If you want to live close to Indianapolis but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle of a large city, Millersville is the place for you. The neighborhood lies northeast of the city, just 12 short minutes from downtown Indianapolis when driving. Millersville is a large village tucked away in the Fall Creek Valley. It consists of several smaller neighborhoods, but the village is a close-knit community offering a variety of special events. Residents enjoy walking and biking the Fall Creek Trail, which leads to Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park.
Millersville can also be a great home to people who love being surrounded by nature. The many lakes here such as Lake Kesslerwood and Mallard Lake add beauty to the neighborhood and encourage residents to go out and explore the land. A group called Millersville at Fall Creek Valley Inc. has set out to help preserve and promote the natural beauty and history of the neighborhood.

Property Ratings at Trails at Lakeside
The reason Trails gets 2 stars is because Teri actually does her job (besides trying to finesse me once but I forgive) and maintenance comes in a timely fashion when you put in a request. However, all other things get 0 stars. From the jump a nasty taste was put in my mouth when I was charged $25 for leaving my trash on the porch for 2 hours while I washed my clothes at the laundromat. I paid because I had no choice and we all had been notified before, but I thought we’d have an opportunity to take the trash considering the dumpster is clear across the complex. To make matters worse, the compactor/dumpster literally overflows every single week for at least 2 days. It smells so bad and looks terrible. Additionally, when I moved in the top of my refrigerator was grey from dust and there was fruit cocktail left in the parking lot for at least 2 months. The pool was closed 80% of the summer which is part of the very few amenities we are paying for. Let’s not fail to mention there is no business center, no ice makers, no washer and dryers and no lights come installed in the bedrooms (at least not in building 12 or 13). To leave a nasty taste in my mouth they have tried to charge me $65 for having to bleach the carpet which was left spotless and $110 for a dirty stove and dishes left in the cabinets. However, I did a final run through ensuring everything was cleaned and cleared out. I wasn’t going to leave a review but that final bill was the final straw. I truly wish my experience was better considering the situation that brought me to them. But in the end, they only added to the painful and stressful situation I was in.
This apartment complex sucks. The management here is horrible. The renovations were poorly done. They slapped on a new counter top on the old one. I called and left a message about my filter being filthy and after a week of not hearing anything I had to call again. Their walls are poorly insulated. On new years day my apartment flooded with 2 inches of water in every room. A lot of my things r ruined. My carpets are still wet and my whole apartment now reeks of mildew which is making me sick. I have a bad cough and feel like there is something in my chest. My dog is also breathing it in. They didn't help me with any of the clean up. My bathtub freezes from the poorly insulated walls and my walk in closet is freezing cold even with the heat on 72. My bed is in my living room right now because the bedroom smells horrible. Water comes out of electrical outlets. The dumpster is over flowing out into the road and its disgusting. I suggest u look elsewhere for a place to live and do not move in here.
We moved in last summer at the recommendation of a friend, but unbeknownst to both parties new management had taken over. The apartment was billed as newly renovated, and it did have new appliances. However all the other updates were cheap cosmetic fixes like a new coat of spray paint on the counters(which they weren't very neat about keeping from getting on the sinks and cabinets.) Within 24 hours of moving in we realized that the air conditioning wasn't working. Even with the windows open, fans on and the temperature only in the 70s the nights were unbearably stuffy and hot. It took them 3 weeks and repeated calls to fix that. Unfortunately it was just the beginning. We've dealt with cracks in the bottom of the bathtub, leaky faucets, doors coming off, gaps in the doors that let cold air seep through, repeated power outages, a master bed window that isn't sealed and lets water in and forms ice on the INSIDE OF OUR APARTMENT and the maintenance have somehow screwed up our comcast wires so many times it feels like it may be intentional given our complaints about the maintenance service. Of course we're the ones having to pay for comcast to come out and repeatedly hook our internet back up. These aren't even all the problems we have had. All of them took weeks, if not months for them to fix, and some of them still aren't fixed. We've threatened to move out multiple times and that seems the be the only thing that makes them come by, even then they only fix one or two things rather than all. We probably will end up moving out before our lease is up. Over the weekend a toilet flooded a bathroom for no reason and we can't use our kitchen sink because the faucet finally gave out. They also only have one dumpster for all the buildings, it's not emptied frequently, so many days there will be bags of trash spilling onto the road. I highly recommend you live anywhere but here.
My apartment has been overall pretty good. The price is not bad for the amount of space - a 2 bedroom, 910 square feet for $799. Kitchen could be updated but overall it works. The staff have been excellent. Maintenance has been quick. It's been a quiet neighborhood which is what I like!
New management is horrible! Drunks and thieves now live here, I have had factory tires stolen twice!!!
Cute apartments with lots of closet space! Maintenance has always came the same day to fix things. Has a dog park that is super convenient for dog owners. Really Friendly workers too.
