Located at the intersection of Interstates 57, 72, and 74 in east central Illinois, Champaign deftly skirts the line between small town and college town. The University of Illinois largely defines the city, with nearly 45,000 students enrolled (the city’s population totals around 85,000); as a result, Champaign is home to a growing sector of tech startups and other entrepreneurial endeavors growing out of the university’s research community and recent graduates.
The rental market includes a number of highly affordable options, including many apartments under $600 per month. Expect your schedule to be packed with community events when you live in Champaign, from the popular and wide-ranging Boneyard arts festival to the Sweetcorn Festival in neighboring Urbana. As the hometown of late movie critic Roger Ebert, Champaign’s historic Virginia Theatre hosts an annual film festival in his honor.

Property Ratings at Town Center Apartments
Not what I expected. Its okay for first starting out. Alot of things were not fixed upon moving into my apartment. The appliances are so old. The paint is peeling and the walls are cracking. The floors were not put down correctly. Its nasty on the inside....& etc.The space is great. Also management is great. I just would say the management should definitely update and remodel the units.

I apologize if you are having any issues. You are welcome to email me at amy.peterson@greenstrealty.com & I will help with anything I can. Thanks
I would bc I love this place but I wouldn’t if it’s based off of this experience alone bc it took more time than expected and the maintenance personnel was busy doing other projects which made him forget about the one he started with me which is not his fault but it can’t always happen that way
I would not recommend this place at all they hang out in the hallways smoking and being loud when I first moved in two days later someone tried to break in my car and the front office did nothing! The park is not up to par for the kids to play and this whole summer the pool was only open like a week. And also a sex offender is registered there and little kids are always out by themselves so in my opinion that isn’t safe
A lot of hallway activity. Overall I see that the new management is doing a great job of addressing the concerns of the community. I would recommend this community now to my family and friends.
I would tell all my friend and family about town center. I love it I have peace and quiet
I would recommend this place to my friend in family. Its a very nice decent building.
The leasing agent was kind and helpful. I noticed there was productive on-site maintenance helping a tenant. The environment seemed peaceful. The apartments and community seemed to be tidy and clean.
I already recommended it to my sister in law. She is family, I liked the community, Emily has been cordial, professional, friendly and reliable. We would love to continue contacting her for all related concerns for our stay in this community
I would not recommend this communtiu due to kids smoking weed in the commumtiy hallway of my apartment on a daily basis and me and my child have to walk through it. I've reported it several times but nothing gets done about it. The dyers in the laundry room don't dry clothes the first and sometimes even the second time around. Unsupervised kids wandering around causing trouble on a daily basis.
The apartments are really nice and the management are nice as well especially Jenny is amazing. It's just that the people that stay in surrounding apartments that I don't like.
Town center is a great place to live. Its a great place for family. Its very family-friendly to live.
