Property Ratings at Townhouse Apartments
The management has no communication skills. Very load and disruptive hallways. Parts of management are rude and unavailable to tend to tenants for major or minor disputes.
This place is horrible seriously! Don't ever move here! I've been here for not even a year and I already can't wait to move out when my lease it up! This place is so so dirty no one ever cleans up, elevators are so gross and they do nothing about it. Dumpster is overflowing with mattresses and couches every day there's the smell of weed threw out every hall way. Management does not care about you at all they always yup you and say okay we'll get to it then you never hear back. There's literally never anywhere to park but in your lease you pay for parking and never can find any so your made to always park on the street. Something every week is broken here and not fixed for months. There's no room for kids to play or do anything fun. If I was you I would not move here for the prices they ask for you think it was be a pretty NIce place right? WRONG! Don't waste your time and your money coming here you'll regret it!
Poor building materials makes it seem like you are living in a frat house workout room 24/7. When you come home from work all you want to do is relax but there is no place here to do that. You hear every single noise and feel every single chill from outside because the windows are so horrible you might as well have them open, no amount of window plastic will help because the frame is not sealed properly or even adequately. It constantly feels like someone is running on a treadmill or jump roping because the building is always vibrating therefor forget getting a solid nights sleep, ever. People let there kids constantly run all over the building making it feel and sound like a herd of buffalo are in here, the people above one of my friends on a upper floor has wood flooring and they didn't disclose that before she signed the lease, so if you are desperate enough to want to live in a building that isn't a good place to come home to much less relax in, then make sure you ask every single question you need answered because the management will not tell you anything willingly. Management/ownership has been changed several times in the last couple of years. Now with the new company the maintenance will knock on your door eeeeeaaaarly in the morning after a snow storm to tell you to move your car out of the parking lot-even if you don't have a car! My friend upstairs and I are moving to a different place in whitman when our leases are up because it's a nice little place and the kids are always walking around in groups so it seems safe but this building is an old factory (or so I've been told) and it shows that it wasn't meant for residential purposes. There is no easy access to the city, you have to drive a while on side streets to get to a major route. This is a smoking building and you can tell because they keep the ashtrays right in front of the doors and smokers take that as an invitation to sit there and smoke, so whether you like it or not you have to walk right through it to get in the building and the ashtray is always smoking even if there aren't any people there smoking because they don't put their cigarettes out and they continue burn while in the ashtray. You won't be able to open your windows if you live near the entrances. I hope the management sees this and changes the things they can but the shaky building is not something that can be fixed.
My search was a difficult one, my daughter was born with Spina Bifida, she uses a wheelchair to get where she needs to go. So apartment hunting can be long and seem hopeless. I came here knowing they had an elevator( in this area its had to find apartments that have elevators). The staff here are always so helpful and understanding, and maintains staff always available, for the biggest or the smallest problems. They help me with my daughter making sure she has paths to get in and out of the building when we have snow. It also has parking all around the building, and a parking garages. storage units available if you need for space, all apartments have 9 foot ceiling and large windows that let in so much sun light in. They have many different layouts that can suit want you need, looking for. It was perfect! I was even amaze how close it was to everything I need. Its with in walking distance to the center of town where there are shops, restaurants, bars, the town hall, post office and commuter rail( for all of you city worker!!) all with in a 15 minute walk for the complex. This is a great place to get in to the city fast without fighting traffic. Not to mention, there is a beautiful public park right in the center that has a little of everything for everyone, baseball diamond, basketball court, playground, walking paths, pool, and fields so you can have picnics, or sledding in the winter. If your looking for a small town living, but work in the city this is perfect for you!
