Property Ratings at Tuckaway Heights Apartments
I have lived here for one year and love it here. The grounds are well-maintained, it’s a nice quiet subdivision. The apartment itself has great features. I have never had any problems here and the management is easy to contact. I would stay living here longer but I bought a house so I’ll be moving out.
My husband and I have been living here for 21 years and couldn't be happier. Love the fact that we have central air, which is always a plus during Wisconsin's hot and humid summers. It's also nice to have heat included so you are not stuck with high heating bills when the weather gets cold. The apartments themselves are quiet and well maintained, including the hallways. (Maintenance issues are handled in a timely manner.) The buildings and grounds are also kept up. In fact one year Tuckaway Heights won an award for best landscape. The grounds have a park like setting that includes picnic tables and grills for families. I would and have recommended Tuckaway Heights to anyone. Tuckaway Heights is also close to many restaurants and shops.
I just got approved and I haven't moved in yet but this process has been amazing so far. Management is extremely helpful and prompt! I am so excited to move in! Everything was so clean and staff was very professional!
After moving around every year for several years, I seem to have finally found a place to call home! I stumbled upon Tuckaway here last year and decided to sign a lease. Everyone is so friendly and helpful with anything I've needed, especially the maintenance. I always see them running around the property working, but they always stop to say hello, even remembering my name and apartment. We've had a few heavy snowfalls already and they're always on the ball with making sure the sidewalks are cleared. I've yet to live somewhere that the employees care so much for the property.
First of all, most of the reviews about this apartment in this site and other sites are fake written by the staff of the apartments. I booked this apartment by checking online reviews and these ratings only (which you will find very poor for other apartments in that locality). The apartment is very very old, some are renovated and some are not. There are no other facilities available like play area, pool etc. Children have no place to play and its not allowed to cycle in the parking lot. Snow are not cleaned properly, only salt are put to make the condition worse. Also heating system is very old and doesn't uniformly spread across the apartment. So not very comfortable in winter. Staff are polite but they have communication gap among them. So something told by one person can be contradicted by others. The main con is highly over priced. If your rent look okey initially, they will deduct the money from your security deposit later for cleaning and renovating the apartment. Lastly the public school of the locality is below average.

Thank you for your feedback about Tuckaway Heights Apartments, it is always appreciated. We have received the “top rated” award for the past 2 years for our online reviews, and I encourage you to read them. I believe the reader can determine that they are from our residents or former residents. Regarding pricing, we have many different styles for different budgets and lifestyles. Our applicants choose which style/rental rate they prefer. Our newest remodels even include laundry inside of the apartment and stainless steel appliances! Very updated and with new maple cabinetry. There are many parks near Tuckaway Heights. We do not permit bike riding in the parking lot because it is not safe to engage in recreational activities in a parking lot/roadway, which is meant for vehicular traffic. You mentioned our heating system doesn’t uniformly spread across the apartment. Each unit has its own individual furnace, which is gas forced air, so it comes out of registers in every room. We have replaced all 240 furnaces and all apartments are equipped with central air. Our maintenance staff is extremely talented (as you will see on other reviews) and they follow strict guidelines for snow removal including salting sidewalks. They have been working together at Tuckaway for more than 10 years, so they know the property well. Walks and parking lots are always shoveled/plowed in addition to being salted at every snowfall. Many residents have told me they moved to Greenfield specifically for the Greenfield school system, so I’m sorry if you did not have a good experience with it. You may wish to contact them directly with your feedback. All of our rules and regulations are listed in our lease agreement and can be reviewed before you sign a lease. This community of apartment buildings are quiet, spacious, and well maintained. The units are spacious,clean, and modern. The apartments have a well staffed main office for any questions or needs along with several maintenance employees available. Each building has a picnic table and grilling area. These buildings are close enough to downtown Milwaukee and Milwaukee's East Side and all the restaurants and entertainment it has to offer while still having a quiet suburb feel.
