Property Ratings at Torcello (L03)
I love my apartment close to shopping centers and freeways, they are clean.
would like to thank you for your kindness and professionalism. My roommate and I were very impressed with how you handle your business… Being a college student can render poor service from businesses, restaurants, etc., but you have treated us with the same professionalism and care as any other client.
Gated and close to shopping centers, office hrs saturday open
I wish I could give this place a more than negative review. Upon moving here, I had to deal with a bunch of things happening. Stray cats in the neighborhood are making babies and are all over the complex. The sad part is, they can’t do anything about it. I also have to deal with a ton of bugs not just inside my apartment but also OUTSIDE. I wish I looked into this place more before I moved here. This is a warning to anyone looking at this place. The outside seems really nice and looks are really deceiving. Please save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere!
Property Manager at Torcello (L03), Responded To This Review
Greetings, Unfortunately there is not much that we can do about stray cats that may be in our community. We have reached out to the Humane Society many times and we have also encouraged ALL residents to refrain from feeding them. In regards to any bugs you may have encountered, fortunately Pest Control is one of our top priorities. Pest Control comes to our community once a week, every week and every resident has the option to put their unit on the list to be treated if they have any concerns. We apologize for any misfortune you may have encountered during your stay. If you are a current resident please feel free to approach the office with any concerns. Thank you for your residency at Torcello Apartment Homes Management
They created false charges on the walk through after moving out. 200 for a microwave that was in perfect condition. I suppose another tenant needed a microwave so they billed me for one. Many other false charges. Took my 300 deposit and charged me additional 1000. My apartment was in perfect condition.

Unfortunately, move out process is not enjoyable for anyone. Even though we give the option of a Pre Move out Inspection in efforts to narrow down any move out damages, most damage cannot be found or estimated until the unit is completely vacant. In regards to the microwave; If a microwave is damaged beyond the cost of repairing, we must replace the entire microwave in order for the apartment to maintain its value. I hope you enjoyed your stay while you were here, otherwise. Thank you for your previous residency and thank you for your feedback. I hope you enjoyed your stay while you were here. -Torcello Staff
There is a really horrible parking situation here. They only give you one parking pass per apartment and if you park anywhere but your space, they will tow you. You're supposed to park your second car in a visitor parking space but tell me how that works when there are only 30 visitor spots and 300 units with a potential 300 second vehicles??? Don't bother.
Property Manager at Torcello (L03), Responded To This Review
Greetings, Unfortunately, the truth is that Torcello does have limited parking. Over the years we have made every effort to accomodate all of our residents. We have tried Open Parking which led people to park everywhere, including red zones and our actual residents could not find convenient parking Then we went to permit parking but most residents could not keep track of their sticker. Currently, we have given every apartment one assigned space. We do have visitor parking that is limited but not impossible to utilize. If visitor parking is full, our next options for parking would be outside the gate by the office or even directly across the street. I understand this is not ideal but it has made the most improvement and has been the most efficient way to be fair regarding every resident and their right to reasonable parking. I apologize for our imperfect parking situation but Torcello is a great place to live aside from that. Thank you for your feedback
This place will charge you to death! Don’t even move go here if you got two cars. They got 300 units with 300 parking spots. They will give you one spot for your “assigned” spot. You’re on your own on your next vehicle. If you park on somebody’s spot...they will tow your car! You will have to fight for a few visitor parking against the whole compound. If you can’t find a spot...you will have to park outside the compound gate. That’s your luxury living!

If visitor parking is full, our next options for parking would be outside the gate by the office or even directly across the street. Before residents move in we thoroughly go over our parking. We let them know that they are able to tow a car out of their assigned spot but to also make sure that they do not let any of their guests park in someone else's assigned spot because they will be towed. They will be towed, not because someone wants to tow their car but because everyone has a right to their assigned space and parking is limited otherwise. I understand this is not ideal but it has made the most improvement and has been the most efficient way to be fair regarding every resident and their right to reasonable parking. I apologize for our imperfect parking situation but Torcello is a great place to live aside from that. Thank you for your feedback
They behave like professionals while moving in. But their true colors reveal when you move out. They charge you for things that you can never imagine. Consider your deposit is gone and they charge you double the amount as fine after moving out. Not recommended at all

Poor management and customer service. Mold in apartment. Terrible parking. Predatory and illegal towing. Check out their reviews on other sites. Overpriced for the apartment quality and lack of service. What you will end up paying in time, energy and money for the lack of adequate parking and predatory towing negates any positives of living here. Tenants should come before the almighty dollar, but that is not the case here.
Property Manager at Torcello (L03), Responded To This Review
Greetings, Thank you for your previous residency with us. It means a lot that you chose our community to be your home. In our Lease Agreement and even our previous Lease Agreement we have a Mold addendum which asks for your communication in regards to mold. I apologize that you suspected mold in your unit because we do not hesitate to address a suspicion of mold. Anytime a resident has a suspicion of mold we send maintenance that same day to address the issue. In regards to our parking; Over the years we have made every effort to accomodate all of our residents. We have tried Open Parking which led people to park everywhere, including red zones and our actual residents could not find convenient parking Then we went to permit parking but most residents could not keep track of their sticker. I understand this is not ideal but it has made the most improvement and has been the most efficient way to be fair regarding every resident and their right to reasonable parking. Residents' parking spaces are included with the lease of their apartment. Every resident that moves in is made aware of where to park and where not to park. We encourage all residents to park in their assigned space and to instruct their guests NOT to park in someone else's space. They will most likely be towed, not because anyone wants to tow them but because parking is limited and every resident has a right to their parking space. Torcello is an exceptional place to live aside from our parking accommodations. I hope you enjoyed your stay, otherwise. -Torcello Staff
Although Torcello Apartments are very nice, it comes with its cons. You only get one parking permit even if you rent a 2 bedroom apartment. When we went to the office to speak to them about that, all they could say was to rent a garage as if the apartments aren't expensive enough. I left our second car (without a permit since we only get one) on the permit only parking for one hour and my car was towed. I did not get a warning it was just gone when I went back out. When I spoke to the office about it they said there was nothing they can do. They couldn't lower the price for taking out the car. I paid $250 for one night to take out my car just because Torcello does not give out more than 1 parking permit no matter how many rooms you rent. We happen to have neighbors that smoke right under us, as well as next door to us. We like to have our patio door open and sometimes the front door open when we cook and all the smoke comes up to us. It would be okay if it was once a day, but our neighbors come out atleast every hour. When we went to the office to speak to them about this they said they can not do anything about it because it is permitted here. We suggested it they can go by the garages to smoke, but they said no. They are aloud to smoke on the patio or outside the front door. It is an inconvience for my family because we have a 1 year old who is inhaling all that second hand smoke. The AC is always having problems and when they come to "fix it" after a few days it stops working again. This is every year during summer. We are on the process of moving out and the lady at the office said that they only pay for the paint and we must pay for all the damages. I don't know if they can legally take my deposit and ontop of that charge me more, but I will find out. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone because when you try to go to speak to front office about problems in the aprartments all they can say is, "Sorry, I can not do anything about it."
Seriously loved this place! The scenery and the apartment itself was so clean and brand new! the service that Marissa Gave us as she gave us a tour of the place was so Good!! And to perfection! We checked out the 1 bedroom apartments! Definitely recommend her if your deciding to check this place out! She knows what she's talking about and also makes the experience of looking for an apartment so talk able and relatable and easy!! but also brings everything to life. As we were looking throughout Stockton the service you provide really makes or breaks if you'd buy it or not since your presenting the whole apartments on its own! And on top of what your looking to move into as well! Loved her though and the really inviting setting and place of this area you definitely won't be disappointed I promise you, you will fall in love with it like I did! Thank you Marissa you were such a great help! ???? keep doing what your doing!
NEVER live here. EVER. When I moved in, I rented a studio to get settled. After that least was up, I moved within Torcello to a 1-bedroom. When I moved, my $300 security deposit vanished. They added painting, house cleaning, drip pains, and $150 of additional labor charging me on top of the security deposit. If I had known this was their practice, I would not have signed either lease. I just moved out of my second lease to another site. Guess what...it happened again. I put a $400 deposit down and even though I leaved the apartment immaculate...more fradulent charges...including $190 for a microwave. If that was damaged that's one thing. But I went through a walkout walk-through with management. NOTHING was noted. They signed the paperwork saying it was in great shape and then they charge this. I received the final "bill" of made-up charges and called to talk to them. The manager hung up on me and was hostile to me on the phone. She refused to discuss this and absolutely lied that I damaged the microwave. She offered to send me pictures of a broken microwave and a cracked sink...which was absolutely not damaged when I moved out. I still have the document where I got the all clear! Since this is the second time this occurred to me and as you look through others on here, you notice that this is standard practice at Torcello. It is a fradulent company. The manager at Torcello, Jazette, is a fraud. I have reported this to Better Business Bureau and place the warning to you. I absolutely would not have my worst enemy live here. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD.
We have been living here for over 4 years now and we have seen these apartments go downhill quicker and quicker. Rent seems to go up every 6 months, and management does nothing to combat the crime problem or the HORRIBLE parking issues. I only wish I had a way to post pictures, but if you were to go to another rating sight that rhymes with Help, I am sure you will see just how horrible it is living here. The "security" is a joke, they come by and lock up everything at 9pm and you never see them again even if you try and call their emergency number. Do yourself a favor, if you come here and they take you on a cute little golf-cart around the place, do yourself a favor and ask a RESIDENT before you leave what they think...(don't do this in front of management.) Believe me, its NOT worth it...I can promise you that.
I currently reside in the Torcello Apartments and I have to say that I've never understood the quality for a price ideals until living here. It's not that every city is without it's problems but in this city there seems to be more than necessary. The rent has never been super affordable when compared to other complex listings elsewhere, but I've never had an issue with theft, negligent staff, annoying neighbors or actual criminal or illegal acts occurring on the premises. My one bedroom apartment has always been quiet, the neighbors don't bother and are mostly courteous and pleasant. The parking leaves something to be desired but the grounds here are beautifully maintained and the apartment staff readily comes to fix any complaints you may have! In my years living here (different apartments) I've never once had any issues that couldn't be addressed immediately by giving the office a call. The pool is always well maintained and any interactions with the office workers is always pleasant and helpful. Other than the price for rent, I wouldn't change a thing! But, on second thought, I wouldn't change the rent either... that may be a big contributor to why the apartments are in such nice shape!
The property is very well kept. Landscaping is nice and well kept. The apartments themselves were surprisingly comfortable. With crown molding, high ceilings, nice fire place and nook, I was very pleased for the price. The one HUGE draw back, very close to a not so nice part of town! Very bad! But totally gated with security helps feel better. Over all, a nice place.
I've lived here for 6 months. The complex is beautiful. The staff are very friendly. When I had an issue with my refrigerator, the same day I called and reported, I was given a new refrigerator. I really like that there are multiple floor plans to choose from. I also like having a washer and dryer in my apartment. And the swimmin pool is always kept clean, has a lot of loung chairs, tables with umbrellas and love that classical music plays softly over the pool area. There are GAS grills throughout the complex. The Italian style adds class to the complex. I feel safe being within a gated complex and the fact that we get our own security and the phone number to call security directly to walk you to your apartment late at night. The only problem I have is that there are no assigned parking. You can, however, rent a garage. I haven't had any problems with my neighbours. It's like everyone here watches out for each other.
Not luxury, but offers excellent amenities including all major appliances with individual stackable washer/dryer, forced air heating/cooling, gym, swimming pool, et cetera. And for good measure, a delightful staff and maintenance crew that responds in a timely fashion.

I asked if there was a gym & they said no. Then again, the person I asked had only been working here for 2 weeks... Moving in fairly soon & I am still hoping they have a gym.. LOL Yay or nay?
