Property Ratings at Torreyana Apartment Homes
I lived in Torreyana Apartments for 4 years. when I moved out they added a bogus charge for tub resurfacing even though the tub was in the same condition as when I originally rented it. I disputed the $400 charge and contacted both the management company and the central billing trying to get a review and a resolution to this issue and at a minimum verify that the work had at least been done. Central billing would tell me that they passed the information along to the management company and they would get back to me if they heard something. However after 5 months of checking on the situation and instead of contacting me about it they sent me to collections. I would have paid the bill had they just proven to have done the work but for some reason they felt this was a better solution. its deplorable they are a terrible company who tries to stick you with every little thing they can when you move out. avoid them at all cost.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with the charge for tub resurfacing. We strive to provide transparent and fair billing practices, so it's disappointing that we left the wrong impression. I would like to personally assist you in resolving this issue and finding a satisfactory resolution. Please reach out to me at your earliest convenience so we can discuss this further. Thank you, Vanessa Campos - Community Manager - 7022578500
We've been residing here since October '22. So far, so good. The maintenance team responds immediately, which is really good, especially Mr. Jose; he's been very nice to us. At the leasing office, Ms. Maria is the best; since day one, she has taken care of us. I had a complaint one time about a nuisance at night, and Ms. Vanessa took care of it. Very nice team! I hope nobody leaves because we want to stay longer here at Torreyana. It's a bit pricey, but worth it!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Torreyana Apartment Homes! We're thrilled to hear that Jose and Maria have been able to assist you and that our maintenance team has been able to address any concerns immediately. We're glad that Vanessa was also able to help resolve any nuisances, making your stay comfortable and safe. Thanks again for choosing us as your home!
I have lived at this location for over 5 years, when BH Management took over I have noticed better communication all around. The new manager Jose gets things done and seems to care about his community. All the other staff Jessica, Vanessa, and Branden are very helpful and informative in the dealing with Covid.
My husband and I wanted to retire in Las Vegas. We lived in Ohio and found Torreyanna online. Finding a place to live sight unseen can be daunting. We loved our apartment as soon as we walked in. Its spacious and lovely. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. So far, we are enjoying everything.
Great management and timely maintenance. I couldnt ask for anything more.
Very friendly staff, apartments feel very nice, community seems good, all the expected amenities and then some.
This apartment complex is amazing. The staff is kind and works hard to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The landscapers work diligently to keep everything trimmed and lovely. Maintenance is done quickly and efficiently. Our apartment is larger than most and updated beautifully. We love it here!
So far, the best Apartment complex I have ever stay in!!! Thank you for making home feel like home
Management really takes pride in the cleanliness and appearance of the complex and it shows. I never have to wait long to hear back from the office on any matter, and everyone in the office is always nice and on the ball!
as always i love living here! very quiet place enjoyable pool area. gym is fantastic.
The gate to this place has never worked in the one year I lived here, on that note my vehicle was stolen and with the camera that they have and security that is suppose to be here, nothing was found. Let me correct that they didn’t call us back when they were asked about the tapes from the security camera. Now they don’t want us to stay and didn’t tell us why. They seemed very happy to tell us that we will no longer be living here as of the 29th this month on the 1st of this month. If you tell me don’t live here we are military and they know it and we are about to be homeless during COVID-19. All they do is turn your water off with out notices, the floors are unleveled, the plugs are very loose, you can’t have your closet light on with a blow dryer going at the same time without blowing a fuse, when asked about all this nothing has been done. My car parked in my assigned parking spot has been sticker to be towed even though I told the manager that it was mine, but they send emails to let everyone else know that their car are about to be towed..ie a BMW was emailed to everyone to move before they towed, then someone parked in someone else stop was also emailed before they stickered it, but mine was not. They don’t call back, not even BH management hasn’t called us back. We were told that the owners thought it was to expensive to fix the front gate, but they have redone the whole pool, fitness center, and landscaping, but the gate that protects us from everyone coming is not fixed still.
Beautiful property! Great amenities that this community actually takes care of! Really responsive maintenance team and the office is so helpful! Bobbi is the best.
Torrey has been one of the best neighborhoods Ive had. I plan on sticking with them for Smithers year or so !
our community is safe, clean, quiet, BEAUTIFUL colors. wonderful place to live. i've lived here for 5 years. and have had the best living experience ever. this was a dream come true for me. love TORREY ANA'S.
Don't live here. Another big company that doesn't keep thier word. I thought I was moving here to heal and it's not been comfortable for that. Devolia in the office is not very nice nor do I want to ever do business with her. She never showed us anything but took credit for everything over Denise. Dog eat dog right.
everything is good, rent rate, community, the location
I am very pleased with Torreyana Apartments. My Apartment is close to the dumpster for garbage, my place to park my car, and the Bark Park for my dog. The grounds are very nice. The plants are pruned regularly. All needed repairs are done quickly and professionally. I have been in my apartment for a year and a half. When my lease is up in December I plan to renew it.
great
Very quiet and calm residential area. Has all the amenities I need. Everythings close by
The response time is Amazing!!...The entire staff is on there Job....After reading some of the reviews from other apartments, Torreyana is in a class of there own, second to none!!!
I've been so happy living here, is clean, so green, and good service in the office manager.
I’ve been living at these apartments for 7 months now and have been pleased with my stay. I’ve had no issues with bugs of any kind in my home as grounds keeping staff can always be seen. My only complaint with these apartments is the price in terms of rent and how they force you to pay a monthly cable bill even if you don’t want it, along with paying for every single utility from trash to sewer to whatever a community fee is. However if money is not of concern to you then these apartments are a great choice.
I've lived here in this community for five years. it has always been such a good home community with TORREY ANA, I have always wanted to live here and the management has been good to me on whatever I needed. thank you.
Speaking as a current resident of 2 years - The property was recently taken over by new management (BH Management) - the following problems I describe have persisted and new ones have arisen. In general, management is very unresponsive to resident comments and complaints, and the office staff often get defensive and refuse to acknowledge their mistakes, large and small. Rent is expensive and increased over 6% last year. In no way does it reflect a reasonable rate for living on this property. You are also nickel-and-dimed with extra fees at the end of the month, including a required $100 "technology package" that covers cable and internet, even if you don't want or use cable at all. Despite a Community Area Maintenance Fee (that can change without notice but usually is around $30), I regularly come across an unacceptable amount of trash and dog poop everywhere. The parking situation is abysmal - there are simply not enough spaces in certain sections of the complex and a surplus of spaces in others. Several sets of dumbbells have been missing from the "state of the art" fitness facility for months now, despite repeated attempts to get management to replace them. Access to pools is restricted for a sizable portion of the year. Gates are broken regularly and left open as a solution so the claim of a "gated community" is simply laughable. New programs have been introduced that residents can't opt out of (and that residents must pay for). A new online rent payment system has been introduced that makes split payments and partial payments an unnecessary hassle. Other residents have even experienced break-ins. The units themselves are nice, but any time you need to interact with management or office staff, expect to be given a hard time. Take my advice and DO NOT LIVE HERE.
Let me start of by saying I've lived here (just me) for 2 months now and so far it's been great. The leasing process was easy and everyone I worked with from the office was super nice and helpful (I worked mainly with Jasmine). No bugs, pretty quiet, free tea/coffee, computers/printing in the clubhouse, nice amenities, and the community is kept up pretty nicely (except yes, there is dog poop everywhere, but I've seen them come around and try to clean it up maybe once a week). I moved into one of the completely upgraded units as I figured it was just a little more to have brand new appliances, etc. My apartment is BEAUTIFUL, BUT let's talk about price. I feel like soon I'll be paying an arm and a leg for this place...Originally I was ok with the rent being at the top of my price range because of how I felt when I saw it and walked around the complex, but the added fees are going to be the death of me. The mandatory technology package is dumb in my opinion because it's 2019 and lots of people have cut cable and just want/need internet, but living here you HAVE to pay for this $102 package. The other fees include a community fee (which varies based on who knows), sewer, water, trash, and another service fee. I get having most of those fees but a trash fee?! As someone who brings my trash to the dumpster MAYBE 2x a month...I don't get the trash fee? Other places pick up your trash for you for $25, I'm paying almost that to bring my trash to the dumpster...but whatever, I do love my apartment, I feel safe getting home very late after work, so besides the price, I am happy with this place, but if the fees keep going up, I may have to move.
Lot bad reviews and Lot apologize, they stole my deposit of 600 I payed to Camden Pines and then they charged me money, Camden Pines was great now the problem it’s the property manager

We appreciate you taking the time to leave this feedback for our community and we are sorry to see that your overall stay at our community has resulted in a one-star review. We do apologize the transition from Camden to AMC had been such a inconvenience for you.
Ever since AMC took over the complex from Camden it has been filthy and generally a terrible place to live. From dog poop everywhere to poor customer service, the pools aren't maintained and the whole property is in disarray. I've lived here for two and a half years now, there are better places with the same sq feet for less and a better environment.
Property Manager at Torreyana Apartment Homes, Responded To This Review
Thank you for taking the time to review our community. We're saddened to hear that our community has not lived up to your expectations of a wonderful place to call home. We are committed to making your living experience more enjoyable, so if you have any additional feedback, please contact us so we can address your concerns.
I can't stress this enough. The property management co AMC has an F with the BBB. Yes an F. The community was great when Camden owned it. The past year and a half has been horrible. 1-2 robberies every other week. An email was sent out after 1 of the robbers was caught and there were 2 more robberies 9 days later. They won't even fix the building lights. Half of them are out. They have said they've been working on it for months. One thing I will say is maintenance is super nice. Too bad most of the office staff isn't.
Property Manager at Torreyana Apartment Homes, Responded To This Review
The team at Torreyana is truly sorry you feel this way. I hope you give the ladies in the office another chance. They are great people and they love working at Torreyana. As for the building lights, they get replaced on a weekly basis. We hope you decide to remain a resident at Torreyana.
Before torreyana moved in, Camden pines was great. They didn't neglect the pool, nor the people. Now since they moved now everything has gone down hill. The pool is filled with people that wear clothes instead of bathing suits, people drinking alcohol, smoking, inappropriate acts in the water and much more. And when I take requests for resurfacing, painting etc. they don't contact when there are going to do it. It's been almost 2 months after I asked to resurface the bath floor and replace tiles.
Property Manager at Torreyana Apartment Homes, Responded To This Review
Torreyana Apartments take great pride in meeting the needs of their residents. We have just recently completed the pools renovation which includes all new furniture. Our water is a beautiful sparkling blue please stop by and take another look We strive to provide our residents the best experience we can at our pools, fitness center and other amenities we offer. As with any new management company's takeover of a new property, there are bound to be growing pains while the staff and residents adjust. Please contact the office with any unresolved maintenance issues you may have so we can address the issue immediately.
Please note the other review you see here, entitled "Great Complex," was written when this was still Camden Pines, and at that time, everything she wrote was true. Since Camden sold the property, it has gone straight downhill. In just three short months, this place is now a dump. Don't believe the beautiful pictures that have been posted on the Torreyana website. It looks nothing like that here. There is debris EVERYWHERE. There are rusting car parts.Evidently they cleaned up for the photo shoot. Very misleading. And now they are "upgrading" the property by painting the buildings. Here's a newsflash: new paint colors are just that. Different does not equal upgrade. And what colors you ask? Six different colors on every building. Terracotta on the roof, pale cream main color, dark gray trim, additional bright green trim, a lighter gray in the alcoves, and dark blue doors. This Big Top atmosphere is unfortunately very fitting for the Clown Show that is Torreyana. I was told one month after AMC (we'll call them Terrible New Company) took over, that they hadn't had time to get their vendors in place yet. How in the world is that possible? Did their own purchase of this property take them by surprise? They certainly had time to order welcome mats with the new Torreyana name and logo on them for the doors to the office and mail room. I was given the absurd excuse of not being able to come on property until they took possession of the property. That's why they had no vendors. Are you kidding me? I must look like an idiot. Contracts would be in place, ready to be signed the minute after closing. Unless you're complete amateurs and have never done anything like this before. I have sat in the Property Manager's office with her. She seems a genuine and caring woman. I can only assume by the fact that the weeks and months drag on with zero improvements, that her hands are tied by Terrible New Company. I asked for the number to corporate today and, what a surprise, they won't give it out. If I were them, I wouldn't want residents talking to corporate either. The number for AMC isn't that hard to find, kids. Internet. If you are looking for a nice apartment complex, keep looking. You won't find one here anymore.

This property was formally Camden Pines and was a great place to live. However, since it was bought out by AMC and changed to Torreyana, it has done a complete 180. The staff are discourteous, the property is no longer maintained with mass amounts of garbage scattered throughout, yard work is limited to the front of the property with the actual residences ignored, and the quality has generally gone down. I loved living in Camden Pines, but will not be renewing my lease with this new company. Save yourself the trouble and find someplace else to live that doesn't hike up rates while downgrading quality.

My husband and I lived here for 14 yrs before he passed away. I moved back east to spend time the granddaughters. But love Las Vegas so moved back. Same complex, but boy that have out done themselves when they remolded. All high end appliances and flooring and cabinets. beautiful grounds and pools. Friendly staff and great maintance crew. I absolutely love the crown molding. I would not want to live anywhere else.
