Property Ratings at Tocco Villaggio Apartments
I have been living in this apartment complex for the past year and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The staff are so helpful. They are always available to answer any questions or concerns that I have. The apartments themselves are amazing! They are spacious, well-kept, and clean. I truly feel at home here. The amenities are also fantastic! The gym has everything I need for my workouts. The location is also perfect! It's in a quiet area and yet it's close to shopping centers, restaurants, and entertainment venues. I love that the complex is situated in such a convenient location. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment complex for anyone who is looking for a great place to live. It's a comfortable, well-maintained, and welcoming community.
this place was great. unfortunately i had to move but i can't recommend this complex enough. anytime i needed help maintenance was quick and the office was so friendly. i wish i didnt have to leave.
Absolutely love it here! Great community, great neighbors.
The elevator is finicky in the bldg. they know it and nothing is done about it. Can be left with cart of groceries and require taking stairs. Had a tub issue , put in order in October took to January before repair. Dishwasher blown by the repair person , office doesn’t know what time frame of repair or replacement will occur. I was told their focusing in on turn overing an apartment than servicing those they already have
I think at times we just have to write something positive because people tend to focus on the negative entirely too much. I am happy to call Tocco my home. I haven't had any major problems with my apartment but the few times I have called, the management has been quick to respond and quick to resolve the issue. I had a recent situation and just felt compelled to write something kind because of the way it was handled. I love my surroundings. The grounds are always well-maintained and I am never embarrassed when friends come to visit due to properly being neglected. I just feel safe and at home. Thank you again. You know who you are. :)
After living here 3 years I did not renew my lease. The community center we were promised has never opened, yet the property manager works out of it. It was one of the amenities promised, BTW the gym appears to be fully furnished but as we pay gym memberships off site we have no use of it. The property manager is very rude and cold. The wall are thin and many neighbors problematic. They play loud music. The cleaning of laundry and halls are rarely done. The rent goes up substantially every year with nothing to show for it. The walkway is not done before we leave for work and the roads never salted. You pay for luxury apartments but not.
I have lived at Tocco for about 4 years and genuinely love living here. I wanted to write a positive review because I’m confused about all the negative reviews although yes, I was promised a pool and workout room when I moved in and it has yet to be built. But aside from this, the apartments are beautiful, newly built, and have high end finishes. I love that all the apartments have a patio or deck for outdoor space as well. Overall, the apartments are quiet and the grounds are always upkept. Each time it snows, the workers are always out there plowing and clearing the parking lot. Since there a several buildings in this complex, there is a nice, quiet, safe place to walk around all the buildings. I would recommend Tocco!
Maintenance is professional, reliable, and considerate. Always goes the extra mile and passes along helpful tips and information about my apartment. Definitely one of the many reasons I continue to rent here along with how beautiful my apartment is and how clean the building stays.
Unfortunately, I had to break my lease due to relocating for work. The continued communication during the whole process was great. No question went unanswered. Even after I moved, any question I had about my security deposit was answered. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time living at Tocco Villaggio
I would like to express how happy I was to live at Tocco Villaggio. I have been asked to write this review since it appears those that are unhappy are the only ones that voice their opinions...I normally do not take the time to write reviews but after reading the other comments I felt it was necessary to stand up for this property and the staff that runs it. I have had to relocate for my job but the entire time I resided at Tocco Villaggio I enjoyed it. People need to keep in mind it is apartment living and there may be some noise from their neighbors. There are quite hours and the rules in the lease are enforced. That is one of the reasons I chose to live on the 3rd floor. Any issues I had were explained and addressed. Maintenance was very responsive. Overall my experience while residing at Tocco Villaggio was very pleasant.
Where do I begin . Management is unprofessional and rude. The Management office has been closed since 6/2020, yet the facilities we have paid for for have yet to be made available to us, 5 years later but is available to outsiders to rent for parties. The vehicle for communication is to sneak in the building and tape an envelope on your door; this is any correspondence such as lease renewal, letters, lease violations (no American Flags) etc. Radiant heat but you are really not able to regulate it properly. So everyone leaves it on a high as it takes so long to heat back up, thus making it very hot and unbearable to the tenant above and/or below. The "air conditioners" are cheap, extremely loud, and are not sufficient to cool the apartment. The appliances are cheap, the refrigerator runs constantly and rattles. Dishwasher is just as basic and cheap. The hallways of the buildings are very hot and poorly lit, with no ventilation/air conditioning. They seldom vacuum the interior hallways and from what I am told the carpets have never been shampooed (some buildings over 5 yrs old). The staff are young and not very personable coming across as rude. They never can give you an answer to a question. Many tenants apparently never owned a home and it shows with their lack of respect for the property. Laundry rooms are unkept and dirty. A cleaning person "may" come in every couple weeks but just does cosmetic cleaning. There does not appear to be any insulation above or below apartments as you can hear them talk, flush, put away pots and pans, etc. Very Noisy! Many tenants are inconsiderate and rude. Runaround to tenants who inquire as to where the pool and clubhouse are to open as it was part of the lure to move here and an amenity listed and being paid for each month. Last summer when all progress was stopped here we were told the crews were needed at other sites? We continue to pay for a gym membership awaiting the promises of the gym.
the crew does a great job clearing the snow. Never lived in an apartment environment where there was such regular snow plowing. Kudos!
love it here. my apartment is great, any problems are handled quickly
Easy process to move into a beautiful place. Excellent maintenance and staff is attentive and professional. Any problems get addressed very quickly and the premises are always kept well lit and clean.
I have been a tenant at Tocco Villaggio for over 2 years. The level of unprofessionalism from management I recently experienced is unbelievable. I have never had a manner dealt with in such a rude, ignorant and disrespectful way. I requested an appliance repair, two weeks later no call back, so I called to follow up. I was told that someone was actually at the apartment, I was shocked. We were told verbally at our lease signing that we will receive notification if someone is stopping by unless its an emergency. This was not an emergency situation. A couple weeks went by and one day I noticed that the repair had occurred. I was dumbfounded once again, when did someone come into our apartment and fix it? I received no form of notification on either visit and I am astonished that this sort of unprofessionalism is allowed. I felt betrayed, disrespected and violated. Furthermore, I received a bill due for the repair that was required due to normal wear and tear and everyday use of the appliance. When I wrote a letter addressing the issue, I received no response back, very unprofessional! I did however a few weeks later receive a threating letter stating if payment was not made immediately the amount would be deducted from our security deposit. I was shocked at the level of disrespect and indifference from “professionals” in management. I called to attempt to resolve the matter, no luck. I was basically told yes, we received your letter and we couldn’t care less, you owe that amount and we expect you to pay it. Without the ability to speak to a real “professional” from management I have resorted to leaving a review. To warn others about Tocco Villaggio’s management. I am disgusted that after two years it has come to light that all they truly care about is receiving their monthly checks for rent. If you do need a repair you will receive a bill for it and the bill is to cover their expenses for a repair that should be their responsibility.
There are safety concerns as coyotes come into the parking lot in broad daylight, neighbors have observed drug transactions. As there is not security and fairly dark here it is a prime place for crime. Cars speed in and out day and night, there are not speed limit or stop signs . The rent goes up every year with nothing to show for it. Seldom the building is cleaned. We are looking to move this summer when our lease ends. BEWARE, LOOKS GOOD ON PAPER. Oh BTW, not dog free, 3 dogs in my building......and smokers. Lots of young people who party and the office will not address.
BEWARE! Where do I begin. The apartments are new/fairly new. However, the quality is very poor. It has radiant floor heat but you are really not able to regulate it properly. They seldom vacuum the interior hallways and from what I am told the carpets have never been shampooed (some buildings over 3 yrs old). The hallway lights are on timers and half the lights are off during the day, when it is overcast outside it is very dark. Have lived here going on my third year, these apartments are the next best thing to owning your own home (as a retiree, it is the best thing). The site is very safe, secure, and well maintained. Each apartment is spacious, well lit, and built with the best materials. Most of the tenants in my building have lived here since the building opened. Everyone is friendly and the concept of the Alberici family prevails as a "Village" has evolved. Management is very open and responsive to concerns and feedback/suggestions are encouraged. The owners are very hands on, accessible, and visible (three generations).
Unprofessional staff. Poorly built apartments. Any concerns with apartment are disregarded.
We love Tocco Villaggio! The buildings are kept clean, the people are friendly, and the staff are so nice! It’s a very quiet place, which is great for all the studying that we do. The location is perfect too. You have everything you need within a 5-7min drive. Highly recommend!
Thought about moving out of state to where I originally lived before finding this gem. For the price you pay and what you get at Tocco there is no comparison. I have mostly delt with property manager Kaili who is knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate beyond her years. This is a family built, owned, and managed complex and enough credit and praise could ever be given to the original Alberici who has instilled such work ethics in his family (have not met him but hear from others he is hands on and often overseeing). If you have a problem or concern they are promptly addressed, feedback and ideas are encouraged. Does not matter who you speak to Kaili, Courtney, or Jennifer in the office they get right back to you. All of this in addition to moving into an everything new apartment. The layout is amazing and well lit. Built with the best of materials, granite countertops in the kitchen and bathroom(s), radiant floor heat (included in the rent), elevator and even have a garbage disposal. This development is still a work in progress, the Clubhouse and pool will be getting started now that it is spring. The landscaping and snow removal folks are second to none. I have only had to call for maintenance once for a minor problem and they were here within hours and problem fixed.
Tocco Villaggio is the best move we made. The workmanship and attention to detail are features you would find in a home. The layout is reminiscent to our patio home that we loved in North Carolina. Feels like a house, not an apartment. The staff is friendly and approachable with any needs - including the outdoor crew who have kept the walks and parking lots clear this winter. The granite counter tops, top notch bathroom tiles, radiant heat and wood floors are just some of the unique touches that make it feel like home. If these were condos, I would buy one in a heartbeat.
I moved to Tocco Villagio earlier this year and it was definitely the right choice! From the moment I walked in to see it I felt welcome and comfortable. The agents on site could not have been more helpful and accommodating. After viewing the apartment I was sold on everything it had to offer and most importantly the quality of workmanship in and around the property. I immediately signed the contract for the apartment. When I went home and had a few questions, the girls were very responsive and made sure that all of them were answered and that I felt comfortable with my decision to move here. They are continually checking the entire property to make sure that everything is held to the high standards of the Alberici name. I would highly recommend that you come take a look and you won't be disappointed. From the amount of space, to all of the amenities, to the value that Tocco Villagio has to offer I'm glad I made the decision to move here. I just wish I would have done it sooner!
