Property Ratings at Towne Park Apartments
We had to call corporate many times before getting in to see an apartment. No response from the office to the voicemails and email I sent. Once we lived here there was a problem with moisture, condensation, and mold that was never fixed. We had many maintenance issues that took too long to be addressed. Additionally, the management has no consideration for any tenants. This is evident by the lack of communication, the piles of garbage (broken kitchen appliances, furniture past tenants left behind, etc.) that the maintenance workers leave behind the dumpster (fully aware that the trash removal company will not remove any garbage outside of the dumpster), and the comical notes that get taped to all main entrances and each individual apartments. It’s a shame there are not nicer apartments in Preble County.
I had to call the corporate office just to view the apartment I wanted to rent because the office manager NEVER answered the phone. I finally was able to communicate with her due to pressure from corporate. When I finally spoke with her she lied to me which prompted me to call corporate again. When I tell people where I live, they joke and say that they have tried to view the apartments but they could not get a call back from management, lol. The office hours are posted near the entrance of the office, but there is rarely anyone in there. This is usually not a problem because the apartments are lovely, the neighbors are great (usually there is a lot of vacancy so traffic is minimal), and the apartments are located in a safe location. However, I have been calling and leaving messages with the manager and the emergency maintenance number provided on my lease due to my refrigerator not working. Guess what, it has been over a week and maintenance nor the manager have called me back to schedule a time to fix it. I am very disappointed because I lost about $150 worth of groceries. I am extremely dissatisfied / angry! This warrants another call to corporate. I do not want a reputation of being nasty, but what am I to do? I will not renew my lease although this apartment complex is the cleanest and safest in Eaton, Ohio.
