Property Ratings at Tribeca at Camp Spring
DO NOT MOVE HERE! I regret renewing my lease under this new management. This building is egregiously mismanaged. It seems to be one thing after another. From multiple broken doors to the property(which contributes to the multiple homeless people sleeping in hallways and common spaces) , broken garage doors allowing anyone access to our cars (which I have heard has led to robberies and violence) to maintenance staff causing unsafe destruction to property and refusing to fix it. There have been COUNTLESS reports of inappropriate behavior by the staff here and it seems like what they are here to do is not actually getting done. The priorities are obviously misplaced and I wouldn't recommend moving here.

Everything about this place is beautiful. I’ve lived here for 2year now and I’m in love with the property. I haven’t had any issues. It’s been a breeze.

Hi User! Thank you for recommending us in your review! We’re glad we made your experience with us a great one and will be happy to help you again soon.
I lived here for two years. I was stationed at Andrews and this apartment complex was only a 5 min commute. The first year went ok, but in the second year there were shootings at the complex where a resident was shot. Broken glass out in the court yard. Random people walking around the “secure” garage. Me and my wife were also victims to a 80 plus car break in where windows on “luxury” vehicles were smashed. Do not live here, they charge an insane amount for a not so luxury apartment. The leasing management acted like they cared about the residents, but they definitely did not. Many things were left broken for months like door locks. So random people were able to get in. Also when the break in of the vehicles happened they said the cameras were down. I got my family out of there after the shooting that happened close to my unit.

Long story short! My car has been vandalized twice in a 2 month span, and the management hasn’t once gotten better security and only tells you, you sign your lease and it states we are not liable for damages, only to find out this has been going on since 2013. How can this go on for 8 years and you still have no 24 hours security, but you make me pay $100 for parking. Management is unprofessional, the amenities are unkept, packages are being stolen from the mail room. This place is just RATCHET! Save yourself the horror and money. Dont love to tribeca it’s not worth it I PROMISE YOU!

I have lived in luxury properties throughout the DC Metro area and perhaps I am spoiled by my previous experiences of decent and effective property managers. As a proud native of Prince George's County, it breaks my heart that such a nice property with a great location is managed by underachievers who consistently disregard basic fundamentals of the landlord/tenant relationship. Prior to moving in, I read reviews of cars stolen and vandalized and gave them an opportunity to speak on countermeasures - they provided assurance, but after move-in I was witness to neighbors and guests cars vandalized, parts stolen and worse - overly-aggressive towing by property management. Simple corrections such as ensuring the secured parking area has a functioning security gate (was broken for 4 months), ensuring camera coverage to provide visual evidence of crimes, or having security from 6pm-6am would surely deter crimes. What if a woman were assaulted - why is there no protective coverage of the garage? Worse than the ineptitude, is the lack of compassion for the residents and guests who are subjected to these continuous violations. As I type this, there is a brand new SUV (belongs to my guest) sitting on bricks with all 4 wheels stolen. No empathy from property management and they were unwilling to provide the camera footage to local law enforcement without a subpoena. I talked to the assistant PM who confirmed no camera coverage and repeatedly emphasized that parking was at my own risk and the senior PM wouldn't speak to me without an appointment. Very strange and off putting. Additionally, during my 12 months at this property, I have had packages stolen or "misplaced", countless emails to management have been ignored and even the non-COVID impacted amenities have not been provided - i.e. broken grills, broken security gate, broken locks to access controlled areas. This property also does not recycle and has poor trash management overall. The adjacent hallways and garage entrance near the trash area smells like trash at all times. This was a long review, but in summary...if you want a beautiful apartment, where your car will likely be vandalized or towed, and where property management cares nothing about your general well-being or customer satisfaction - come to Tribeca. As a community, we must hold businesses accountable when they believe that they are entitled to underserve and disrespect the residents of Prince George's County. DO.NOT.MOVE.HERE.

At first things were good, but they have definitely taken a turn for the worst. I've been here for a year and in that time the garage door has been broken at least 5 times, the elevators stop working at any given time, the callbox has been broken since Feb, and the time lapse of repairs are insane! When I first game here there was 24hr security, that no longer exists. Several acts of vandalism has taken place.

I have lived at Tribeca of Camp Springs for 4 years. The community was one to brag about up until the new owners and management came aboard. Maintenance issues and tenant concerns were handled in a timely and reasonable manner in the past. The buildings’ maintenance and upkeep has declined tremendously. Entry doors and garage gates are inoperable quite often. I am looking forward to transferring to another AFB soon.

Dear Resident, while I always wish to find our residents are having a well-rounded experience, I appreciate that you took the time to voice your concerns here. Please know that I, along with the rest of our team, am genuinely disappointed that we weren't able to address these issues for you. Will you come into our office to go over each of these points you've mentioned? We'd like to be more proactive in moving forward and assist you as best we can. Sincerely, Jawatha H., Community Manager tribecacampspringsmgr@pinnacleliving.com
I've been here since 2015 and I decided to update my review of this place because up until recently I haven't been having any problems. But since the new management things have been getting worse. Maintenance isn't done as quick as it use to be and recently they have been having issues with the gates. I was late to work because the the only other working gate at the time broke and security was no where in site. I have also seen at least 3 vehicles that have had all 4 of their wheels stolen. This makes no sense to me how we have security and gates and things like this keep happening.

After having a bad experience at another “luxury” apartment complex in the area, we found Tribeca. From start to finish it has been a top notch experience. Wonderful apartment! Great staff! Quiet and clean! Security is a constant presence and no matter what time of day i walk mybdog i have something i never had at my previous complex, peace of mind! Thank you for dining that back to me Tribeca..it’s priceless??
I've been in my apartment for a month now; and everything has been great so far. The community and apartments seem to be well maintained by the rental/condo management offices. The hallways are always clean no matter the time of day. The trash rooms are emptied in a timely manner (so there's never smells entering into the main hallway). I like the that apartments offer great sound barrier between each apartment, unlike other luxury apartment communities. I have only entered one resident work order, since living at the community and it was handle immediately! The women in the office are very polished and outgoing! The property manager is amazing as well in her own right. When I came to visit the community after completing my application weeks prior. She knew me by name and apartment number; that I would be moving into in a few months. The crazy thing was I never spoke to her before coming to the property to take another look. Overall, I feel that Tribeca is a great community and would be the perfect fit for anyone looking for a luxurious place to call home.
I must admit that walking into Tribeca At Camp Spring, I did not know what to expect, but from the moment my wife and I walked into the leasing office, Felicia Melton not only made us feel welcomed, she made our decision to move in an easy one. Since then, Mrs. Melton along with Jamie and Iris have gone above and beyond the call of duty to make our transition effortless! I definitely plan on inviting friends to look into move here.
I want to take time out to voice the impeccable and thorough job Felicia did for me when I was looking for a new apartment. I surveyed several options in the area. Reluctant to move from Tribeca, Felicia took time to sit down with me to go over every available room to fit my budget. She took time to truly listen to my wants and needs, and accommodations. Her valiant and superior skills and knowledge of the property stands out more than any leasing agent I have ever dealt with. Within a month's time, I was able to move comfortably without any issues or outstanding questions. Felicia is highly recommended and I credit my decision to stay with Tribeca entirely to her! - D. Blackwell
I really enjoy living in Tribeca because of the friendly people in the office, the amenities, covered parking, and the list goes on... It is truly an awesome place to live!

I helped to move my mom into this property over a month ago and Jaime went above and beyond to ensure that the process went smooth. I have friends who had lived at Tribeca previously and they all had nothing but positive things to say about their experiences. The Units are very nice and the buildings are secure. We needed someone to come out and look at the shower head and someone was there the same day. I would definitely consider Tribeca.

I finally found what I was looking for! I searched for months and Jamie G.(the best Leasing Agent in MD) was very knowledgeable and understanding of my needs. Jamie allowed me to take my time, so I could get the apartment that would meet my needs as well as my wants. The proximity to the metro, shopping and the beltway...I think I hit the jackpot!

I have lived here for about two years and really love this property. The property itself if well maintained, no trash, and is always cleaned. The staff in the leasing office is very responsive to any needs presented. The staff has goes out of there way to accommodate us even when we are in the wrong. Also, the maintenance team typically responds within 24 hours and are very kind.

On the surface, this looks like a great place, and unless you actually live here, some things you won't find out on a tour or website, so here a few things I've noticed. Amenities: Really nice gym, however, of the 3 treadmills, sometimes only one works, though the other 2 are plugged in. Also, they need maintenance on their belts are loose. Nice pool, however, it did not always open on time, and over the 4 months it was open, there were 3 different lifeguards hired. Nice lounge area, however, most of the time, only one of the computers were actually working. Facilities: Lights tend to dim randomly. May be an issue with wiring. Can hear neighbors if they're loud, however, this was not often. Speaking of neighbors, in 5 months over the summer, there were zero resident events. I just introduced myself when seeing them in the hallway. Maintenance: On call 24, but they don't actually come by until working hours. Event--A/C was not working, and the temp was actually increasing (emergency). Maintenance stated it was dark outside,so they would check out the A/C in the morning. I just had to sweat it out. Emailed Staff about it, and they did not respond (at all). Which brings me to why they actually get the one star--Staff. Attitude from all angles. From inquiring about the pool hours to reporting electrical outages. Packages were also lost for weeks. Reason I'm actually leaving was due to me reporting that some of the electrical switches didn't work (attitude received from reporting that too). One evening, I came home, and there was a lamp on, a cup knocked over in the middle of the living room, and my modem had been left unplugged. All of this with no note on the door stating entry. I took photos and reported it to Security (possible break in). After emailig the photos to the staff, they said that they should have left a note, but as for the place being left in that state, they said it could not have been their staff. (Casper, maybe?) When speaking to the property manager about my notice to leave, at no point was I ever asked why I was leaving. The moral of the story (from my observations) is that, as a resident, you are not valued. The staff does not care, nor can they be trusted. Also, never allow maintenance to enter without someone there. If you choose to tour this complex, hopefully this will help aid in your decision. Best of Luck. View Less
