation to get you anywhere in the city and outdoor activities at nearby Greenlake. Friendly neighbors and responsive management, make this a great transition apartment or for anyone who does a lot of traveling.
The studios at Pladhus are small, but efficient. Lots of cabinet space and basement storage means there is plenty of room to keep books, clothing, etc. All the appliances are new, and the apartment manager, Denise, is very nice and responds promptly to maintenance requests. The windows are the best part of the apartment. They are almost 8 feet tall and let in lots of light, even on rainy days. The Pladhus building is in a quiet, residential area of NorthWest Seattle, within walking distance of the U-District and many shops and restaurants on Roosevelt. There is a great farmers market across the street on Saturday mornings, though it sometimes has live music that can be a bit loud. Otherwise it's ideal for grad students or single professionals looking to save on rent while still living in a lovely (and modern!) building.

Thank you for the great review of our community and to myself. Pladhus is a wonderful community in the green lake neighborhood where people have a sense of community.
