Life in College Station pretty much revolves around Texas A&M University. The student body accounts for 60,000 people in a city of just over 100,000, and the university employs roughly 15% of the non-student population. The cultural impact of the university is tremendous, from the on-campus art, scholarly resources, and architecture to the thriving food, nightlife, and music scenes around town, and of course the exuberant Texas Aggies fandom.
Apartments and rental houses are available to suit every budget, from exceedingly affordable student rentals to more upscale homes. Parents will appreciate the vest selection of highly-rated public schools, and easy access to city parks gives everyone the opportunity to get out and enjoy the fresh air.

Property Ratings at Treehouse Apartments
This apartment is very near to TAMU's main campus and Kyle Field. Campus bus (36) is frequently running through Treehouse apartment. The rent of this apartment is also reasonable.
Not recommended at all! They are nice to you when you move in, but they will eat all of your deposits when you move out( I wished I can attach the move out deposit here to show how ridiculous it is) they will ask you to pay additional charges that were not listed on the contract at all and they just simply name the prices to ask you to pay. When you questioned them why that price, the property manager would say there is nothing you can negotiate. Worse customer service that I have ever seen. If I were the property owner, I should feel shame to hire someone like Shannon to manage. Many cockroaches! If you unfortunately get an unit that is closed to the kitchen, those
My husband and I have loved living here the past 7 months and just renewed our lease for the next year! The office staff is so genuinely kind and always willing to help (even helped me send a fax when I didn't know how) - they make living here so enjoyable! It's an older complex but they have kept it up very nicely, they are quick to respond to any emails and questions, and maintenance issues have always been quickly resolved. Treehouse is such a great place to call home!
I have lived here for about 7 months now and am loving it so far. It seems like a quiet community which I really like and it is right next to campus. The apartments are dated, but you can definitely make them feel homey and nice. The management has been great to me so far, so no problems there. I have had some issues with my AC but every time I put in a maintenance request someone comes out within a couple of hours and management has not given me a hard time about it at all. I was nervous about not having a washer/dryer in my apartment but the laundry facilities that the complex provides are very nice, clean and cheap! Also, I have seen other comments about how the internet doesn’t work but I haven’t had any problems with that either. I got a nicer router and modem and can play Netflix, get on my computer and be on my phone with no problems at all.
I moved in here due to the location and it being pet friendly. I am glad I did. The apartments are older but everything works and the rent is reasonable. Its a great place for students or anyone who works on campus.
The title of this review says it all. I think treehouse is the best place to live in college station. The management is so friendly and I absolutely love being able to live in a one bedroom apartment. I walk into my apartment everyday and I’m just so happy to be here. The grounds are kept nice and clean and maintainence is always quick to fix any issue you may have. There’s covered parking, access to route 36, and a well kept laundry facility. It is obvious how much management cares for their residents and I appreciate feeling valued here.
My significant other and I am incredibly thankful to share Treehouse Apartments as our first home together! Both property manager and leasing consultant are always welcome to us and our furbabies, are extremely helpful and reliable, and truly care about their residents. In the same manner, maintenance staff are always friendly, attentive, and available. Not only is it an affordable place to live with great internet quality, but the complex is within walking distance to campus and is even on the campus shuttle route. The pools, grassy areas, and laundry facilities are kept in great condition, and the amazing ladies at the office provide free office services (which is an answered prayer for students, like myself, who always need to print/fax something) during business hours. Despite being in a popular area of College Station, Treehouse Apartments is off of the main road which provides more seclusion and quiet than other complexes. This ability to travel anywhere in town relatively simply- without feeling like being stuck in the middle of the city- is a relief to us both, who whole-heartedly love the country life. Before moving here, no other complex we visited offered the contentment, transparency, and benefits this facility and its genuine staff did. Since then, these truths have become even more apparent. We look forward to keeping our home at Treehouse Apartments for as long as we are in the area!
I have lived here for a while and it's great. The people are nice and the location is convenient, and it's affordable too. Management is responsive to requests and I have had good interactions. Definitely recommend.
My husband and I have lived at Treehouse Apartments since 2016 and we've been very pleased with the property and service. They are always quick to resolve any issues and answer any questions or concerns we may have. They also accept dogs of all sizes, which is nice since we have two reasonably sized dogs. The apartments may be a little on the older side, but you can't beat the price or location.
I have lived here for a little over 3 years and have always felt safe and accommodated. The apartments are roomy, affordable, and pet friendly. They're always quick to reply to maintenance reports, and staff is great at communicating about general information of things happening on the property (repairs, events, bills due reminders) via email and/or text message. Campus is within walking distance and it's relatively close to major stores (H-E-B, Target, fast food restaurants).
Treehouse is in an excellent location for students! Easily within walking distance to campus, plus a bus route. Affordable, quiet, and overall a great lace to live!
I've lived here for the last 4 years while attending grad school at Texas A&M. The location is excellent. There is a bus route next to the apartments, and the University isn't too far away to walk if the weather is nice. The staff is excellent, and work orders tend to get fixed the same day that they're reported. The apartments are pet friendly, and rent is very reasonable. I'm definitely planning on staying here until I graduate.
Great staff and service. Feel comfortable living there ~~~~~~
These are some of the worst apartments I have ever lived at. They were so dirty and the management is no help whenever you need something fixed. The staff is so rude and not helpful at all. The move out process is the worst, when my roommate and I moved out they charged us almost $1,000 on cleaning fees even though we cleaned, but because it wasn't up to their "standards", they didn't care. There were constant insects and bugs coming in and the apartment never exterminated. The electricity bill is so high even if you don't use that much. I would never live here again and urge people to never try to live here. If I could give this review zero stars, I would.
Run, and don't look back! If your a/c goes out, don't expect it to get fixed here! Wish I could upload picks of my thermostat. Over n over maibtenance comes out and they say it needs to be replaced, but does it get replace? That would be a negative. If you like to stay cool, this isn't the place for you! Manager refuses to talk to you about it either, she hides and the staff if rude to you!
Treehouse Apartments is just a huge disappointment. The manager does not want to fix anything and she is very rude to everyone.
