Property Ratings at Trellis Pointe
my experience at Trellis Pointe Apartments has seen several significant issues. Despite the pleasant aspects, the management and staff have been a source of constant frustration. The staff often come across as condescending, and their demeanor can feel dismissive when addressing resident concerns. Maintenance staff, too, seem to display an unwarranted arrogance and a lack of responsiveness to requests, making it difficult to address even minor issues. The frequency of noise is another major drawback. Whether it's loud neighbors at night and ongoing music from cars in the parking lot, it seems like there's always something disruptive. This constant noise can be very stressful and affects the overall comfort of living here. Additionally, there have been multiple incidents of people breaking into cars within the complex. This has raised my concerns about the security and safety of the community. Despite reporting these incidents, management’s response has been lackluster and indifferent, leaving residents and myself feeling unsupported, I left before I heard the worst of the car break ins happened. Overall, while Trellis Pointe Apartments offers some nice amenities and a pleasant community vibe, though the general disrespect and disorganization of the management and staff overshadow these positives. The lack of effective action on critical issues, such as security and noise control, has made it challenging to fully enjoy living here. I hope you choose well when doing your own research if your thinking about living here and take some time to consider if they have improved enough that they are even competent for your time, welfare and most of your harmony and peace of mind.
I cannot say enough good things about the maintenance at Trellis Pointe, the community feel (neighbors looking out for each other), the location itself (convenient to Route 1 and downtown Holly Springs), the setting (including the noisy birds and squirrels who live in the mature trees encapsulating the buildings) and the Hawthorne family (Property Management Company). I lived in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit on the 2nd for 3 years and could not have enjoyed my neighbors and the unit itself more. Our floor plan was very efficient for the 3 of us. The units are generally well-insulated as my very economical electric and water bills indicated. Noise in apartments is to be expected (particularly in a middle unit), but I did not find the levels to be excessive--particularly during regular waking hours. It is a dog-friendly community and well situated near Ting Park (for basketball, tennis and baseball within short walking distance) with greenways nearby. Hawthorne also helped my find my next apartment home as I needed a 3 bedroom, but there were none available at Trellis Pointe at that time, so I am now in a different Hawthorne location and thankful for their support. I would encourage you to check out your immediate neighbors first (wherever you live), but Trellis Pointe is an apartment community that feels like home.

Trellis Pointe is a conveniently located apartment home in Holly Springs. It is a quiet family (including pets) community that is a pleasure to call "home". I have lived in this community for over five years and love it here! The apartments are spacious and well maintained. Staff here are what makes this community extra special! Maintenance requests are dealt with in an expedient manner and always with a follow up call to ensure satisfaction! Wow! The management make an extra special effort to be part of the community as they hold events for the families that live here. It is a safe and quiet location with the convenience of shops and restaurants very nearby. I am very happy to call Trellis Pointe home!
This is an older medium priced apt. The management responds to all concerns immediately and any needed repairs are fixed quickly. The landscaping is very nice. The only ongoing problem that I've had is with the TV cable company. It has ongoing deficits such as not recording programs, programs freeze up and their service is poor. There is no alternative because the cable wiring boxes are locked by the company. The apartment management has been informed of this and they say there's nothing that they can do, so even though I like everything else I will move when I can!
