Property Ratings at Toscana Apartment Homes
I haven't lived in an apartment since I was in my 20s! So moving in an apartment again was a New experience for me! The office staff has been so helpful in my new endeavor! A BIG thank you to Jessica and Madye for All you do for me! You guys are GREAT and so KIND!! So GRATEFUL for your concern and expertise! :-)
Property Manager at Toscana Apartment Homes, Responded To This Review
Thank you for the glowing review! We are thrilled to hear that Jessica and Madye have been able to assist you in your transition to apartment living. We appreciate your kind words and are glad to have you apart of our community!
OK. Few things, The amount of noise and traffic is INSANE. There is not a playground so kids play in the street (ooops sorry about your car). This is a pet friendly neighborhood but not everyone picks up after their pet. If you are sensitive to smoke, beware this is NOT a non smoking property. Last but not least, Be prepared to fight to get your security deposit back.
Property Manager at Toscana Apartment Homes, Responded To This Review
Thank you for the feedback posting as a former resident. Unfortunately, Toscana is not a nonsmoking community, and the onsite staff tries to monitor unruly children but ultimately it is the legal guardian’s responsibility. We cannot limit where children play. We apologize there was a misunderstanding regarding your deposit refund but this was quickly addressed and corrected.
First of all, the crime rate in this place is unbelievable. ! 2nd, Hardly no any other pet owners pick up after their pet so constantly having to clean shoes. 3rd and most frustrating is the significant lack of parking places! If you come home after 9 p.m. The only place to park is on the side of the street which leaves plenty of room for passing traffic but now they will tow your car if you park there, so I guess you just park somewhere down the road and get a uber home and hope your car is okay. According to their new rules. There's not even close to being one parking space per apartment. Which should be against the law if you ask me.
Don’t let the reviews fool you. They’re so poorly managed and the staff is unprofessional. They don’t care about their residents and the living conditions of the apartments. Bad area! There was an armed robbery and the suspect was found in the apartment complex!!!! They tow people’s car but they don’t offer enough parking spots. DONT’T MOVE HERE!
Staffs are rude and when u need something to be fixed it takes a week before they come.:( Worst staffs :( If u have complaints they don't do anything about it. All they care is ur rent!!!
Apt 10.....Thank you for taking care of the things that have been requested of ur maintenance crew. Also for keeping the neighborhood about the family and kids.
This has been the most unprofessional establishment I’ve ever lived at. My maintence request take literally take weeks to be corrected. I have to hassle the office clericals just to have someone address a maintainence request I called more than 2 weeks prior. Moreover, once we my concerns are addressed they are not corrected. I can’t continue to live in an inhabitable apartment because the management can’t address simple concerns. I will be seeking legal advice. I do not recommend.
I moved into my 2 bedroom in July 2017.when I moved here it was 2900 Apartments with promise of fixing the landscape of the whole grounds not just the front. They was supposed to be putting grills in also adding a dog park non of that has been done. And as far as the Maintance goes I have had a saggy ceiling due to a leak since I’ve moved in and still have incomplete work orders that I put in when I moved to include electrical problems in my two bedroom . And the monthly socials don’t ever happened if they do manage to put something together it’s poorly plan. Now I have a outlet sparking in the kitchen Leaving the chance of someone possibly getting electrocuted let’s see how long it takes them to fix this. I will not be renewing my lease.
I would like to let everyone know that Part at toscana in Greenville are cheating and lying money hungry and don't go there they will charge you up front for an application you didn't even want to submit and the managers and corporate back this up if you are lucky you MIGHT get half the money back you never knew you were getting charged and blame you for it too
Overall the property is unclean and unkept the entire time I lived here there was nonstop construction that lasted 12 months longer than promised. Construction vehicles constantly blocked driveways and inconvenienced residents on a daily basis. For example, the entirety of my lease there was a trailer parked in front of my apartment that made it almost impossible for my neighbors and I to park our cars. We asked for it to be moved multiple times throughout the year and nothing was ever done. Management is a complete joke. Anyone working in the office only lasts 3 months max so don't try to learn any names. They are also terrible at keeping up with files and records. Don't expect to get any deposit back upon move out because they won't have any "official documentation" that you ever paid anything. You also won't have any proof because there was never any procedure to record said "official documentation". The overall quality of the apartment interior is laughable for the price. Vinyl flooring looks nice when freshly laid, but is will probably be installed incorrectly so it easily pulls up and scuffs. Eventually when you move out you will be charged $500 to replace it all. You also better pray that no environmental damage ever occurs to your property. Around the end of winter a large pine tree fell onto my neighbor and I's units, ripping the gutters off, taking out a power pole, knocking a huge hole in the roof, and blocking both of our front entrances. After a asking the property manager to move the fallen tree for a MONTH my neighbor got fed up enough to cut it and move it himself. During this tree removal process, we realized that our property manager had failed to get duke energy out and turn off the power to the LIVE WIRES that were hanging out on the ground. The trouble wasn't over after that though, it then took 2 - 3 additional months for the damage to be professionally repaired. During that period of time the roof in my neighbors bedroom began to mold and I had pieces of roofing and gutter dangling in front of my door. All in all, I would NEVER rent this property again and was lucky I got out at the end of my lease.
I moved into these apartments over the summer (of 2015) and won't be renewing my lease. My maintenance requests have taken weeks to be addressed, the office staff is difficult to get ahold of, I can't count on packages being delivered to my door or the office, and the facelift they've given to the apartments is pretty shoddy as soon as you spend some time in the space. Maybe once they finally finish the construction it'll be a decent place to live, but until that happens, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. You can get a much better apartment for the same price elsewhere.
