Property Ratings at Torrente Apartment Homes
Plenty of parking but people just park on the street or on the grass. Dog poop all over the grass. Dog poop disposal cans overflowing with bags of dog poop. Hallways that wreak of marijuana despite being a non-smoking community. Management does nothing about any of it. They drive around on their golf cart and see these things happening every day but simply don't care. Morgan Properties corporate is in for a surprise if they ever visit and see how this place is being run.

I love being at Torrente. I made the move around the beginning of the year and it has been a good one. The staff is friendly, and there is always something to do. I really enjoy going to the resident events they put on every month. Thanks for making this a great place to live!
The move to Torrente Apartments has been the best decision I ever made. I love the quiet and private setting, while the South Hills location makes it easy access to the highway for my commute. Great views of the woods and creek, large open floor plan, big closets, fitness center, and private parking are a few of my priorities and Torrente has it all. Very friendly and attentive management and maintenance is a big plus!
My family was recently re-located to the USC area for my position. Torrente has been a good fit for the 3 of us. The apartment we are in was brand new when we moved in, it's spacious, with adequate storage. We like the garage option within the building as well. Overall, the maintenance is very speedy and the office is nice to deal with, we renewed our lease recently and feel good about our decision. The bus comes right to the clubhouse too, fyi! It's nice to grab a cup of coffee and stay warm while I wait with our daughter in the am.
Views of buildings and garages. Marginal grass area around each structure. Cookie cutter. No place to walk to. Club house if you want to drive to it. Poor design.

Hi, there! So sorry the size of the pool did not meet your expectations. We maximized the sun deck space around the pool so more people can lounge and congregate at tables based on feedback at our other complexes. We are a few minute drive to the Rec Center for any competitive swimmers or for people that like to do laps for exercise and less than 5 miles to the South Hills Village Shopping area! We wish the suburbs offered the walk-ability of city living, too- but the tranquility of the woodland surroundings and peace and quiet around the complex is enjoyed by many! Additionally, our property links to the Boyce Mayview Trails, so if you're looking for more grass area then what is behind the buildings and around Chartiers Creek, there are acres to explore connected to our complex.
