Holland and Zeeland are neighboring towns in western Michigan off the shore of Lake Michigan. Most of the area is rural and filled with wooded spaces and farmland, but the commercial parts of Holland/Zeeland are situated between both towns in the southern section of Highway 31. The commercial section of town features plenty of modern amenities and entertainment like hotels, restaurants, big-box stores, grocers, and more. A theme park, gardens, and trails along Macatawa River are located in the area as well. More outdoor recreation is provided by Lake Michigan and Grand Rapids, which is only 30 miles northwest.

Property Ratings at Traditions of Holland
The new owners, who bought us at the beginning of the year, have raised the rent but have been neglecting taking care of the community. I'm disgusted with the way this place has deteriorated since purchase. The previous management team finally put a lot of work into making this a decent place to live. That is no longer the situation. They must think that since we are being renovated in March 2023, it's fine to neglect their responsibilities (obligations by our lease contract) until then. I feel we are owed reimbursements from all full months rent but no service.
The staff is unprofessional and maintenance is not well kept! The neighborhood it self needs to be cleaned up and better managed.
The apartments are nice enough. The 2-3 bedroom are like townhouses. However, the management rarely follows up on phone messages and renters are very noisy-lots of kids, messy trash, loud car stereos, Section 8 with no jobs. Was nice when I moved in 3 years ago but not so much now.
