Hamden, aka the “Land of the Sleeping Giant,” is a verdant city spanning north of New Haven. This charming city is in a lush, mountainous setting where outdoor recreation abounds. For breathtaking views of the Sleeping Giant, head to its namesake park or explore the rugged terrain at West Rock Ridge and Brooksvale Park. The southern half of Hamden, closest to New Haven, accounts for the busier commercial sections of town. Shopping centers, office complexes, and well-populated residential areas make up most of this side of town. The southern edges of Hamden partially contain both the Southern Connecticut State University Campus and the Albertus Magnus College, making Hamden appealing to those associated with the colleges. Property Ratings at Town Walk at Hamden Hills
Everything is very nice. Very responsive with maintance. They also are fantastic at clearing the snow to ensure we are able to leave in the morning for work.
Town Walk is a great place to live. The rent is very competitive with the marketplace in the greater New Haven area. All services are excellent.
More concerning is the lack of empathy and responsibility in handling emergency situations, which leaves residents feeling unheard and unsupported. It’s frustrating to see these issues go unresolved despite paying high rent, and I hope management improves responsiveness, accountability, and overall performance to create a better living experience for residents.
Everything is clean and well kept. Maintenance is very quick to respond to any problems I’ve had here. Also, actually do preventative maintenance upkeep, such as replacing air filters in heating/cooling air system. Neighbors are responsible and respectful of each other and our shared environment.
I was pleasantly surprised at how nice, helpful, and responsive all of the staff here are. My first time living in an apartment complex and so I am very impressed.

Town walk has been wonderful thus far! Lived here for over a year and just extended our lease. All maintenance requests are fulfilled within a week. The staff is so friendly and kind. Packages are easy to pick up at the mail room. Amenities are great!

The condominium has a good structure with a gym, space for children, space for pets, swimming pool, barbecue areas. The maintenance team is very good, all employees are always ready to help residents. I have lived here for over two years and I recommend living here.

Easy application process. Enjoying so far. Nice and quiet space than old apartment. Helpful and friendly staff in the leasing office. Great amenities.
Rude maintenance staff and did not help with the problem. Plus very slow system for troubleshooting. People do not respond quickly with maintenance issues.
Wonderful community and the neighbors have been extremely welcoming! With 3 children of various ages, we needed a residence that not only entertained them, but was also safe and this is it!
I’ve enjoyed my time living here. The apartment complex is very quiet, which makes it a peaceful place to come home to. Maintenance is friendly and responsive. I think there’s room for improvement in a few areas. The appliances could use some updating—they’re functional, but newer models would definitely enhance the overall experience. Additionally, it would be nice if the carpeting was replaced or refreshed annually to keep things feeling clean and modern. Overall, it’s a great place to live, and these updates would make it even better.

Love the amenities and grounds are well-kept. I like the location as well - very close to shops but far enough away to feel more remote. Maintenance has been friendly and efficient.

This is a comfortable, safe community with so much to offer. Leasing office staff are friendly, too. There’s a lot to do just within the community
Onboarding to new apartment was smooth and the staff super helpful. End to end process did not take more than a day once we confirmed the house .
Only been here for a week but our apartment is in pretty good condition and when we needed help from maintenance they were in and out super quickly
Nice environment for living. Quite and peaceful but some of the staff has to improve their communication skills. Also time to time the trash can is full hard to throw our trash.
So far so good. I am a new resident here just moved here as of last week. It was a smooth transition from applying to finally moving in. Andrew was easy to work with and I am slowly but surely getting settled. The community so far is nice and quiet.
After staying at at TW at Hamden Hills for several months, I can proudly say that I would give the living situation here 5 stars! With a secure way to retrieve non-amazon packages, a friendly community, and very respectful staff, it is honestly great being here.

Everything is great here, the amenities are so great, apartments are clean, and all the neighbors are so nice! it really is a great place to live!
It's a natural environment, there are trails nearby, and a small pond on the premises. Mint Mobile doesn't have a signal. I've called for rescue staff during the day, and they came right away and solved the problem. There are many children and elderly couples, and residents are friendly so it is a very comfortable place to live.
Very easy move in process. Maintenance helped out with some minor issues like sink draining and broken blind panel. But apartment was very clean upon move in
Some of the communications of repaving were confusing and I wish it was better communicated or someone answered my email I sent, but it looks really nice now that it is done.
The condominium is always making new improvements, such as repaving the asphalt and cleaning the balconies. Whenever I needed to use the maintenance service, the employees were always very helpful and ready to help.

Our community has been pretty good!! The fire alarm has only been pulled twice within the last few months!! I have complained about my washer machine smelling…they came to clean it about 2-3 wks ago but it’s beginning to smell again!!! I think it has not been replaced in quite a few years!!! The maintenance staff are all wonderful & very helpful!!

It was nice to live here, but they keep raising the fees. Also the parking situation is bad. Sometimes I can’t find a spot and it’s taken by non resident cars.

Recently moved into this apartment community and have nothing but great things to say. It is a calm and quiet area with amazing amenities and activities for community engagement. All staff I’ve met have been great and I love that the leasing office is open on a Saturday.

’ve been living in this apartment community for a while now, and overall, it’s been a positive experience. The location is convenient, with easy access to shopping, dining, and public transportation. The maintenance team is responsive and addresses issues promptly. The amenities, like the gym and pool, are well-maintained and add value to the living experience. The apartment itself is spacious with a modern layout. Noise levels are generally low, although you can occasionally hear neighbors, which is expected in any apartment living situation. No complaints. The amenities are well kept up and haven't needed to contact anyone for apartment maintenence recently. Some of the additions for the amenities are nice.
