Property Ratings at Townsend Square
The management staff does not communicate well when it comes to get thing fixed in the apartment had to call corporate 2 or 3 to get something done in all my times being here
Townsend is a really good community. What really like about this community is they communicate with you no matter what.
Townsend has been a good community to live in. I feel safe in the community, and management has been very professional and kind. The rates are truly affordable, and you get good treatment for the value.
There are some minor problems with the interior but overall it's affordable and a nice quiet place to live.
In you are new to the State DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! If you have family that likes to come chill with you. DO NOT MOVE HERE! If you have a vehicle DO NOT MOVE HERE! And if you like to have a good relationship with your landlord or management team DO NOT MOVE HERE!
Great apartment if you are starting out. Very close to everything you need!
Very nice apartments, and great community feel. Clean, inviting and comfortable atmosphere with easy access to the VCR trail for walking/biking.
Horrible place to live. Would never recommend
As a new tenant, I'm extremely frustrated with my stay so far. It's only been a couple of months, and apartment living has its pros and cons. But I despise being lied to by staff. When I visited the property, I specifically asked about how the water bill was calculated, because all the different communities seemed to be run differently regarding water. I was told I would only pay for the water I used in my apartment. As a single person on a budget, this was very important to me. The leasing agent knew that my daughter was in college and not staying in the apartment but I was told because it was a tax credit property I had to list her on the lease. Now I'm paying over $40 a month for water because it's divided out based on how many people are on each lease in the building! So I am required to pay usage of 2 people (no, my dog doesn't shower) and the residents who have people living there and not on the lease? That unit doesn't have to pay for their water? When I asked about it, I got the standard CYA answer "did you read the water addendum in your lease"? Forget that the dog park is a nasty mess, you bomb for roaches to find they return, and parking isn't controlled as promised, because that is typical apartment living. The lying and CYA is just more than I can ignore. Lesson to self.....don't trust anything they tell you in the leasing office unless you keep a notebook and have them sign off on conversations.
I have live here for almost two years now and it has been a great experience I have never live in apartments before, until my son was born in 2013. TSA is a very calm and family oriented environment to live in and to raise your little ones. It has an outstanding maintenance staff very friendly, and the apartments are moderate and spacious, overall it has been a great experience to live here.
It's a nice place for how much we pay but the management company could use improvements. The ground are always clean and kept up and the people are friendly. Great for a first apartment renter.
