Property Ratings at Trillium Heights
I love Trillium. The manager is great. The maintenance staff is great. My only complaint is the utilities. They can be spendy. But I lived on the Ridgetop at other apartments and they are always spendy. I think it’s just the area. Love it here.
There are a lot of apartments to choose from on Ridgetop Blvd. I’ve literally been to them all. Trillium Heights had the newest amenities, nicest apartments, and kindest people working there. What really sealed the deal for me was how welcoming DeeDee and Angela were when I arrived to see the complex. They made me feel right at home and were able to accommodate my unique move in situation when the dates fluctuated.
You should most definitely live here. Manager DeeDee and assistant manager Angela are incredible at their jobs. My family and I have lived here for just about 18 months. When we first lived here, management was...messy to say the least. By the end of our 12 month lease, the management team just disappeared because well, they were dreadful and shortly after they were gone, DeeDee, Angela, and the new maintence staff showed up and saved everyone from dispair. DeeDee is an actual super hero as she swept in and fixed all of my families apartment/lease issues in a whole day. She was on top of everything despite the stress of being the only office employee for awhile. DeeDee is so good hearted and is always professional. You can tell she takes her job seriously and cares incredibly for this community and the people who reside in it. Angela, the assistant manager, helped us significantly when we decided to use Military Orders to break our lease. We are so heartbroken to be leaving. She was calm, collected, and extremely informative. She helped us understand how to get through it all. Not only is office staff and maintenance staff unbelievably astounding, but the views alone are to die for. Our units balcony has a breathtaking view through the trees of what makes up Washington. Mountains. The view leaves me speechless. Trillium Heights is located close to Bangor Base, schools, the mall, Costco, Walmarts, Safeway, the beach, plenty hikes and parks and camping areas. It’s close to ferry locations such as Kingston, Bainbridge, and Bremerton. This place is truly amazing and I wish we could live here longer. The units are newly renovated as well as the clubhouse.
Since I first took an interest in this apartment complex, I have been shown nothing short of suberb customer service. The manager, Dee Dee and the assistant manager, Angela, have gone above and beyond to meet my family's leasing needs. They are informative, keeping me updated on any and all leasing specials, but more importantly they are upfront, communicable, and accessible. I would highly recommend Trillium Heights if you yearn for a stress-free leasing process with person-centered customer service.
I don't think I'm overstating it when I say Trillium Heights is the best place to live in Silverdale (maybe all of Kitsap County)! Quick and easy access to Naval Base Kitsap (Bremerton or Bangor), all of Silverdale's shopping, Poulsbo, Bremerton & Port Orchard, the ferries...it's the perfect central location. And you really can't beat the views from Ridgetop Blvd; I get to watch the sun set behind the Olympics every evening while walking my dog along Ridgepoint Dr NW. I think my unit is one of those lately remodeled, with hard flooring, upgraded counter tops and huge sink in the kitchen. My patio looks out on nature galore and a quiet picnic area; feels more like a park than an apartment complex. DeeDee and Angela have both been absolutely wonderful, from when I first applied for a unit sight-unseen from across the country, to the day I showed up to get my keys ("I just drove for three days, my pets are in the car and I just want to get into my unit") to helping out with everyday questions and maintenance requests. Don't worry about missing the mail carrier; pick up your packages at the office. And the new clubhouse, with lounge and fitness center, was just finished! Oh and did I mention they have a big variety of lease options, including short-term? I got a 4-month lease and now that I’ve found a house to rent (to care for an elderly parent) I will, sadly, be moving out of Trillium Heights. I’ve only been here a few months but I will miss Trillium! Honestly I’m not being paid to say any of this…I just know it isn’t fun sorting through your options when you’re apartment-hunting and hope to make the choice easier for others. You can’t go wrong with Trillium.
I would recommend this apartment community to anyone! We have lived in other complexes in Silverdale and Trillium Heights is the only one that has ever really felt like home. We have lived here for over a year and a half, things were okay under the previous management but have GREATLY improved with JRK taking over. The recent renovations to the clubhouse, new dog park, and landscaping are all just a few of the obvious improvements they have made to the complex. P.S. Parking is not bad at all compared to other local apartments! Trust me I have personal experience and parking trouble is one of my major pet peeves with apartment living.
First of all, as I was getting ready to leave a review I noticed the latest review and I want to address this. I have lived at Trillium Heights for more than a year and I love it. 1. This person leaving a bad review you can tell has some other agenda other than leaving a honest review. The thing is there are going to be people who are unhappy and who you can never make happy. These people probably wouldn't be happy at the Hilton either. 2. There is always going to be something you can get hot about. The whole thing is you choose your battles. Your never going to have everything the way you want it. Sure, I'd love free rent, no utilities, free amenities and all but lets be real that is just not going to happen. 3. Trillium Heights has changed in the last 2 years. New company, Renovations, and new staff. Here's the thing, I only see improvements from where I am sitting. The clubhouse has gotten a complete overhaul, New gym, Basketball court and Game room( pinball machine, car racing, pool and fooz ball table) and a new Dog park. Yes we all had to wait a few months while the renovations were going on but we have to do the same when it comes to road construction or other construction. 4. I won't lie, parking can be tricky, its a large complex, and parking is limited. but from what I can tell its limited at every complex. walking my garbage to the compactor can get annoying but I'd rather do that than pay an extra $25 bucks for Valet living like some of the other communities in the area. 5. Over all I love this community and I am not planning on leaving any time soon. 6. I know for a fact that several of the residents who have left negative reviews on these sites are only leaving those reviews to take the pressure off them selves because they have done something wrong like not paying their flipping rent. People talk, we are not stupid pay your rent, stop leaving false reviews and grow up. If you don't like it leave!!!!
Trillium Heights is a great place to live. They have very friendly and helpful staff. The apartments and updated and grounds are well kept. The amenities are amazing. Great workout room! Very safe neighborhood with great schools near by.
Giving an honest review here. Just moved in a few months ago. Pros: close to everything, has a great community feel, apartments are being updated and are great, new dog park, clubhouse is almost done with renovations! Staff onsite are friendly and welcoming. Cons: parking can be tricky late at night! Clubhouse is not finished yet. Wish the playground was fixed. Prices are speedy but comparable to the other apts in the area. All in all I really like this place. It's nice. And convenient. I like the layouts and fireplaces in the apartments. Ask for DeeDee or Angela in the office, they will make your day! Always smiling and always friendly they seem to never get ruffled even when you know an angry resident has just been in the office. They are always polite and courteous and willing to help. Customer service here is 110% beyond what you would expect anywhere else.
I have been living here for almost two years and I can't tell you what a wonderful experience I have had. I even had one of the maintenance guys offer to take my trash for me the other day! Thank you for taking the extra time out of your day to make us feel at home. Keep it up!!
I love this community, I have lived here for little over a year. Just signed a new lease because I love it here. I think the people in the office managing are very nice and very cute. I will be so proud to come and visit them more often once the new clubhouse is finished.
We’ve lived in trillium heights since November and let me tell you it’s the first apartment living experience for my family and I, it’s an awesome one! We’ve never had issues with the other residents or office employees and everyone is more than just friendly, they’re welcoming into the community means a lot. That’s exactly what we looked for and considered when picking a place to call home. It’s super convenient to our kids school as well so that’s always a plus! Trillium heights is definitely where your happiness is at! ??
I moved into Trillium Heights almost a month ago now. And they are absolutely amazing, I am a big person in reading reviews before moving somewhere & let me tell you. Read the reviews from that last month only, the new management here is simply amazing, DeeDee and her team are great & my fiancé had to leave out of state for work a week before we moved & DeeDee and her team made the entire moving process so stress free for me! I always see her walking her dogs around the complex after the office is closed & she always goes out of her way to say hi & ask how my apartment is even when she’s not working. She’s a delight to have worked with & her maintenance team (Chris) is a hard working & great guy! If you’re on the fence about moving here, do it! You will not regret it, I promise you!
Trillium Heights is about as terrible as it gets. After living there for months happily, the complex was purchased by JRK Property Holdings in California. From then on things went downhill. The pool was never open, the trash was always overflowing, and my sewer/water bill jumped to over $100 a month with no explanation. Suddenly I had new neighbors upstairs whom I and my neighbors were forced to call the sheriff repeatedly due to noise violations, threats of violence, and partying at all hours. Oh, and did I mention those offenders are actually current office staff/employees of Trillium Heights Apartments?! Despite this information and police reports, the company chose to grant early move out as opposed to fire their unprofessional employee. Three weeks after moving out I received a bill which was illegitimate, and was accompanied by a letter from a collection agent that was postmarked BEFORE the invoice from Trillium was mailed. They sent me to collections PRIOR to sending me the original invoice. So now I'm forced to get my lawyer involved and the Better Business Bureau is actively investigating. Don't let yourself go through what I did. Save your energy and money and take it elsewhere. Don't let the false positive reviews of this place fool you....
Property Manager at Trillium Heights, Responded To This Review
Hello Brita, We do monitor noise level, but as you know, living in an apartment community does come with some level of noise. If there is a loud resident, staff is sent and a violation is issued as well. As you know, when you vacated your apartment, the freezer was full, trash was on the ground, and the carpet was damaged. As far our indoor pool, it is open during pool hours year round. While you are no longer a resident at our community, we wish you well in your new home.
Do not like: Unit dated & neglected - not thoroughly cleaned, many things in disrepair. Garbage area is regularly overflowing, unsightly & very smelly. Parking extremely limited. Tenants don't clean animal waste. Like: It's very quiet. Office staff are nice.
JRK Property Holdings purchased Trillium Heights in late October, 2016. Before the purchase we loved living here, and had lived here for over a year and a half with no complaints. The office management was great, the maintenance personnel were great, everything was wonderful. We talked to the old office management about JRK taking over and they were very excited about it, talking about how there were going to be updates to the leasing office, gym, and pool area, the majority of which would begin remodeling in just a few weeks. They also told us that they had agreed to keep their positions during the transition and remain employees of the new company, seeming very excited about the new management company. One week later ALL of the office management was gone, with no explanation of why they left, other than "They resigned, I'm not really sure why." This was red flag number one to my wife and I. With the old management there were always at a minimum 2 people in the office during the week, meaning you never had to wait if you needed to talk to someone. Under JRK, I have only seen one person in the office at a time, and have waited on multiple occasions (one time for over 20 minutes, before simply leaving) to get a question answered. There have been no updates or talks of updates to any of the facilities after the old management mentioned them, leading me to believe that JRK simply "sold" the management on these ideas and then once they finalized the sale decided to not do them. Under the old management and website, I could pay rent online every 2 weeks by a credit card with no additional charges. This morning (December 15, 2016), I logged into the new portal to pay half of my rent to find that an additional charge of $25 would be added for using a credit card. This is absolutely insane. I have spoken with several other residents who are just as unhappy as we are with the new management. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone with the current management. On a lighter note, the maintenance crew is fantastic, but they remained from the old management. Luis and his crew are wonderful, waving at my wife and I anytime they see us driving past, and speaking anytime we see them. All maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner. This is the only upside to Trillium Heights since the new management has taken over.
Welcome home is what it says above the office door and it hits it spot on. This is a place one can call home! The manager Victoria is a top notch professional as she goes out of her way to assist if there are any problems or repairs needed and they are fast! The 3 bedroom home I live in is wonderful and we love the fireplace! My kids enjoy the indoor pool and basketball court and everything is very clean! The office staff treat us like family, always knows our names, gives doggie treats to the pets and candy for the kids. We are so pleased with this apartment and would recommend it to all!
As long as you have one car, small bedroom furniture and don't work from home it's fine. I'm not sure about the lower levels, but on 3 rd floor is unbearabled during the summer months so have a portable ac units. Moved here for sauna thath as never been fixed so as long as you're patient and deal with disappointmen t well this is your spot.
