Property Ratings at Tuscano at Suncoast Crossings
We love it here! This is the second time we’ve rented a unit over the past 6 years. Each time it’s been great! We shopped around and found that the units at Tuscano are the largest square footage apartments for the money. Plus they are convenient to everything! The pool is like a resort pool with plenty of space for entertaining too! The front office is very responsive when needed.
This place has gone down hill, very fast. The upkeep, and safety have gotten worse. The parking is a nightmare, which leads to multiple cars double parking, and getting blocked in. Cars have been getting broken into, and windows broken. The front gate is always broken, and laying on the curb. The 2 pools are only 4ft deep, and the one that is able to be heated, isn’t. They turn the pool heater off as soon as the pool company leaves. There have been multiple building fires, and little has been done to repair the units effected. Maintenance never responds, unless you hound them. And even then, it’s just a band aid for the problem. The “dog park” is a joke. It’s a small fence area, that your dog can easily get out from. There are no safe clean areas for your kids to play, so they are constantly running up and down the halls. Which the hallway floors are wood, never cleaned, and constantly smell like dog poop and garbage. Save yourself the head ache.

I am sorry you had a bad experience, but most of what you described is very inaccurate. The parking point is valid. With the property 100% full (we think that's because it's a great place to live), parking has gotten tight. The Association recognizes that and is making a complete overhaul of the parking policies. This will result in getting cars out that shouldn't be here and providing residents with ample parking.
We moved in a few years back and it was a great find. Quiet, very convenient to the toll expressway and to 54 headed either east or west. Good price for what you got (yes, they are apartments), but in the last 2 years or so it has gone downhill. Had a couple of break-ins, the smell of marijuana smoke is extremely strong in the evening and overnight (sometimes to the point it will wake you), and there have been some car break-ins also. Meanwhile, the owners of the “condos” steadily raise the rent up to 10% each renewal. Their reasoning? These are investment properties. Don’t buy into the hype. No garages are available, there’s little to no parking due to re-roofing that’s been going on for months longer than originally revealed, and the gate arms work sometimes, but only sometimes. This community is 100% location. If you are willing to pay a premium for that, go for it, but if you actually like having a nice crib, there are brand new (actual condos) less than a mile in all directions that are less a month and are much nicer. Buyer (or renter) beware.
The rent is fairly cheap.. now I know why. Hotwire is the only internet provider you are able to use. DirectTV is the only cable provider you can use. Hotwire is absolutely useless. The internet connection constantly is dropping to the point I resort to my personal hotspot. When it gets too cloudy the TV connection doesn't work. So, no TV and no internet connection to connect to Netflix or Hulu. The HVAC units are 14 years old and I am a 22 year old. In the summer the bill for a second story can reach nearly $200. For a third floor you are looking at $300. The neighbors above and below deal with all the connection issues we have as well as the high electric bills. After one year we renewed and they increased the rent by $25... the carpet is so hold its matted and doesn't leave marks when you vacuum because there hardly is carpet to even vacuum. What is the $25 increase for? Where's my improved AC? Where is my improved internet connection? Where is my improved tv connection? WHERE IS THE $25 WORTH IT??? NOOO WHERE. Needless to say we are looking at other options come renewal time.

We are pleased to announce an AWESOME deal with Spectrum internet (400 mpbs!) and Television (includes HBO and Showtime!). It took a lawsuit to get the old providers out of here but we are enjoying the much improved service. You can stream games, Hulu, Netflix, etc with no problems now. Electric bills can be a reflection of how people live (a/c set cold, west facing shades open in the summer, lights and TV's left on, etc) so not always the property's fault.
Beautiful. Staff is very warm and welcoming. Looking up at the apartment complex, the place looks like a resort. The two pools are amazing. My four year old son loves to play. Everyone is so nice. The children get along and parents feel relaxed. The is a security women who talks to all guest which is very refreshing. And the workers are efficient, work hard and get things done quick. Love it here!
Situated in the fast growing Tampa Bay Area, these apartments are perfect for the luxury lifestyle. The extremities that come with these apartments are a gorgeous pool and hot tub with lounge chairs to get a golden tan in the Florida weather and a beautiful lake in the middle of the complexes to look out over. These condominiums have maintenance free accommodations. Each are fitted with a washer and dryer and all the appliances a person needs. Tuscano is located within minutes of the Tampa International Airport and about 30 minutes from Dowrown Tampa and beaches. These are great homes for a great price and a wonderful, and lively area.
