Hidden Gem

Nestled right inside the 610 loop close to the galleria and a block away from river oaks, the location is perfect. The 8-5 grind is not as bad with only a 15 minute commute Downtown. The apartment complex is kind of dated, and the pool is not as glamorous as some of the newer apartments off Allen Parkway but it works for me. The apartments themselves are nice and spacious for the money. If you're like me, and moved to Houston from another large city where rent is not as cheap (Boston,NYC, ect...) you would look at this apartment and the location and think that it must cost a fortune. The sticker price will shock you when you see how affordable it is. Now that is true of most of Houston, but with apartment prices on the rise, the Tree Tops apartments are reasonably priced. I wish there were washers and dryers in the units themselves, and I also wish that all of the parking were covered but the onsite laundry works for me and I leave for work in the morning before my car gets hot anyways. On site property management is responsive and nice, and they are there Monday - Saturday. Overall a good place for professional millennials looking for a safe place to lay their head at night in a new city.
