Property Ratings at TOWNES AT UNIVERSITY
The old maintenance team used to come by a lot faster to check out our problems but now, if you ask for maintenance, no one comes. One night I woke up to the smell of acetone in our entire place. Found out it was coming from the bathroom pipes. Called and asked for maintenance. The lady said she will put a work order in but it’s been months and still nothing. I looked it up and ended up fixing it myself. Our AC is constantly broken, dishwasher leaks, stove only fully works when you mess with the burner, and our bathroom paint is also chipping from cheap paint. We also asked about it and they can’t repaint it for us until we move out. And to top it off, the dumpsters are always full. So full that we had to place our trash NEXT to the dumpster where people had already created a pile. The smell was horrible. We also have roaches. I keep our place clean and we also spray bug spray around our place every now and then but I’m starting to see small baby roaches and its disgusting. It’s not their fault because our neighbors are probably dirty but they need to spray more often. Overall, this place is livable for someone who doesn’t have a lot of money or is trying to save up. The office people are very friendly but the apartment is just old and needs ALOT of work and bug spray. People are friendly around here but you’ll see crowds of kids or adults just hanging in the parking area a lot which is annoying when you’re coming home from work and just wants to park your car quickly to go home. Hope this helps!
Property management sucks bigtime. Roach motel before I moved in and roach motel after the fact. What you save in rent, you more than pay for in aggravation. Keep it moving, this place isn't worth the time or the effort. Mike
I am a resident & totally hate this place. The apartments are good but the staff/maintenance is horrible. If anything is wrong in your apartment they will not fix it in a timely manner. I have one bathroom & they did not come fix it for close to 3 days. Even after I called their "emergency after hours number" 3 times & called the office. having problem after problem requesting out of my lease because of their lack of care for their tenets they declined & said I could turn my keys in but still pay rent!?!? I would NOT recommend this place.
If your looking for a clam place to live please don't move in here , theres roaches , bedbugs , roofing leakage & a really rude management group starting with mary .. they wont fix anything broken or damaged . youll have to be constantly telling them to ,prices need to be updated on this website also.
These apartments is a very humble community to live in. Staff members are always very attentive and care for your safety. Neighbors as well are very friendly. Staff members are always cleaning making sure the community is safe and clean! Really recommend these apartments. Apartments are clean when you move in, they change the carpet and make a deep cleaning of apartment. Highly recommended.
I been here for 3 years and I can't complain! Apartment in great shape, I love staying here great staff and more! If u looking for a place to call home here is the place????
Horrible Horrible place to live all because of the property manager that takes up for the rental office manager and her unprofessional tendencies. I lived in a 1 bedroom townhouse for 3 years and when i moved out they never changed the carpet only cleaned it for the next tenants eww. The property owner does not know about the complaints that tenants have this has been confirmed by the maintenance crew. If you have any complaints the best thing you can do is do your research and find the property owners contact information like i did and let him know. He also owns Maple Run and The apartments across from T.U.P. Cheap rent but you get exactly what you pay for.
PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE! These apartments should not still be open, they are raggedy, no insulation, bugs, smoke detectors do not work and they don't care to fix them.. the list goes on and on. They give you this lengthy book of a lease agreement that has a lot of stuff so they can rob you of your security deposit they have no intention of giving back at all when you leave, Staff is loud and rude if you have any issues to address, go elsewhere.. thank me later
nice apartments for a great price !!! office is very helpfull
the apartment's are very large in size, lot's of storage and the price inst bad
This place has poor management, is roach infested, has poor plumbing and I'd consider it as an area for certain type of individuals. The worst place I've rented. The neighborhood is fair, close to many businesses for your needs, they have a pool they don't use, they don't recycle. It's not a place I'd recommend, because it doesn't feel like "Home," you may not feel safe and secure.
