The Worst Apartment Complex due to Rats and Roaches
The attention to detail has been slipping year after year and now and entire building has MICE. The many holes they are using have not been repaired and residents are expected to handle the mouse removal and cleanup. Can;t even use my stove now since mice have been living in there
Looking at the other reviews, it’s obvious they were written by employees. Two different reviews titled “Impressive”? And the one about the good neighborhood is straight-up false. And if your apartment is full of roaches (because they all are, that review is the only accurate one), are you gonna care that the sidewalks are new? But back to the neighborhood. During the year that I lived here, I had my car broken into, called the cops on another would-be car burglar, and was threatened with a gun by a total stranger over a traffic dispute. And I would demand a renovated apartment, because the original doors are literally made of cardboard. They’re designed for indoor use, just a pair of wood panels over a crisscross of cardboard—a 12 year old could kick one down. Finally, maintenance does not give advance notice that they’ll be coming to your apartment. They just show up at your door, shout “Maintenance!”, and then let themselves in with their master key. I usually couldn’t even get to the door before they were unlocking it themselves. TL;DR—This place is not safe. Do not live here if you have any other options.

Sorry for the experience that you had at our complex. We are under new management and are working hard to make the complex a much better and safer place. We have new staff all the way from office and management to maintenance staff. There is nothing we can do about the unsafe neighborhood that is surrounding the complex but we are working really hard to make the complex itself safer.
I have lived here for a while . it’s beautiful on the inside of my apartment but there is a lot of roach issues and it’s not just mine , but my own building is affected . It’s trash outside . They stop completely on the renovations . The managers are amazing and try so hard is the only reason i give 3 stars but pls do an inspection before signing anything .
Love the improvements that have been going on. New sidewalks and walkways new exterior improvements. The design of the newly renovated apartments is nice, clean, and modern.

Town and Country Apartments are undergoing renovations that are really impressive. Love the new apartments. Even if considering their other options, you are not missing out on a great apartment.
This apartment is in a very nice area,close to schools,grocery stores,shopping centers and mall areas. The properties are well maintained.It has on call maintenance service, a washateria. It has a courtyard, a pool with lounge chairs to just go out and relax. Great place to live. Edna W,Monroe La.
My two roommates and I are currently staying in a three bedroom two bath apartment with Town and Country. The apartment itself is very spacious considering the price. The living room and dining area are both large enough to support three tenants and the kitchen is fully furnished with a microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal,and refrigerator. There is a closet for standard size washer dryer units with a storage shelf, as well as a storage closet by the front door for coats and shoes and appliances like vacuum cleaners. The bathrooms are spacious and the bedrooms are comfortably sized. There are two smaller bedrooms and one master bedroom with a private bathroom. All utilities are included in the rent, and basic cable and internet are also included. The complex itself is also impressive. There is a swimming pool, a sand volley ball court, a play area for children with a swing set, a laundry area with plenty of machines, and a trash compactor for the residents to use. The buildings themselves have a welcoming look and the staff members are very friendly. There is a Johnny's Pizza House located within walking distance, a mini mart, and a self storage area. The location of the complex is convenient and the neighborhood is quiet. Town and country is a very short drive to highway 165, which connects to the interstate and Louisville Avenue, a major road that runs through the city with several major businesses.
