Louisville is the largest city in Kentucky, resting alongside the Ohio River on the Kentucky-Indiana border. The architecture in Louisville is a mix of old and new, with historic neighborhoods comprised of Victorian houses and towering skyscrapers scattered throughout the downtown area, many of which contain upscale apartments and condos available for rent.
The amenities in Louisville are just as diverse as the architecture. Renting in Louisville affords you the opportunity to see the famous Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs, learn more about a boxing legend at the Muhammad Ali Center, and meet a range of animals at the Louisville Zoo. The city’s award-winning restaurant scene is an exemplary display of Southern cooking. Just outside the city lies the Louisville Mega Cavern, a vast underground space offering a broad range of adventurous attractions.

Property Ratings at Tucker Station Senior Apartments
Problem is the building is constructed that you can practically hear the person above you sneeze. So best case scenario is you get an average sized person above you who has some respect and consideration and who actually goes to bed at a decent hour. Worst case you get someone who gets up at 6pm and stomps around all night, dropping things, slamming things, moving things and you're trying to get some sleep and hold down a job.
My 74 year old mother that lives here can never find a parking space. The trashcans can even get a better spot than the residents. Whomever designed a senior apartment complex without thinking the parking through should really pause and reflect on that. She will be moving as soon as her lease is up.
First, I'm wondering why this place has a 4 star rating with only one review that is 2 stars?!? Anyway, there are more problems here than can be included here. The most glaring is the lack of available parking. If you leave and return in late afternoon you will find it difficult to find a space at all, let alone one convenient to your apartment's location. Being a senior complex there are several residents with handicapped parking permits. Forget about that - they have only five designated spaces and you may end up walking quite a distance if you are lucky enough to find a space at all in the evening. Several residents have two cars which only adds to the problem. You can rent a garage (located a long way from the building entrance) if you want to shell out another $150 a month! There have been complaints from residents and the only response has been dismissive to say the least. The water pressure has steadily declined as more apartments are filled. There are times that nothing more than a thin stream trickles out of the kitchen tap. When asked about this the management stated that it was related to the tankless water heaters and indicated there is nothing that can be done to remedy this. Several residents have complained about excessive noise from apartments above them. In the last few months several residents have tested positive for covid (that we know of)but no one wears masks inside. There are several large gatherings held in the community room despite this situation. I'm not a doctor but being a senior living complex it seems like a recipe for disaster to me. My advice is to keep looking if you are considering renting here. I am anxiously awaiting the end of my lease!
this was a nice complex when it was 25-30pct full. Since then the parking situation is abysmal. The additional parking the then property manager said would be constructed was not with no plans for. People have extended guests and kids who have no qualm using the parking in front of mobility impaired resident units One elevator in the center of the building aggrevates this as does that near all tenants refuse to use the side entrances and park anywhere else. It's horrible and getting worse. Reached a point where we don't dare leave after 3pm so kinda like being a prisoner.
