Traditions at South

My stay here has been decent, no problem with the management team, except my roomate is extremely dirty. When I first moved on I requested a different apartment but was denied.

I really enjoyed my stay at Traditions at South while pursuing school there. All the people at the front counter have been really nice and helpful. From here, I have easy access to the entire campus.

The whole fire vender situation is obnoxious but it’s my only complaint. Other than that it’s all good and I am very happy with my experience

Living here has need great the staff is super friendly and the room mates have been great it’s close to everything and easy to access well worth renting here

Overall a good starting place for people getting into college. It has everything you'll need and the front desk and maintenance are quick to respond. The worse is getting paired with annoying roommates, but living here is worth it. Especially for the price

It has been great living here this year because the new management has been making improvements around the complex also has been great as the property manager with helping the residents.

Love living here , it’s so comfortable and close to shopping and great food. Fun atmosphere with great staff who always jump to help with a problem.

Where do I even begin with this place......? In the entire year+ that I lived there not a month went buy where there wasn't some sort of issue. It started with me and roommate moving in and the stove and A/C not even being put together, we were told by the assistant manager that they shouldn't have even given us the keys. There was also the time when maintenance/cleaning just decide that they would come into our apartment unannounced at 8am , the manager at that time told us there was basically nothing we could do about it. There was also the shooting that occured.... Traditions barely acknowledged that it happened and did almost nothing to keep it from happening again. Then about 2ish months after moving out of this hell hole I got a call from a collections agency stating that I still owed them money, they never once tried to call or even email me about this balance. They then "lost" the check that I had brought them and failed to notify me of this lost and instead put a collection against mine and my moms credit. After bringing them a second check and going as far as videoing handing it over to them they supposedly "lost" that check also. Come to find out that they credited it to the current tenant of that apartment. It literally took over 3 months to get this taken care because the employees here can't seem to do their job or act in a timely/ professional manner at all. To top all of this off the manager/ assistant manager/ and the office staff positions were constantly having new people rotate in and out. If you can find somewhere else to live I highly recommend that you do!!

It’s great I’m always receiving my packages on time. The workers come and fix whatever I need in my apartment when I call the front office. Overall it’s just a great complex to stay in & a quiet area majority of the time

Overall the experience has been okay. The noise can get out of hand but what do you expect with a whole bunch of college students. Maintenance always gets done in a timely manner, is the work good, that's questionable.

I moved into traditions last year, I love it here and have renewed my lease once already! My experience here has been great! My only complaint was because we had a noise issue with our downstairs neighbors but the leasing manager helped us immediately and the issue was resolved within the month!

I'm giving you 2 stars because you did take care of a few things at the beginning. But after things settled down you have still not taken care of my door in a timely manner...it's been 2 months since I requested my door to be fixed. You want rent paid on time, and I would like a door that locks for my safety and privacy. My roommates can get in my room with their key.

It's pretty chill, they should provide front door mats in my opinion but otherwise good facility. Service is good too. They need more up to date gym facilities but again, it's good for what it is.

If you are a parent, do not trust this organization with your child. If you are a student looking for housing located conveniently near campus, look elsewhere. If you are determined to make your home at Traditions, you might want to go ahead and buy some blackout curtains. This father’s money and time would have absolutely been spent better elsewhere and I regret having ever heard of Traditions at South. I have been trying unsuccessfully for 14 months to get help from management in addressing bedroom temps of 78-83 degrees in an otherwise cool apartment. I even offered to bring my own appliance and was referred to their lawyers. I am not in the habit of writing negative reviews but find it necessary in this instance to warn others about his company. Feel free to google Ascent and you will find my position to be a common one. T Taranto

The price is affordable and it’s close to campus. The room needs to be inspected before someone moves in. The first apartment they assigned me to the people had animals, and it was very dirty.

great apartments and environment love the staff and amenities the apartments provide would definitely recommend to the college students here

My experience so far has been exemplary.. The office staff has been very friendly and when I have a question, they are always there to help.. Awesome people

It is so good the apartment is so beautiful and cozy , it’s good environment for college students to study cause it’s so calm and there is no noise at all

The service has been super nice and maintenance has been super quick and efficient. The study rooms are clean and nice to focus and study in.

I really enjoy living at Traditions so far because of the location and how cute the facilities are. Of course, every apartment complex is going to have some things they can improve, but my overall experience with Traditions has been good. They work well with you when attempting to fix issues and the staff are quite helpful. The only complaint I have is having to pay for parking monthly. I thought it would be a one time fee but it is not so that was disappointing but otherwise, I really like it so far.

I have liked this place so far my roommates are great and friendly people and we are quite like-minded, the staff is super friendly and willing to help me with any question I have, and were able to locate a room for me after the first room turned out to have an animal and they were able to help accommodate my needs and were careful with my allergies, honestly so far a great place to live as well the maintenance staff were great and quick being able to fix the issues in our apartment quickly and with little hassle.

Good place,and great location, cause u can walk, around the university, the people is friendly, the new rommies, r good people too,all the places R close to u, is better and comfortable live here 100%recommended..

I absolutely love living here! It’s so nice and cozy and right across from the University of South Alabama so I can walk to class! Would recommend to any student!

Best college building ever! They treat you like a human, staff is the nicest. Rooms are clean during moving in day, pool is always on the right temperature and its all worth it

I live in flat 233 now. I am renting the property because purchasing a house would be way out of my budget. The flat is good for living in and it has everything I need, including a kitchen and a bathroom. Also, ventilation is very good which is helpful for good health. Moreover, the security policy is effective for living. I liked their hospitality with the customer which was a good bonding with proprietor to consumer. The most beautiful thing about Tradition is swimming pool, position and view. Moreover, their gym facilities are wonderful, which is good for health. But, there is some limitation on their Wi-Fi connection policy from the beginning. But this issue has been resolved once they suggested the way forward about it. They should be taking some initiating about the cleanliness on the accommodation arena which will be make this tradition at south as a sweet dream accommodation to living standards at Mobile, Alabama. I wish tradition at south good future in accommodation era.

Haven’t had much time to decide as right now, but I’m enjoying my stay now. Apartment clean, spacious, and I love the pool. Getting to know my roommates. They are nice and friendly. The staff are very helpful.

Everything is great now. When I moved into Traditions on the first day, my room was clean and tidy. The staff have always been friendly and helpful.

I've been living in this apartment for a while now, and while there are some things I like, I have to say the water situation is really disappointing. My water has been consistently cold, and it's incredibly frustrating, especially as we're heading into the colder months. I've reported the issue multiple times, but nothing has been done to fix it. I believe management should prioritize this issue and take action to resolve it. A warm shower shouldn't be too much to ask for. Until this gets addressed, it's hard to fully enjoy living here.

I love living here so far but I wish management was better. I still need something fixed and it hasn’t been fixed yet and I’ve contacted them.

The overall layout of the rooms and apartment are great for privacy and/or hanging out with roommates or friends. The private room and bathroom are convenient for residents and guests.

The prices to connect to internet is so confusing and hard, but the rest of apartment stuff is good, I love the furniture in apartments but the kitchen is too small

Staff was friendly on move in day. The apartments themselves were not deep cleaned well before move in and some appliances are run down. The apartments are nice, there just needs to be better upkeep.

My move in went smooth. The front office workers were very helpful. The room is a great size. Wifi setup was easy. Looking forward to a great stay.

Nice rooms , nice facilities. Wifi is non - existent. You will definitely need a router of some sort. I enjoy the gym and the proximity to campus.

poor, tried to cancel my lease. they did let me move rooms but still very disappointed in the switch in management. It doesnt seem like they can hold managers for long.

The staff here is super helpful , I had a few maintenance issues come up and they got them handled so quickly . Love living at traditions. The amenities are fabulous and you can’t beat the location to local food fun and shopping .

Just getting moved in, but I have been pleasantly surprised with the ease and kindness the staff has shown me. While it did take a second to get my furniture corrected, they dealt with it for me in a graceful manner.

Very friendly staff. Apartment’s are furnished. Pool is very nice. Location is convenient. So far I’ve been very pleased with my location.

It is very quiet and peaceful . Neighbors are nice and friendly. We enjoy the pool. The staff is very helpful. The answer any questions that I have.

I just moved in like a week ago. Everything seems fine till now. I have a 4x4 bedroom plan, and it is really good. But rent could be somewhat lower because of space lacking.

Absolutely amazing and chill place with a great pool! Everyone’s nice in the front office too! I would absolutely recommend this place over and over again!

It is a nice place to live, I wish they had single rooms, but the maintenance service is fast, reception very friendly, they watch out a lot for bad behavior and are sanctioned that is good.

Pretty sure there is black mold on my ceiling in my room. WiFi sucks you have to have a lan cable or you won’t be able to connect. Pool is nice though.

Everything was easy to do and I had no problem moving in my stuff. I feel like the doors takes to long to lock and unlock. Other than that the room and the area is good.
