When Cordova began around 1830, it was a small farming village on the east side of Memphis. Today, it's still on the east side, but much of the town has been annexed by Memphis. Cordova begins on the east side of Shelby Farms Park and follows I-40 east to about Fisherville. The Wolf River runs along the south side. Shelby Farms Park provides a terrific outdoor space, covering 4,500 acres and including bicycle and horseback riding trails, playgrounds, lakes and the river for fishing, the Shelby Farms Dog Park, and the Go Ape adventure center.
Ideally located, Cordova is fast-growing due to its natural beauty and its proximity to Downtown Memphis. Cordova pairs historic sites such as the Walter Granville Allen House and Sangie Cemetery with modern amenities and convenient shops and restaurants. Popular destinations include the Cordova International Farmer's Market, the Cordova Bowling Center, and the de Cordova Museum.

We’re thrilled to hear that you’re loving your time here! Thank you for your kind words about the renovations and our maintenance team. Here’s to many more happy years at The Villages at Cross Creek!
The apartments are large and newly renovated. The grounds are nice and well kept. The maintenance staff are friendly and quick to respond to work orders. The office staff are professional and friendly. I have lived here for over a year and have not had any issues. I have really enjoyed living at Trinity Lakes.

Thank you for giving us a positive rating! We're glad you've had a great experience here at Trinity Lakes! Please contact our office team if you need anything in the future.
I moved here in 2021 looking for a fresh start after marriage. I honestly planned to be here maybe a year but the staff and maintenance team convinced me that this is home awhile. The staff takes time to remember who you are plus I've never lived in an apartment community that reminded me of my childhood where all the neighbors looked out for each other. I'm not planning to move anytime soon.

So I’ve been living here since end of May (signed the lease in April). I was told by the office all the things I found during the walkthrough and submitted for repairs would be completed by the time I move-in (less than a month later after signing). Well, it’s been 4-months since moving in and the dishwasher is still broken, microwave handle broken and hanging on by the last screw (and Jesus), microwave plate doesn’t spin so half the food is sizzling hot and the other half is warm/cold, bathroom cabinet floor has a hole (was one in the kitchen too but they fixed it after complaining in June), refrigerator opens towards the laundry room so have to awkwardly put away the groceries, pantry is missing some pegs to hold a shelf, outlets spark/crackle sometimes when plugging in electronics, and don’t get me started on the water bugs (the momma, daddy, babies, cousins, & uncles all living in here). Pest control is something you may have to get on your own bc I have yet to see any pest control techs spray. Then lately I’ve been finding animal/rodent droppings around the apartment, mind you, I’m on the third level. I haven’t seen any vermin but I do see what they leave behind! The leasing office don’t care how long maintenance takes to fix the requests. Granted, the maintenance techs are very nice and get the job done (a/c unit outside went bad), but that leasing office ... whew ... their reply to me asking for an ETA on my service requests was, “We are only taking care of emergency requests so it will take a while.” First of all, it’s been 4 months (going on 5 as we head into October) since I’ve submitted these requests. Secondly, it’s no surprise that you have this many tenants. It’s not like everyone moved in all at once, so hiring more techs to handle the demand should be a priority. I’m so done with Trinity Lakes! If I’d known I would be PAYING to LIVE with cockroaches and vermin, I would’ve kept looking at other apartments.
I have been living here for 3 yrs and these are the nicest well kept apartments that I have seen. The office managers are the best
