Property Ratings at Lexington
I have been living at Lexington Apartments, and it has been nothing short of incredible. From the moment I moved in, the management team has been welcoming, responsive, and professional. Tracey and Ashlyn are the absolute best managers—always friendly, approachable, and willing to go above and beyond to ensure residents feel at home. The apartments themselves are modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. The kitchen is equipped with top-notch appliances, and the open layout makes it perfect for entertaining. The natural light flooding through the large windows is a bonus! The amenities are another standout feature. The fitness center is well-maintained with a great variety of equipment, and the pool area is a serene oasis. There’s even a cozy lounge
Horrible management. Building ac and electrical are complete crap and you can forget washing your clothes with the machines they have. They are always down. There's no gym and the pool STAYS CLOSED.
I was told if I changed my mind on renting from them I would receive my deposit back. I called and no one will return my calls or send my money. I have been trying for 2 months to contact them
I lived here for a year. Within that time, the property changed management 3 times! First while we were applying for our apartment. They were completely unorganized not to mention, told us our apartment was ready and it was not. This was my boyfriend and I’s first apartment. I feel they took advantage of it being our first time. When we moved into our home, that first day, it was completely filthy. Not only that but our a/c was broken. The office was closed so maintenance couldn’t fix it until that next day. After moving in, we tried to stay there I mean who doesn’t want to stay in their new home! But it was too hot and we stayed else where until the a/c was fixed. The night we officially stayed I tried cooking dinner and noticed our oven wouldn’t heat up. So my boyfriend pulled it away from the wall and saw that it was unplugged. This being on our own for the first time thought we could just plug it in. My boyfriend ended up being electrocuted in his hand and dropped the plug, it then popped and sparked. We immediately called the emergency maintenance and someone came out that next morning. Living here was extremely frustrating. The apartments are a very old complex and you can tell in the apartments however, They are spacious and the property has a lot of floor plans to choose from. The location of my apartments was by one of the property’s pools, behind the office. It was never cleaned and my boyfriend and I swam in it maybe twice the whole time we lived there. The location of these apartments are also in a bad part of town. Meaning a lot of crime. I borrowed my moms car for a few days while mine was being worked on and that first night, someone tried breaking in. I wasn’t aware until that next morning. While driving to work I noticed the window was pulled away from the roof. I immediately called the apartments office and they told me that they do not have cameras and basically told me they could not do anything but that I could park by the office since it was lighted (where I was parked) and that a police car patrols the area at night. After that incident I couldn’t wait to leave. I can’t tell you enough how excited I was to leave this place. I hope this review helps you.
If I could give 0 stars I would ! DO NOT MOVE HERE ! Looks nothing like the pictures..Do not let the front office lady fool you into thinking this is the place to be ! They will tell you they have washer hookups ONLY SOME UNITS DO..once you move in you later find out that they only use STACKABLES so now you have to either rent them from someplace or buy a new air of washer and dryers...Once you're moved in they WILL NOT FIX ANYTHING or TREAT YOU WITH RESPECT..but will threaten to evict you on the 4th if your rent is late... 75 dollars starting late fees! During the hurricane a lot of people where out of work for 3weeks..they only took off late fees for the month of the hurricane not the month after where people where just getting back home and to their jobs meaning they didn't have a pay check to give ! The office staff is RUDE AND WILL HANG UP IN YOUR FACE without listening, reasoning or being professional ! It's all about $$$$..the gates are broken to your patio, and there is only one lit parking lot the rest is PITCH BLACK in this HIGHCRIME AREA , but she will tell you to make sure to lock your doors to your cars..there's always knats and ants but they CLAIM they spray every month and you're also being charged a fee every month , pot holes all over the property that will damage your car ! Looks can be deceiving , I've been here a year and the very things She promised to address when moving in still exist ! Bathroom has been out of order half of my leasing term and they have yet to fix it but still ask for rent! Total rip off ! DON'T MOVE HERE RUNNNNN AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY! Worst place in Beaumont don't be uncomfortable for a year because of the conveint location and price ! Don't do it... My neighbors were nice though ..and warned me of plumbing issues and the Office Manager..

This place looks amazing in the pictures, but there is a high crime rate. My car got broken into on numerous times. One times the crooks even busted out my window. The front office could care less. Gwendolyn the apt manager was BEYOND rude. Every monthlong they would try and say I owed more or that my rent was late when In fact it never was. My ac unit went out and it took them 5 months to fix it and when they did they just left the old unit on my patio. This place is not worth the price.
Don't let the images or list of amenities deceive you. I've lived here the for three years and woe love to find the apartments they show in the pictures. While they do look like the brick images in the pictures they must have had someone out ensuring that everything was perfect for those pictures. My apt and my surrounding neighbors all have old carpet in our units no hard wood floors. The well lit areas don't exist, I've asked to have both my outside light replaced, the actual wiring is bad, it's been two years without outside lights. Most of the patio fences are in poor condition and falling down. The guest parking means that residents have to give up their parking as their is no way to tell who lives here. If there is a courtesy officer on dirty 24/7 I've never seen them, usually I have to cal the real cops to tell those with active life styles to turn their music off at 2 in the morning. These apartments are a joke and you'd be best looking elsewhere.
This was my first apartment on my own, not only was i attracted to the house feeling not having to go up steps but they have those too!! I chose a one bedroom one bath the units have two doors front and back and a closed in private patio i was madly in love . The complex is quite and well lit at night but the lights don't penetrate the windows to badly. There are TWO POOLS, covered parking for some and laundry faculties on site and there are also washer and dryer hook ups in the units. Spacious living room and bed room i just love my apartment!!!!
