Uptown Houston comprises the area east of Interstate 610 between I-10 and I-69, a large swath of the city that blends the relaxed pace of the suburbs with urban glitz and energy. One of the area’s most famous attractions is the stunning Galleria, the largest shopping mall in Texas, which employs thousands in its high-end boutiques. Nearby, a thriving dining and entertainment district supplies the neighborhood with an eclectic variety of off-hours attractions. The sprawling Memorial Park sits right across the highway, and locals love to stroll through the Houston Arboretum and hit the links of the Memorial Park Golf Course.
The local housing market ranges from single-family homes to high-rise condominiums, with many surprisingly affordable apartments in the mix as well; while the section closest to Interstate 610 and the Galleria tends to be more urbanized, most of the neighborhood is suburban in nature.

Property Ratings at Trafalgar
Great location and management staff (Emma and Mandy) are always willing to do what they can to take care of you! The new maintenance staff also are quick and efficient.
Love the apartment, residents, and aesthetics. But the staff here is very unprofessional, condescending, and ignorant. Ive dealt with my apartment complex leasing agents and these folks take the cake. Ill give you 5 stars in being rude and shady. Fix your staff immediately. All the way on down to your maintenance staff. I haven't met more ignorant and rude staff. You get the worst rating i can give. Negative 5 stars.
They talk you into a 15 month lease, but tow your car away when your parking sticker expires on the first day of the 13th month. Very old dilapidated property. Nothing works right.
Nasty place to live Trashy ugly and poor maintenance
This is the worst apartment ever, I am upset against everything, its build in 1962, everything is distasting, rats everywhere, trash, unclean inside and outside, and the staff at the Office are useless, unhelpful, a lot of problems everyday in the kitchen, bathroom and the electricity too, my car been towed it three times. I am 100% regret to get the contract with this apartment.
Constant roof leaks, non-existent management, and shady business practices. In addition to persistent roof leaks and damage to my personal property, we had roach problems and loud, inconsiderate neighbors during the last few years of my living here. They illegally collected a water and trash fee, despite a lease that stated those costs would be included in the rent, and no one is ever in the office for you to talk about any issues you may have. I finally moved out recently and had to threaten legal action to recover my deposit, it took over two months and they still refused to refund part of my deposit, saying they have no record of me paying it, despite my providing a copy of the deposited check from over 7 years ago! So glad, I was finally in a position to move into a much nicer place rather than make a lateral move. Stay far away from this place, don't be seduced by the location or price! Run!
Website says : "Call us today! There is always someone to take your call" Guess what we called and no one picked since they were closed. they are only open on first Saturdays of month!! I can only imagine how horrible must be there service which means below reviews about management must be true!
"Management" is never available, and they have a new person every 3 months. The owners of this property obviously do not care for their employees much less their tenants. Some areas are infested with cockroaches and fleas. Noise levels are so disruptive...just a horrible property!!!
Pretty on the outside but antedeluviian on tge inside. Built in 1985. Constantly have air conditioner problems such as not cooling or water leaking under carpet; sewer pipes back up or break every year and last year they left raw sewage leak into the sidewalk to units for days. Maintenance is horrible..leave messages at office but they ignore them so have to go tell them. Dryers are constantly broken and water leaks from a washer that should have been removed long ago. Slippery when wet. They made cosmetic ipgrades to the outside using cheap company that left a mess every where that nobody picked up.thet left my outside lamp hanging on a string and painted over scotch tape on the door. They finally redid the parking lot that had huge potholes. I am still bringing inpieces of Asphalt on my shoes which drop off on my carpet and then i have to vacuum every day. They keep raising the rent every year and the lastest is a fee for trash. Finally, the ladscaping inside is either dead or dying and areas where dead plants were removed are full of weeds or as in front of my apt, empty. The plants have not been replaced. Every 6 months or so they change managers. I could go on and on but you get the picture. The only saving grace is that it is conveniently located and it is quiet.
Heed the warning...this apartment complex is terrible. If I could give it no stars, I would. No one answers the phone, the voice mail is always full, and calls/emails are not returned. You can never catch the manager in the office, when there is a consistent manager. Lately the managers have been dropping like flies. Now the owner is trying to force residents to pay an additional monthly fee for water and trash, which is not included in the original lease. They are sneaky here, and nothing is done by the book. If you move here, get EVERYTHING in writing, but save yourself the hassle and just don't move here...
Absolutely the worst place I've ever lived. There were cockroaches in the dishwasher and a permanent stain in the bathtub. Never felt comfortable bathing there because the tub was completely cramped. The manager, Sarah, towed our car and took our pets to the pound. We will never forgive her for this. There are opossums, cockroaches, and fleas all over the property. The laundry rooms are filthy and the machines don't work. It is a miserable existence here.
The current manager, Sarah, is awful... Rude, disrespectful, and thinks she's better than others. Not willing to listen, is not kind nor helpful... I lived here for over 5 years (always paid on time, never complained, was a very good tenant!) and moved out because of her. Don't rent here, she'll make it miserable...
I love the neighborhood and I love the security but parking is terrible lately. There are a few times where I have to park my car all the way down the street after the recent parking changes. It seems that the parking lots are half full but now all the cars that were kicked out have to park on the street leaving no place for the rest of us without a garage space to park, especially coming back home late at night.
I have lived in the area for almost three years and this is the first year I have lived in Trafalgar. It is a great environment away from the craziness of the area. The management is great as well they are always helpful and get things fixed right away
I love my place here and it is also close to my work. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff is excellent! My recent maintenance issue was resolved very quickly and with no problems.
I have lived here for 8 years now and while there has been different office managers, the current manager has made changes that has been for the best interest of the community! While I am sure management can not make everyone happy, their goal is to create a great overall living environment! Which they have. It is quite and quaint. This is not just an apartment to me, it's my home! If you are looking for nice community, in a great location, with wonderful neighbors and office/maintenance staff; then you have found the right place!
Things look bright when you sign the contract then sudden policy changes turn your world upside down. There have been 3 different managers the past 2 years each one creating a different mess
