This is my second year at The Flats at Salem. First and foremost if you ever go to renew your lease, do not do it through the portal like it asks you to because you will not actually renew your lease. The company requires you to come into the office to renew. Second advise is that your rent will go up over $100 without any changes to the apartment. Unfortunately, I would rather take the hit than to be homeless.

I like living here. It is quiet and for the most part it's clean. There is not a lot of trash outside of the bins. One thing that can improve is being able to contact the lease office when you need to ask a question more easily.

My experience has been great for the most part. The only downsides are that I am still dealing with outdated appliances and lack of storage. And I think the neighborhood is not as quiet at it used to be when I first moved in a few years ago, but it’s not bad.

So far in the very short week and a half since I've moved to this complex, I must say that things are very much legit for the most part. I like that the neighborhood is pretty much very quiet. It's peaceful and a very clean neighborhood. I also like that the complex implements designated areas for smoking. I wish that a lot more apartment complexes would donthe same. The front office staff was/were very friendly and knowledgeable about the questions that I had regards to moving to this neighborhood.

The maintenance crew is top-notch, addressing all needs quickly and professionally. The staff is consistently courteous and goes out of their way to be helpful. I love the cleanliness of my apartment. I am happy with the amount of space and the neighborhood seems quiet, all of which I am very pleased. I am a little disappointed with the wear and tear/ age of the bathroom cabinet underneath the sink, it could definitely stand an upgrade.

It is a good apartment complex. Love that it is quiet and so far so good. Love that I am able to come home and rest and feel safe. I like the area that has a playground for kids and a pool

The flats is quiet and safe for kids. Has a playground, pool and multiple grilling areas. The summer time gets a lil busy! Old building so a-lot of maintenance issues. Doable, but price is kinda high for size and not many upgrades.

They are really good about maintenance coming to fix problems. Sometimes the residents are sloppy with their trash. Overall decent place to live.

The community itself is well kept and quiet for the most part. Issues with irresponsible pet owners that do not pick up after their pets even though there are bags a bins for this purpose. You have to watch were you step in the grass areas.

neighborhood is amazing the pool is very nice I love my 2 bedroom very spacious . The patio is also great for me . My patio door could be sealed a little better because bugs keep getting in

I am in love with the new community that I have moved into. They have great amenities. I especially love the dog park for my larger dog. My kids are excited about the pool!

I’ve never had any issues at this apartment! Maintenance is fast and friendly, neighbors are quiet enough and nice, and I feel good living here. The apartment is a little small but it’s not unreasonably priced

Very quiet neighborhood and clean apartment. We don't have a car yet but there's a bus stop right at the entrance to the apartment, so make it convenient to get to work.

The neighborhood is good our only issues would be that the upstairs apartments are outdated whereas the downstairs apartments have been renovated.

I really enjoy it at The Flats at Salem! The only issues I have are really out of their control with how high the rent is and some of the neighbors can be crazy. They are quick to respond with maintenance issues and overall the apartments are very cozy and just the right size for me and my roommate. The washing machines and dryers are a hit or miss though. My dryer doesn’t dry and they’ve been by to look at it a few times, but you win some you lose some

The Flats at Salem Apartments have been my home for seven years, and I couldn't be happier. The staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating, while the maintenance crew consistently goes above and beyond. The grounds are always well-kept, and the neighbors are quiet, courteous, and friendly. Considering the quality of living here, the pricing is a true bargain. Overall, it's been a wonderful experience living here.

What I like about living here is if I have an issue and place a maintenance order they come that day or the next and I never had that at any place I lived and I really love that about living here. They also keep it really nice around the complex.

Been here for 4 years and I have enjoyed it. It’s peaceful at night and the keep up on all the maintenance and it doesn’t take long for someone to come to the apartment if there is an issue.
