Property Ratings at Trout Meadows Apartments
First off, leasing office never has a manager on site so do not bother going to the office. Extremely unprofessional. Paper thin walls and ceilings. Complained about the dog upstairs barking for 2-3 hours several days in a row. Grounds do not get cleaned so dog poop all over property. Trash for do waste is over flowing or no garbage liner. No pool all year long. When it comes to moving out they will take your security deposit. Stay as far away from this property. I've been renting for over 20 years now and this is by far the most unprofessional, dishonest apartment complex I've ever lived in. Maintenance also pretends to fix items but you will have to fill out a request several times before it is fixed properly.
I loved living here and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Wonderful community and walking distance to most things.
I had such a great experience renting from this company. Highly recommended!! Very lovely people to work with
I rented a 3 bedroom apartment at Trout Meadows in Bozeman but found it to be a terrible experience. Everything has to go through Missoula therefore nothing happened in a timely manner. I spent hours cleaning only to be charged for nit picky charges i.e. “dusty ceilings” and plenty others. I used to clean high end homes therefore when I was charged an additional $400 for their own cleaning fees I was appalled. I would NOT recommend living here and if you do DONT expect much or anything back from a deposit. It’s rare to receive a lot back from any apartment complex but I was baffled, they lack professionalism and I only ran into several complications.
They took forever to go over my application and wouldn’t accept my dog breed because they have restrictions.. Any dog can be raised to b aggressive, the breed doesn’t matter.. poor excuse.
This is the worst possible place to live in Bozeman. They are pet friendly (one of the few places in Bozeman) but that just allows them to walk all over their tenants. The management is slow and everything have to go through Missoula so expect for anything to take months to happen. The management is rude, uncaring, and so unorganized it is laughable. I know you are thinking it can't be that bad. I thought that too, until the staff showed their true side. JUST DON'T RENT FROM TROUT MEADOWS. They do not even desire a star.
I rented a 1 bedroom apartment for Trout Meadows and found it to be a perfect place to live. It is walking distance to The Outback and a few other places to eat. The staff is friendly and are willing to help you. Don't expect to get all of your deposit back though, as they will definitely find a way to keep some. This is similar to other apartments, so it is expected.
