Property Ratings at Tuscany Village
They won’t tell you anything, hound you to put application in and pay the fees, only to ignore calls and emails afterwards. I applied over two months ago, they assured they’d have availability within a week of applying. Now here i am two months later and they haven’t answered one call. Id give 0 stars if possible
Management is very sorry my mother apartment was broken into with a key(maintenance) and manager backs them

From a million bugs, water floods and leaks, electricity outage, dirty environment and poor service this place is the worst of the worst! Don't move here!! Save yourself from the worst experience of your life!

After 28 days I was forced to break my lease. Things are not fixed in a timely manner. I found out by maintenance that water heaters were flooding units all over complex. Only a matter of time mine was going to explode. No ac for 10 days, electrical outlet problems from the start and no desire to fix unless you went in and threw a fit about it. Dishwasher had pieces of plastic and wood inside. Massive potholes that I had to dodge just to get to my unit. Management didn’t seem to care much that issues persisted.

Hello User, We appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention. We sincerely apologize for the frustration you experienced at our location. We would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this with you further so we can improve. Sincerely, Tuscany Village Staff
We lived here for only 11 days before we got out of our lease because it was uninhabitable! The entire time the AC did not work, the stove, the tub dripped, the dishwasher has a shoestring wrapped around it, could not legally hook up the dryer, the windows would not open, a 14yr old boy could go under and through the stair rail which was extremely wobbly, the garage door was broke, there were holes in the walls, etc... We scheduled our move in in advance so there was no excuse for the conditions. On top of that maintenance broke in twice without knocking stating the office told them no one was living there. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
I was very excited to move here. I came from 2 hours away so I came 1 weekend applied, then came the next weekend and did the walk through of the actual unit, and was told I would be getting the move in special of $250. So I went ahead and paid the $100 holding fee why I prepped my job transfer. So the day of move in I'm told that my window is busted out my apartment and I cant move in, I didnt have anywhere to go and I started work the next day so I had to move in. So they put a board in the window, then when they were going through my lease I was told that I didnt get the move in special and that I needed $585 more dollars to move in. The manager worked something out where they gave me 2 weeks to come up with it. That was just day 1. Day 2 I realised that my fridge didnt get cold at all so my groceries spoiled, took them a week and half to bring one then they left it on my porch for me to move myself. The broken fridge sat on my porch for 2 weeks before I demanded they take it. I had no racks inside my oven for 3 weeks. Instead of just bringing racks they left an entire oven on my porch which is still there and I've been here for a month. And the mice OMG!!! I've caught 5 mice in 1 month! I'm not use to rodents and bugs this place has all of that. I hate it. They still havent sent an exterminator out although the leasing agent claims they did. They keep saying they have no extra key to my house even though I personally watch them make it. This is honestly the worse place I've stayed in my life. The renovations on the inside of the apartment are nice and I have high ceilings and that's the only good things I have to say.... do not.... I repeat do not stay here. Oh yeah and I still dont have my mailbox key.
Been here since July & our plumbing backs up 1-3 times a week! They don’t ever fix anything, only reason anything started to get done is because I contacted the regional manager. The manager is rude, unprofessional & does not care about anyone but herself. The office ladies have attitudes & don’t know how to communicate. Many many people are dealing w/ MAJOR folding & plumbing issues here. Don’t move in here!! Waste of money!!!!
worse place I've ever lived . they don't deserve any Stars at all . nothing ever works . hot water was out for 3 months . I have sewage from the people's apartment upstairs backing up into my toilet and bathtub so I can't even use it most of the time . my house has been broken into over 5x . I can go on and on . management is rude and unprofessional . speaking with the regional manager won't help anything , in fact she's even worse . please , just save your money .
RUN FAR AWAY. The pictures posted here are of the office, not an apartment, and all the apartments are old, some are burnt down and condemned, and most don't have working A/C. The incompetence and lack of professionalism is infuriating and you will get no help. My first months living here they tried to charge me rent twice and threatened eviction. I submitted numerous reports for maintenance in my apartment, but the only things I got fixed were the things I called multiple times a day about. They're STILL withholding my security deposit even though they personally inspected and approved my apartment for return of deposit. The lawns are covered in dog poop, management responds by putting out dog poop trash cans with empty bag dispensers. Grossly overcharged for COX services, $60 monthly for basic internet and nothing else. COX is now charging me for equipment I was required to surrender to Tuscany Village. This is the worst place to live in the city.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Don't expect anyone in this office to be helpful, they wont. They'll take your rent and claim you haven't paid it, so keep your receipts. They send you an email stating your maintenance request is completed when they have not even attempted to complete it. Half of the buildings are burned down and dilapidated, half have gutters and roof shingles falling off, there are raccoons living in the walls, and most of us do not have A/C either. Save your time and money and avoid this place.
Wasn’t nice an was really dirty an nasty was not as pretty as pictured an just didn’t like it at all
Welcomed greetings, great living space with lots of room, drug environment friendly, unique amenities, perfect location with excellent parking spaces and outstanding balcony views with suitable stations within walking distance.
Awesome experience with well welcomed greetings and outstanding enverimentl features.
Worst place to live my boyfriend and i have had the worst experience with this complex our window got shot out and still hasnt been replaced so were living in the apartment in freezing temps almost two months now heats going right out they are are rude they dont care about there tenants because they would of taken care of the problem by now heat doesnt work half the time please if you are looking for nice place to live be treated professionally dont go we are so ready to leave this place they dont even deserve a star it should -100
I am new here at Tuscany Village and I am proud to say that I believe my friend and I have made the right choice. The one person among many that I would really like to give a special thanks to is Ms. Lindsey for pushing our application through for us. Great people and positive spirits is a place i would like to call home.
Well, what can I say- Priscilla and her team has done it again. I was very happy to see that they replaced the toilets with New flush toilets. They also replaced the shower heads and the filters on all the faucets. They are doing this to all the apartments. I also had a maintenance issue and they fixed it right away. They are very nice and very responsive . I have been here going on 12 years. I would recommend Tuscany Village to anyone and I have!!!
Look , everyone can complain , That's easy. But if you really give Tuscany Village a chance you will love it. I have been here since 2006. I have the lease to prove it. I have seen several owners and about 20 managers in that time. But I was signing yet another lease and was very pleasantly surprised. These people were actually concerned about my well being. Dailia the Manager and Kay the Asst. were ready, prepared, and took care of me in minutes. You know how you go to buy a new car or to sign another lease -the "oh can I really afford this" sticker shock moment. Oh my gosh--Hello- what you mean you are not going to take my first born if I stay?!! Guess what people -this group of people believes that take care of your residence renters so they will stay . I guess they don't want a half empty complex. Wow what a unique concept. Further more I have never had a problem that they couldn't fix in a timely manner. Now the apartments are much larger than most . If you compare you will find you pay higher prices for almost half the square feet. Go ahead and compare. I again have been here since 2006. As far as there security they do a very good job. You can be safe . I have my grandkids stay with me on weekends and I have no worries. I just want to see good people live in a good safe place. Dan T. actual resident !! :)
Apartment Maintenace does a great job of getting to work orders in a timely matter when it's something small. Big jobs will take a while because they never have the supplies they need to get the order done. Office staff are unorganized, high turnover rate, therefore no one knows what they are doing. Upper management does not care about the residents at all. The area is not safe, cops are always around. Shootings come from the apartment next door. There is also lots of drug related activity. Just don't live here, it's cheap but not worth it.
Where to start?! We rented a two bedroom split floor with a garage. The ENTIRE time we were here the AC and water heater did not work despite them repeatedly "fixing" it. That is why you see so many window ACs if you drive through. The washer/dryer hookup was a joke and you could not use it without cutting and pasting a dryer electrical cord together to make it long enough to work. The stove/oven did not work. The tub in the master did not work and leaked. The stairs railing was so out of code a teenage boy could fit between and under it (mind you there was a 10 foot drop from the second floor to the garage floor). None of the windows would open without a ton of effort. They ripped a huge hole in the closet while trying to fix the AC and disn't repair it. The roof shingles are falling off. Lights didn't work. We had maintenance men WALK IN our apartment without notifying us, while we were home. The garage door never worked. We weren't given a key for our garage or garage to apartment door. There were other holes in the walls. I can continue to go on! They essentially put lipstick on a pig by having new paint and carpet, but don't be fooled and look deeper! The office staff do not care that what they're renting is illegal and not up to code and standards. And they lie about what they told you so get everything in writing and even then they'll lie! Don't rent here especially if you have kids!
I have been living here for a little over three months. I love the area and how convenient the property is to different shops and stores. The security here is great! They make sure to make this a peaceful place to live, and I love the office staff!
I actually enjoy living here! It's quiet and not too much goes on in this community! The rooms are extremely spacious and and the apartments are of a decent size! Our main priority was to find something spacious and we definitely did! Not too many amenities though. They do offer a pull during the summer but it wasn't open half of the summer. Kind of disappointing. It's a big apartment complex. The security thinks they're cops. It's rather irritating! They drive an old police car and yell at people through their microphone!! But other than that. It's pretty nice! It's near tons of stores and they're walking distance! I don't regret living here.
Layout is great. Size is great Maintenance is less than stellar.
up-dating some of the Units. I hope that I will be next. I love that location. All of my connections are in this area.
